I ordered online, arrived 15 minutes later, had to wait in line 5 minutes to find out they had the order but had not bothered to make it. While waiting some more, I noticed the counter in full sun and started wondering if my tuna sandwich would even be safe to eat...? How do they keep mayo and meat from going bad when it's sitting in the sun all day? They got my order finished, and then left it on the counter until I went up there asked for it.

We called our order in on a busy working day. When I got to the store our order was ready to go. Got home & every sandwich was made correctly & assembled very well! The bread was delicious. Staff was professional & friendly. I'll definitely go back when I'm in the area next!

Sandwiches where awesome. You can get whole or half. You can also buy a whole pickled pickle. If you like sandwiches this place is for you.

This sandwhich shop was really good in years past but has gone down hill since the pandemic. Bread is not fresh and sandwiches are considerably smaller and more expensive. I used to love to eat here. Now I need to find a new sandwhich shop.

I just tried the delivery service and it was great! Placed our order online and the sandwiches were fresh and built to order and huge! Service is outstanding, too. I called with questions about my online delivery order.

Went in about 11:40 on a Saturday, the three nice teenagers working had no supervision, nobody knew what to do when about 8 other people walked in, they just stared at each other in panic. I finally got my sandwich after at least 15 minutes, went home a few blocks away and the sandwich was so soggy it was unedible. Wouldn't think of calling or going back as that would have just added to the teenager's stress. Won't be going back-

Tried calling, no answer… placed an order online and it said ready for pickup in 20min. I showed up 23 min later and they were not busy at all. They had plenty of workers but my sandwich had not even been started yet… I waited and watched them start making my sandwich while I waited. I won’t be wasting my time on this place again.

Great sandwich shop! Tasty food and good size sandwiches and you can get a half sandwich if you are not that hungry.

Placed an on-line order today. When I arrived, there were no other customers, but my sandwich had not been made on the bread which was clearly printed on the order receipt. Good thing I checked bag before departing. No apology offered. While waiting for it to be remade, I noted that the towel that was used to wipe down the plastic preparation area was almost touching (@1/2 inch) the sandwich bread. I mentioned it nicely and the employee responded "but it is not actually touching it". As she waited for the hot ingredients to be done, she wiped down the counter with the same moist towel and then placed the sandwich seconds later on that same counter surface--no paper wrapping separating the bread from the counter. I politely remarked that this seemed to be an unsanitary process. She responded that the towel "was not dirty" though there were clearly condiment marks, etc. from previous sandwiches. I will not be returning as there clearly seems to be a very casual attitude towards common sense health practices and want to alert other customers and health officials.

Solid sandwiches my favorite so far is the Monteray it's a teriyaki chicken sandwich

The store in San Rafael is way better, I had a Ruben and it was so dry and flavorless, I should have gotten a bit, bu t I won't go back, the customer service was as dry as the sandwich, they make you feel much more cared about at the San Rafael location

Everything is so delicious 😋 There is nothing to dislike Also workers are so kind. Every time I go there it's clean, I also love their cookies 🍪

I walked into get a sandwich and the line was soooo long. I waited for 10 to 15 minutes thinking there would be some movement but it seemed the sandwich makers were making things for online orders and didn't have time for their in-store customers. I know the sandwiches are good due to all the wonderful customers, but grabbing a quick bite just wasn't in the cards.

My first time there today. VStaff super nice! Took forever to get our food. Got it home and found out they did not put everything my husband ordered on his sandwich. Not much meat or pickles.

I am very picky about my sandwich joints. No Subway, no Quiznos, no Togos. 🤢 It's got to either be a strait up Italian sando shop, or, what I like to call, an "outside the box" sandwich shop. This place falls into the later category. I usually get either the Got Beef, or the Reggie Reggie (mood dependent). They have Dutch crunch, which is my bread of choice, and is delicious at this joint. They pack the meat up high, the veggies are evenly laid out, and sandwich construction is always consistently masterful. I haven't had a bad sandwich from this place yet, and I have gone to multiple Pickles locations. 👍

Visited at 12:30 on a Wednesday, ordered two sandwiches and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Sandwiches hit the spot and they had fresh ingredients. The staff was helpful and friendly. Will be visiting often. Was hopeful we would have pickles in our bay was the only bummer.

The sandwiches are extremely good. Tons of meat! Highly recommend. We got the Italian and a Ruben.

I recently had their French dip for the first time, it was absolutely horrible. Dry overcooked meat and barely any of it. I have liked their sandwiches in the past but have seen a decline in quality.

Sandwiches are good but it takes a very long time to get them. Don’t bother ordering online as they don’t usually start making the sandwich until you arrive anyway.

The deli sandwiches are good. Best sandwich place? No, but it is a good balance of price, quality and tastiness. They give you a cookie with your sandwich which is a nice touch too.
