Views were incredible of Ocean and Beach. Park was filled with homeless and sheltered like urine. Not sure how locals could walk and run, but they just went about there business. Sad to see this once great place to go regularly as a kid turn into a mix of the extreme upper and lower financial groups. Guess if you're rich you don't have to see the problem as you drive your convertible Porches and Lambos.

A great place to walk, people watch, and enjoy the sunset. The parking wasn't bad, easy to find a space and not too expensive on a Friday afternoon.

Always worth a stroll if you’re in the area. Early mornings are calm but filled with runners. Evenings are a beautiful time to watch the sunset and the homeless nestled in for the night.

Great ocean views for tourists and runners. Homeless are there so use caution. Some parts were cleaner than others, but can’t beat the views.

Beautiful place for a morning jag or a walk. You may also take the stairs and the bridge down to the beach. The stairs are also a good exercise with picture perfect views

It's a nice park it was fun watching the squirrels play. I was able to get up really close to them like a ninja to get some good pictures. Also, it was nice to relax at night time by some of the bars across the street to listen to the awesome music and enjoy the crowds socializing with one another. The park has benches all along it, considering how narrow the park is. There are plenty of paths for walkers and bicyclists alike.

I visited here with family during some unseasonably cold weather in February . We bundled up on the only sunny day on my vacation and made our way through the park walkway . The views of the ocean were lovely . They have a huge issue with rodents here ....tons of squirrels and rats. They ran in and out of the shrubs looking for food from passersby. There are also many many many unhoused people laying in the grass , laying on the benches etc. This is not an area I would go to by myself ...I didn't feel safe.

Beautiful view, great walking areas, separate for bikes and pedestrians which is a big plus. Very clean and calm. Looks safe too. Not too many people out when I came as the weather was a bit chilly.

The narrow park is on a high land above the ocean. It has a tree lined walking path along Ocean Ave, and great viewpoints of the ocean. There are stairs to get down to the beach. The park is clean, there are, however, some homeless people loitering in the park.

Parking after 6 pm on weekdays is free on the meters. Sunset time is spectacular and quite busy. Be sure to check out the rose garden.

The sidewalk is paved and separated for walking and biking. There are a few eateries but not many shops. Actual boardwalks to the beach. Parking can be expensive so it makes sense to spend time at the pier and shops. Enough public restrooms. Good areas nearby for dining and shopping.

It's a beautiful stretch of grass and walking area with amazing views of the ocean and PCH. Parking isn't easy, but if you're persistent and patient you'll eventually find a spot.

Beautiful ambiance as eclectic as ever. In the middle of retro art deco buildings, span the palm trees pulling you closer to the Bluffs of Santa Monica Beach alongside Pacific Coast Highway. During the Golden Hour is a place to be. Fully charged camera phones or full gear for a 2 hours photo shoot is a must have. The worst feeling is not having the right amount of charged battery and the sky is changing from pinks to purple. I've warned you, you're most welcome ☺️ 🙏

Love this part of Santa Monica Beach, usually busy but I haven't had problems finding parking! Many people in the park not crowded, everyone minding their own business. Would recommend you go out to do your day to day activities, for me totally worth the drive!

Straight up this area rocks ! It’s gorgeous , overlooks the Santa Monica white sands beach , had a bathroom , dog walkers , picnickers , scooter rentals , juice truck , it’s an awesome Spot to get in a good stroll , no Matter your fitness level . If you want a little extra to start the day hit the Santa Monica staircase over on 4th by San Vicente , that will Work those quads before the chill walk !

I have been coming to this park for over 50 years. Great view of the ocean to watch the Santa Monica Pier. With a stretch of a view from the coast of Malibu to even seeing Catalina Island, and all of the South Bay. One of my favorite places to hangout and chill.

Beautiful, peaceful, clean, safe. Gorgeous views of the ocean. The palms are unique to many others found in Southern California. They branch of from the root and create precious little places to sit in if you're having time to yourself. Plenty of food and gathering, entertainment, etc. but a much mellower feeling than, say, Venice Beach. This is not a spot convenient for those with little money, but there is a food truck and a few places nearby. A lovely place for a picnic and a walk.

My joy spot is Palasades Park. I love watching people jogging, walking, bicycling, exercising. Families & friends playing, eating, laughing, talking together. The long stretch of grass with a rise garden & beautiful Palm trees lining the walkway overlooking a sunny blue sky melting into a glistening blue ocean! Yep. My little piece of Heaven.

Visitors are all over regardless of the pandemic. Most people were wearing marks, very few were not. Although police was patrolling and a sign of $100 fine for not wearing a mask was posted, it was not being enforced. I would say that maybe 1/1000 were not wearing a mask. Compared to few weeks ago, a big improvement.

It's a wonderful little spot if you want take a run, bike ride or just enjoy the view of the ocean. In the public restroom is just like any other public restroom on the beach. Little smelly but survivable. There stairs or ramps leaving down to the beach which is really useful. Definitely would visit again.

Amazing views, pleasant environment on weekdays. Little crowded on weekends with either people visiting from outta town or local snobs that don’t say “hi” when you walk past or even acknowledge your presence. Welcome to West LA though, where being friendly, authentic and genuine are more rare than expensive exotic cars!

Anytime im coming through Santa Monica on my bike, i usually stop here. Water fountains, tables and benches, and shade. It also has a great view of the ocean.

I love everything about Los Angeles, especially Palisades Park Bridge and Palisades Park! It's a must stop with every visit paid to Los Angeles. The views are breathe taking and there is plenty of spots for that photo op. Sometimes the place gets jammed packed depending on what day and what time you go but it usually has stop and go traffic. There is a restroom here that is busy so make sure you look before you leap into the stall ladies and gents.

Gorgeous space and I love the walks. There are some people experiencing homelessness but that's true of most of the area. Everyone coexists peacefully from my experience. Love those views and the Rose Garden.

I took the 6-week intro class with Didem and loved it! She is so talented and inspiring. She does a great job at breaking down things for beginners. The environment at Palisades Park is so welcoming and everyone is super helpful. I 100% recommend, especially a class with Didem!!!
