First class front desk, beautifully appointed room with a great view of the central park and surrounding shops, very professional staff, excellent room service. Overall professionals who work very well together to make your stay as comfortable as possible!

I stayed at the Carlos V for 3 nights. They told me breakfast was included in my rolm rate, but I was charged 100 pesos for 2 scrambled eggs. So, watch out - if you request anything other than the breads and fruit on the breakfast buffet spread, you will probably be charged extra. No menu is displayed with the prices, so you just have to be surprised when presented with the bill. The front desk staff is great! Just not much communication between them amd the breakfast staff, nor between breakfast staff and guests, as the waiter told me they lowered the price of the eggs at breakfast, but this information was not confirmed with the front desk staff. The pool and gym are beautiful - great atmospheres for a nice swim and workout. I wouldn't order room service again. The margherita pizza was not made with quality ingredients. Sound proofing in the rooms could be better. Each night going back to my room I could hear some exciting activities from other rooms :o The hotel entrance has a general smell of cigarettes, but as soon as you get to the elevators, it's fine.

Best hotel in Town, nice staff and very eager to assist passengers, plus the food is good!
