The food at this restaurant is excellent. Obsluha super. They have delicious fish, pork is perfection. So if you want to visit this restaurant because their food is fantasy. The only thing that bothered us all the way to the menu was a whole bottle of wine and just a drink. But what can be done. Otherwise, there are a lot of people going to lunch there so long waiting for the table.

Food is excellent and price is right. Service can be slow however polite and helpful. Location is close to cathedral and restaurant/bars area.

The food was excellent but the staff were pretentious and unpleasant. They told our party to sit down, even though no one else was in the restaurant. They made no effort to get food to the correct people and brought a starter after we received our entrees. It made for an overall disappointing experience.

Perfect place to taste typical Galician food. I love "pulpo a la plancha" and "Caldo gallego"

What a fantastic meal. It was a nice introduction to Santiago de Compostella. The hake was perfectly cooked with nice crispy skin and was accompanied with the smoothest potatoes. My mother and I enjoyed our dinner a lot.

Incredibly cozy and loving restaurant. Starting from the ambience of the restaurant, which is very inviting and lovingly decorated, to the staff, which despite lack of Spanish knowledge on my part, fulfilled all my wishes. And finally, the excellent fresh dishes that I can recommend to everyone. I will come again.

Everything we tried was first-rate. Savory and perfectly cooked fish dishes. Delicious soups. Met with a warm welcome and comfortable table.

We went with a group of 6, had a cozy table with great service. We ordered several starters for the table to share, and 2 in the party ordered the salads and they were huge! Reports were they were delicious. Everything we had was tasty, especially the flan at the end of the meal- one of the best in all of Spain. We really enjoyed our meal experience at O Dezaseis, and we highly recommend a reservation when in Santiago.

Great decor and atmosphere along with attentive service and fantastic food make this a great choice! The crab Croquetas and the Galician style Pulpo are simply amazing. The Lamb and Secreto perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are on the large side... Not the cheapest restaurant in town but well worth the price, which is very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Tasty Spanish food with great sangria in a traditional restaurant with beautiful stone steps and thick castle walls and solid wood tables. Great service. Very friendly and professional.

Excellent food and service. We come to Santiago every 2 to 3 years and always stop here for fabulous food. Been coming since 2013. Buen camino.

Lovely place. Amazing service and food quality. Galicia is full of world-class restaurants, this one stands out, even there. Just let them advise you on the seafood and meat options and enjoy a wine recommendation with your meal. You will not regret it ;)

Beautiful restaurant, with a lovely calm ambience on the night I was here, in the sense that while it was fairly full it wasn't noisy, and the waiters kept things moving with great professionalism. Great for a special meal.

One of the best restaurants in Santiago de Compostela. The decoration is nice and the food is very good. Probably the best grilled pork so far. Have to order if you like pork. The lamb stew is so so and can skip it. Tortilla is also very good one (we tried the one with jamon) We have a nice time in the restaurant, the food and drink all in reasonable price There are two floors in the restaurant so usually no need to wait that long. Maybe during weekend and after 9:30, have to wait a bit longer

Wonderful place! Food is superb (all courses), athmosphere is relaxed/rustic/local, a bit off the tourist-track and a must for everyone who visits Santiago. Beyond imagination were the Zamburiñas (St James scallops), the best ones I ever had in my life.
