Pleasant place... hubby said food was ok...only NOT gulten free accommodating. When I mentioned I had a strong gf allergy ( celiac), the server made a note. I even asked if flour was in or added to hashbrowns, and the server said no. I took 2 bite and then tmbad reaction.

My go to spot when I am in need of a serious but healthy brunch. I am slightly obsessed with the seasonal veggie hash and they have some of the best biscuits and gravy! A little tip: you can get half an order of the veggie hash and a side of the biscuits. Best of both worlds! The staff there is always friendly and working as a team. You're a gem, Midtown Cafe! *Dierk's has two locations, same delicious menu and amazing staff but I feel and love the midtown cafes' brighter lighting and a larger patio option*

The good -The food. We got breakfast. Enjoyed every bite. My only complaint, the fried chicken Benedict doesn’t come with a carb (muffin or biscuit) but that isn’t exactly clear in the menu. Small thing as the bacon was cooked to perfection. The better -Service is wonderful. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and Knowledgeable of the menu even though it was a holiday (New Year’s Day) I also REALLY appreciate that they offered Hoppin’ John. While my friend and I didn’t order any, to see a dish I grew up having on New Year’s Day on the menu meant a lot—especially given how far from home I was.

4.5 stars. I wish I got photos but honestly the food was so delicious that we destroyed it before I thought to take a pic. Huevos Ranchero - yes, get this! Salsa Verde is bomb. I would skip the pull apart cinnamon thing if I went again...deep fried and greasy but sugary and good w coffee. The staff is friendly and attentive. Would return ❤️

This is my favorite place to eat in Santa Rosa. It has new owners and new name, but thankfully the staff and menu and food are basically the same, and the new owners are nice and seem to really care about the place. Great food, way above a typical diner. I usually order the breakfast burrito, but I've tried other stuff and it's all good. Strong and tasty coffee, nice service, great location. You can't lose with this place.

Tasty biscuits n gravy; wife enjoyed duck confit Mellow atmosphere - easy to miss the business from the road - we passed it twice - in a small shopping center. Waitresses were wonderful. Food was fast. A bit pricey.

I've been here a few times now and it is one of my favorite brunch places, even on weekdays. The food all tastes so fresh and it seems to be made from real ingredients. If they cut any corners, I haven't experienced it. I especially like the warm poached egg salad - the yolk mixes with the dressing to create a velvety experience that makes the salad a filling meal. This is great for cutting carbs too. I had the eggs bene last time - forget carbs and live! Served on toasted French bread, the dish was a twist on a common diner staple. The hash browns extra crispy were closer to a potato pancake and really left me wanting more. All the dishes we've had have been good. On weekends there is a wait, but weekdays are pretty open. Coffee is strong. Tea is light. Staff are friendly. Prices are right. Exactly what I expect from a SoCo diner.

Great food, an amazingly fair price. Not pictured, but the chicken fried steak is one of the best in town. My only small criticism is the hash browns weren't as crispy as they could be. But I prefer country potatoes anyway.

This was our first visit to J&M's. We were looking for a quick breakfast. So, we did a Google search. Several good local options. But, J&M's stood out. We were pleasantly surprised. It is a small, cozy sit-down café. If you're looking for lattes, you won't find lattes here. Still, I can assure you the drip coffee is very good. And, the menu has something surely to please. Service was quick and quality high. Each plate had plenty and was reasonably priced. We were more than satisfied. J&M's is a fantastic café.

I have a slight preference for the Parkside location, but this place is equally great. Fantastic quality diner food with a fine dining flair. I have never not thoroughly enjoyed a meal at either location. They also have really tasty coffee. Big fan☕️. The staff are also delightful and attentive. I have always had stellar service. If you haven't been here, go here.

Gave only 4 ⭐ overall because they have only one cup size for to go soda....very small. A medium soda a few doors down at Foster Freeze is equal to the one size here. Food is excellent otherwise.

We normally go to Dierk's Parkside, and wanted to try this restaurant. The food did not disappoint, it's just as good as the one on Santa Rosa Avenue. The only challenge we had was that my mom was in a wheelchair and trying to get to the front door from the wheelchair parking was ridiculous. They definitely need to open that up in the parking lot.

This is a gem!! Atmosphere is lovely. You can eat inside or outside (covered) pick where you want. My friend and I came for breakfast. We ordered the pancake plate ( 2 sourdough pancakes, eggs and bacon added cheese) & country Benedict. Everything was FRESH and flavorful. Wish we had seen it earlier in our stay would have come more than once. Hit them up!!!!

Awesome people, food, and service. We come here once every two weeks for breakfast, and have never been disapointed.

The food is god at Dierk's Midtown Cafe, and it is always busy because of that. It is very noisy, so it's difficult to carry on a conversation. But it has a cozy feel & worth trying.

Dierk's was a pleasant surprise. I had their take on Eggs Benedict two poached eggs on a French baguette with mushrooms oven roasted tomatoes and hollandaise sauce beside a generous portion of hash browns perfectly cooked crispy brown outside just right in the middle. I was served by a friendly and efficient staff. Coffee was good and they kept it filled. I'm planning on returning to Dierk's Midtown Cafe again soon. Their lunch menu looked as good as breakfast.

Cozy diner with the hodgepodge atmosphere you'd expect Hit or miss menu, but when it hits, it hits on the mark and at a reasonable price. Friendly, laid back staff. The tostadas, when available, are stellar.

Excellent food and terrific service. Willing to make substitutions as needed on menu items. Good variety and reasonable prices. Outdoor dining option available

The meal looked appealing, but it was tasteless. The hollandaise was bland. The poached egg was made correctly. The textures were right. No flavor. Service was on the slow side.

Today on this day of July 4th, my girlfriend and I explored the local lists of breakfast restaurants. To my surprise most were closed, until there was a golden glimpse of hope. Drove past Dierk’s Midtown Cafe. And the place looked like a family bonding moment in one of those emotional scenes in a movie. Laughter and talking , all while savoring each bite of their brunch time banquet. Decision was made, this is where we were going to have out feast. Short wait to get in, and got right to it. Piping hot diner coffee in a mug felt like the drink of the gods fueling my body for this comestible cuisine of consumption. When coming here the first thing that comes to mind is comfort food. So Chicken fried steak, hash browns, and an accompaniment of two deliciously devourable over medium eggs and a side of perfectly buttered sourdough toast. How you say? magnifique!! Did I mention I also ordered the cinnamon and sugar dusted pull apart bread? To share of course. This was a monumental masterpiece. My food ingenuity kicked in and I whipped the plate up together steak, hash browns , and of course an egg on top, in between the sourdough and sunk my teeth in. You know those moments when the food is so good your eyes roll back and you try and say oh my god but it comes out mmmohhmyyuhgod. Yep right there in the restaurant in front of everyone. No shame it was well deserved. Long story short, go there and have your own wonderful foodtopia!

Been going here for years and it never disappoints. The food is good, consistent and they offer such a good variety. They get real busy so be prepared to wait if you are going during a busy time (weekend mornings). Service is good, I have never really had issues. You may have to wait a little bit for someone to come to your table but the food comes fast. Their corn beef hash is probably my favorite and what I get most of the times but their other items are equally as good. Dierk’s in general is a must place to try for breakfast or brunch. I do wish they offered some gluten free pancakes, though. That would make my day!
