It looks like a cool place to bring your dog to run & play in the dirt.

Decent dog park with parking, fencing, and a small dog area that separate from main area. Bring your own bags, they are usually out. A lot of dog walkers frequent here, they are friendly and the dogs are well socialized too. There is a building that shares the parking lot with the park that a few homeless folks seem to be camped out at but I would say it is still pretty safe (compared to some other Venice spots, at least) . There is also a large green lawn next to the park and dogs and thier owners sometimes utilize that area too. Two big banyan trees shade the north side of the park and there is limited street parking on that side too. Years ago, Venice floated the idea of turning the spot into a homeless resource center since it is centrally located and close to the beach (between Pacific and Main Street and a few blocks north of Windward Ave.) but then they realized it's hilly location overlooks Westminster elementary school's playground and they built the dog park instead.

Venice, the first day after a RAIN STORM 2022. It was so refreshing and beautiful. Life was vibrant and people enjoying their SOCIAL activities. Gotta LOVE THIS PLACE.

This place has gone to the dogs. But it is Dogtown. The only time you are gonna wanna leave is to chase the sunset. Beautiful rubber fig tree's, Hippies, and Waggy tails. Just watch out for holes and land mines.

I've been bringing my small dogs here for several years, and we've always styed in the small dog area. There are always nice fellow dog lovers to converse with. I've never had an issue with anyone, or any dogs. Everyone is always respectful and responsible. My dogs have a lot of fun running and romping with the other little dogs.

Super cute and a good place to let your dog loose. Woodchip cover the ground. No grass, but no sand either. It's on an incline

This is a nice dog park they do have parking here. They also have a big dog park fenced in area and a little dog park fenced in area so you have no worries about little Fifi getting attack. It also has water here for the dogs. The people here seem to be all so friendly and they also pick up after their dogs no poo in the yard. Very respectful people here.

Gives so much more to the community than it's given credit for! Bring your dog (or not), enjoy the space, the grass, and the trees....Those trees were shipped here diplomatically through Abbot Kinney; the surrounding houses have even more history! But the point was always just to give everyone a space to relax and just be Venice neighbors and visitors together 🖤

It's a nice place to bring your dogs in the homeless problems getting taken care of so come out under tree and have a picnic

Spacious dirt park with many friendly dogs and people. They do water it to keep dust down, so don't get caught in the sprinklers.

Nice shade areas and well maintained by that maintenance guy. Friendly but the gangs and homeless need addressed.

It's great to take your dog because it's right near the beach. It has a little bit of grass but mainly dirt and wood chips. I've met really cool people here and love that the boardwalk is a block away. There are homeless but they usually are friendly. I come here at least once a month because I love an hour away. One of my favorite places.

Great parking lot and the dog park here is huge!! Would have given it five stars but most of the landscape at this dog park is mulch but there are grassy areas and shady areas and a huge metal dog bowl for water with a high pressure faucet! The people here & neighborhood folks are extremely helpful and knowledgeable!! Thank you to the"Mayor" here, Stephen!! Only a 1 block walk away from Venice beach!!!
