👍👍 One of our favorite restaurants in Santiago. Jaime the owner is terrific. We enjoyed a lightly fried squid starter with spicy aioli and black ink aioli. The primary course was a fresh seafood stew with rice. For desert we had a delicious cheesecake made with blue cheese. Sounds strange but it... People often mention Santiago,

One of our favorite restaurants in Santiago. Jaime the owner is terrific. We enjoyed a lightly fried squid starter with spicy aioli and black ink aioli. The primary course was a fresh seafood stew with rice. For desert we had a delicious cheesecake made with blue cheese. Sounds strange but it was terrific. Plus an chocolate sponge cake with vanilla ice cream and bourbon. Nice Galician Brandy, too. Strongly recommend.

Loved this restaurant. I walked in on an impulse, was seated on a bar overlooking the fish cooler, because they were full. Service was impeccable, I had the pilgrim's menu (I walked into Santiago an hour earlier, finishing my Camino) which was delicious and cheap. The salad, with baked tomatoes and a lump of cheese over rokula, with basil dressing, was a rare experience.

We discovered BenBoa on our first day in Santiago. After collecting our Compostela, we were hungry & wanted to taste something other than pilgrims ‘typical’ cuisine. We were blown away by the fantastic foodie experience. BenBoa is one of the we finest yet not pretentiousness restaurant in Spain! The tomates w anchovy & soft cheese with crusty grainy bread & Albariño wine was ever so good!! I loved it so much I came back on my own again the very next day! In the evening, I brought my friends & this time we shared the grilled squid & my friends had the same tomates salad & bread while I chose the cheesecake — secret recipe > you gotta try it! And to top it off, we were graciously gifted with a taste of Jamie’s own crafted liquor- what a treat!!

Wandered in one evening for a drink. Super stylish place with extensive choice of local wine. Good choice for a relaxed drink or something to eat. 👍

This is a great find in Santiago! Fresh and local food prepared in a creative way. The octopus ‘Hot Dog’ was amazing. Lovely seafood salads and wonderful desserts, too. The interior is cosy, but there’s a nice outdoor space in the back, too. Great group working there!

excellent restaurant! The food is excellent and we received a warm welcome from the staff. If you want top food in the centre of Santiago, this is the place. I love that they use local specialties but cook them with a twist (octopus hotdog for example). That said they have more traditional dishes too. As a seafood lover I was very pleased!

Great sea food. A beautiful tasteful cuttlefish in their own ink. The monkfish was also extremely tasteful and the hamburger super meat. And friendly service

Nice mid range spot near the market. Serving up a bunch of really nice seafood dishes. Trending towards $$ in price but the portions are generous. Expect to pay around 20-30 per person with drinks. Highlights were the prawn in brioche bun and clams. Bread served up was also very tasty.

Excellent service. Responsive and helpfully was able to assist with the English translation. Probably our best dinner in Galicia so far. I had the pork culet, more like a rack, which fell off the bone. Good gluten free choices and gluten free bread offered.
