Great location, delicious food and great value for the price (the portions are very generous). The Mercado de Boanerges offers many options for vegetarians. The food is freshly cooked and ingredients are chosen seasonally and locally. A reservation is recommended, especially on weekends.

A nice restaurant tucked away up a side street near el corte ingles. We both had burgers - we were asked how we wanted them cooked, we opted for we'll done as we are used to English burger meat which is poisonous unless cremated. The burgers arrived on wooden boards with only a few wedge type chips. All very tasty but the burgers would have been better with a bit more seasoning and a sauce or mayonnaise. We were seated in the conservatory - not a lot of atmosphere but functional. The waitress was pleasant explained the menu well. Other diners seemed to be enjoying tempura which looked good. I would eat here again but would order something different next time.

Love Love Love this place. We just moved to Galicia and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant after shopping at El Corte Ingles in Santiago. What a find. Great food, lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff. We felt like we were back home in Seattle. We will take all our friends visiting from the US here. A must stop when visiting Santiago. de Compostela. A delicious way to spend a long lunch or to end a day of shopping.

Mercado Boanerges was a great descovery of our vacation in Santiago de Compostela. Not a typical “mercado”, but a very cool & modern place with amazing reinterpreted traditional galician cuisine. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious food, to everyone’s taste. The staff is super attentive and friendly, always making sure that the customers are happy. Don’t miss out on the terrace from the 1st floor and order one of their amazing cocktails; the bartender is happy to help you pick the perfect one for you. Great experience overall, perfect for lunch, dinner or drinks. Would totally recommend it!

We love food and I must say it would be one of the unforgetable restaurant for a while. The restaurant itself have a very tasteful modern touch with a tint of influence of Asian favours but yet remain true to it's Galician roots.the concept is unique and refreshing . Selections of food is not wide ( at the market restaurant) but quality is beyond amazing and excellent wine selections are available for reasonable price. I am very impressed with service of all the staff. The waitress are all very well presented and knows the food and wine well. We were given a warm welcome despite arriving late and pass 11pm. Once again we apologies for been late and thanks for the patience. We contacted the restaurant via Google messenger and was promptly replied to and assured us a place in no time. A place we will definitely visit again when in Santiago. Thank you Manuel and staff once again for the great service and food.

Best restaurant in town (try the bonito or the pulpo!) Conveniently located next to the Corte del Ingles (enough free parking) I recommend warmly, not only for the excellent food but also for the great interior and terrace!

Being a Coeliac (110% Gluten Free) & not feeling like meat today (as you do) unfortunately my dining options were quite limited. Avoid the 'Nachos' at all cost, as it was just way too dry!! Not sure if the white stuff was cheese? People like moist Nachos Chef. Moist. Maybe try adding on lots of: Salsa, avocado, Bolognese sauce & cheese next time.

A delightful experience with fantastic food! The hostess, Delores, was the most gracious and helpful, especially for me with my gluten and dairy allergy. Our group of 4 ordered the nachos with cheese, marinated pork loin with potatoes, Iberian ham board, and the baked scallops with garlic.

This place is really amazing. The atmosphere is so relaxed and with good music in background. The food feels with very good quality and very taste. The time that we wait until the food was on our table was really short and the waiters are very kindly also the responsable Dolores is very attentive and friendly. My daughter, my wife and me are going to repeat for sure

Dolores was very kind and warm. There was a lot of choice of food on the menu and she helped us pick. We had a lovely burrata salad and some squid. The place is quite big and a bit quiet on a thursday night.
