It was our first time visiting, although we have seen various times they have had live music. There was not much sitting area, food we were told was coming out 45 minutes to an hour... As of today the only good experience I took from visiting here was the music... We didn't get to try the food because of the length of time it was going to take to come to our table. The young lady that assisted us tried her best to help find us a seat and inform us of what the wait was on food... May try again some other day to try their food.

I went with the family for dinner and ordered tacos and 1 shrimp plate. Tacos rolled out 30min. Later and they had trouble finishing the plates, which was odd since the plates seem very manageable to finish. My shrimp plate didn't arrive to the table roughly an hour and a half later, it was good but the wait really made it difficult to give this much praise. If your going to eat here, go for the breakfast, but for dinner just try to keep it simple, and make sure you have plenty of room for alcohol, this should keep you busy for the time being until your plate shows up.

Excellent discovery on our way back home from Ventura Beaches. Chilies VERDE omelet is highly recommended! My wife had the costillas de puerco breakfast plate. Couldn't find anything to complain about. Small place.

A new favorite Mexican food place in the area! Homemade corn tortillas, excellently flavored meat. Rice is just perfect. Cadillac margarita was fresh and perfectly balanced. Can’t wait to return and try more of the menu!

Wow wow wow wow We found this place on desperate wedding hangover breakfast need, and they did not disappoint! I got the Tattoo burrito smothered in their Chile Verde sauce and I’m at blown away. The sauce is divine, I just want to buy a bucket of it and put it on everything! If we ever find ourselves in Santa Paula again, we will be coming back!

The food is very delicious. The beans are very tasty. It has a coffee shop atmosphere. They do sell liquor now. Bloody Mary's etc. The food kind of reminds me of my grandma's food in her kitchen that she would make for us. Very authentic. Prices are reasonable. Good portions

Great place for breakfast! Any Mexican breakfast will be plentiful and satisfyingly delicious. I recommend the machaca, green chilaquiles, and though this might be unconventional for breaffy order them with a coke in the glass bottle. I didn't try them I would also recommend their pancakes. I got a chance to ogle them on their way to the table next to us and they looked to die for! I gotta go back and try them. The young ladies serving were super busy but polite and attentive the entire time.

We waited over an hour for a bowl of menudo and an omelet. After an hour and 15 mins we walked out. Did not receive our food or an apology for the long wait. I understand places get busy but we receive no apologies for having to wait nor did we receive any type of explanation of the delay. We were sat at our table and forgot about. Very disappointing experience 😞

Had an amazing experience at El Capricho Mexican restaurant! The molcajete meal was a showstopper – packed with flavor and generous portions. The blend of fresh ingredients showcased authentic Mexican cuisine at its best. The ambiance was vibrant, and the staff's hospitality added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend El Capricho, especially for those craving a mouthwatering molcajete experience! I'm coming back for more.

Good food but portion size of food for the price could be larger. Chilli verde had 3 prices of meat. Potatoes small asked for few more said extra charge. Will think about coming back.

We were in passing through Santa Paula and decided to stop since we were hungry and we were happy we did. The food was delicious and we will be back. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the Vince's Huevos Rancheros con Chile Verde

👍👍 I was passing thru town and happen to smell the smoke from the pit, and had to pull over and try the BBQ. They didn't disappoint. Food was amazing and I had the 3 meat bowl over beans and rice. Will for sure make a point to stop over here next time I'm going up the 126. Gotta try more of the food ch...

😠 I went here once in person and remember it being really good. We ordered takeout and when I went to pick it up one item was wrong- just the wrong kind of enchilada. The girl at the front was really sweet and had the kitchen remake it. I got home to find that instead of the cheese enchiladas with red...
