Great place to have a beer. Staff are always friendly and pleasant. One of the best spots in Santa Rosa!

5 stars for covid safety & atmosphere. The bar cat is the cutest. But the beer is very sour. Must be super into sour beer -- and this will be your new favorite spot!

Dog friendly throughout. Medium/Large outdoor area accessed through the main bar. Partially covered and heated. The barrel aged sours are the way to go. Hard to find that style in this area.

If you like sour beer this is a MUST VISIT. If you don't like sour beer, well you're in luck because their other beers are also excellent. There's almost always a food truck here serving up something delicious, and the patio has tons of space to hang out. There's often events going on here and they're always a great time. If nothing else, at least stop by to say hi to Cosmo their adorable bar cat.

This spot is an amazing beer haven centrally located in downtown. The barrel house is immaculate with a great selection of sours and saisons with the occasional IPA (with Brett if you're lucky!) to certainly appease any drinker. Friendly folks, furry friends, and an overall awesome atmosphere! Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Not really into the hazy style, but the beers were excellent, very well crafted with balanced taste. Great outdoor seating area, and there was a food stand (on a Sunday). Also a bunch of awesome pinball machines and classic video games. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Great microbrewery in Downtown Santa Rosa. It's kind of easy to miss since they are tucked on a side street at the south end of the mall, but a must-visit for specialty beer lovers. They always have a variety of really interesting options, including sour beers and other unique variations outside the typical IPAs. The tasting room is spacious, staff are really friendly and helpful. I love stopping in and watching them can my beer right in front of me before I take it home to enjoy. I'm looking forward to when they have live music again.

What an enjoyable visit! Only tried one of their brews, but it was delicious. Interesting setup, cool little lounge area next to the bar complete with comfy couches and a row of old school movie theater seats. Nice patio out back that backs right up to the creek. Food truck on the patio was offering good-looking Asian dishes while we were there. Most of the space inside holds there brews being aged in barrels, giving the place an industrial warehouse feel. Loved the staff and vibe, will definitely be back for more!

Another hidden gem in Santa Rosa. I have been here twice and have loved the rotating beers. My wife loves the sours, as well. The patio with the food trucks is a nice thing when the weather is great. Steve, the owner, is super nice and lets folks try the various beers. We will return the next time we are back in Santa Rosa.

Absolutely amazing taproom. I just wish they would utilize the space more and release more beers.

The Shady Oak Barrel House features locally brewed beer in a very relaxed setting that you want to bring friends to experience the variety of great brews. They have a Taproom and Beer Garden. Retro cool pinball machines are on sight. If interested, you can book private parties here. Outside, there is a new mesmerizing Casey Weldon mural worth checking out before coming in.

Nice space, good food trucks. Only 3 stars because our beer poured from can wasn't cold enough. Hip hop turned 50 and it was way too loud. Come on, hip hop is middle aged

Came for the BA sours, but they didn't have any. The only other beers they had on tap were IPAs, a pale ale, and a lager. And the lager wasn't even available to go, and I was looking to buy cans.
