Definitely worth trying theirs tortilla! They offer it here just as a side dish with every drink you ask, even water. Prices are not low here but also not high, it serves just normal dishes you can find in other places. The interior of the restaurant wasn't cosy as for me, tables and chairs are too chunky, but they got tables outside where you can appreciate the weather. The stuff is nice and quick, they tend to have lots of clients but still manage to serve everyone pretty fast. Basically, if you are feeling like good tortilla with a drink you should visit it.

A great place to stop by for classic tapas or appetizers with a beer in an informal environment. When you order a beer -must try an Estrella de Galicia- they bring you a slice of their tortilla de patata for free, which is Ok but their other menu options are great!! Pimientos de Padron (padron small peppers), Octopus Gallega or patatas bravas. Price is fair and food is really good, be prepared is usually packed you probably have to wait for a table.

Amazing tortilla! We arrived in Santiago on a Monday night and couldn't believe how incredibly busy Hospidaje Bar La Tita was. It was packed full of students probably because of the free tapa of tortilla Española (Spanish potato omelette) that you get with every drink - €1 for a caña - about 250-300 ml of beer. We've eaten a lot of tortilla and the tortilla here is probably the best we ever eaten - it just melts in your mouth!! No one (except us) was eating anything else in this bar - we also had a salad and some croquetas which were nice but unremarkable, and some very good house made desserts.

Tapas tapas! Loved their tortilla along with Estrella beer. The place is always packed and there must be a reason. I would say this place is good for an aperitif although they have big plates as well.

Really cool bar with tasty food!! Lots of local people, which means good prices and good food. We stayed in the rooms on top of the bar, which are clean and no bunk beds. Each bed has a towel. There's 2 full bathrooms per floor. Comfortable beds. And Mercedes, the woman who runs the rooms, is friendly. Really well located, 5 minutes walking to the cathedral. And for the same price as an albergue: 15€ per person to share between 2/3 people. There's also double bed rooms.

Ok maybe not a 5, but I REALLY like this place. Tortilla is good but not the most amazing food experience either - I’m no connoisseur. This place is about the fact that everyone goes for an (almost) meal size serve, great ambiance and no pretence. Highly recommended. (Good to go late on a rainy night - no waiting!)

Amazing bar and restaurant always full with people. Went in a Friday afternoon and had Pulpo a la plancha and a glass of Estrella de Galicia, came with a tapa of tortilla de patata. The food is really tasty and cheap!

Have to go with a low rating for this place literally because of the really bad service from the waiter looking after the tables outside, such a shame because you knew it's a good place. Anyways after a little wait for table we were seated but then we just waited whilst he served everyone around us, i had to go inside and complain, he then served us but just completely did not bring our drinks, when our food finally came i had to complain again to the guy who bought it out, literally sat at an empty table for half an hour with no drinks. Waiter was great at all the usual avoiding tactics instead of looking the customers. Won't be going back, was glad to move on to the next place.

La Tita is one of the best places for a Beer. For 2€ You get a beer and a Tapa (mini Tortilla). Small place inside and about 8 to10 tables outside. Ali, a Brazilian employee, is very nice and friendly. Will come back

If you are in Santiago you need to come to La Tita and try their tortilla, this place is a must! Unfortunately, this time the tortilla needed some salt, a bit annoying! But try your luck!

The best tortilla I have ever eaten. And for each drink you buy they give you a small piece to enjoy. I have not stayed in there rooms.
