great place to enjoy a tasty lunch, for a decent price. scarce parking on property, but ample on street space. check online menu before arriving for quicker service.

Contemporary café just off the main road in Santiago. Perfect for a pit stop while driving down the Pan American highway. The service was prompt and incredibly friendly, there was a nice selection of food, and the pasta dishes were sizable and delicious. The coffee was quite good as well, and I highly recommend their flavored lemonades. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a great experience dining at Central Cafe. With multiple choices, but not too many to focus on quality. As an entrance we ordered Yuca bites fill with curry and montaditos de Patacones, which is basically fried plantain with pork on the top, it has a BBQ sauce and a bone marrow flavor that are incredible. Main dish#1 a Club Sandwhich, where the best part is the soft bread that even with being soft doesnt fall appart with the juices inside. Main dissh#2 was a chicken curry with Brocolli. It was really creamy and the rice was moist and perfectly cooked. A little bit salty, tho. Overall a great experience I will recommend to anybody visiting Santiago.

Perfect place, we come there with doggies and We got perfect treatment. They bring water for doggies and show us all the vegan food on menu. There was lot of vegan stuff and they could also change other recipes to be vegan. Great place for Vegans ❤️. The pictures of food are after we ate half of it. It look nicer when served and it was so tasty so I made pictures after anyway so I can leave good reviews. Definitely recommend.

Very tasty food and friendly staff. The place is well decorated and the toilets were clean. Just a warning for the espresso that had a slightly burned taste. Probably just a small mistake...

Cost benefit is one of my favorite restaurants when I'm on the road. service is relatively fast so you should be able to continue your journey. Would recommend the different sandwiches.

Nice clean cafe with friendly service. They had pretty good vegan option. They make all their baked goods in-house and they are all delicious especially their mamallena. Hard to believe it's vegan.

Simply THE BEST food I've had in Panama after living here for several months and traveling throughout the country. Garbanzo salad was very fresh, club sandwich with fries was tasty, and the strawberry smoothie was one of the best I've ever had. 5 solid stars for this place, hoping they open a location in la Ciudad!

We had great expectations when we came into this nice-looking café. The service was okay, and the appetizers were great, but the main dishes were quite disappointing. It is very expensive, like city-type expensive. Even in tourist places we can get better prices. If the price/ relationship was proportional, but the Mac and Cheese and burger we ordered were under par. Flavorless. Furthermore, the bathroom was broken. Would not return.

A recent 1-star review kept us away for a while, but we finally decided to give Central Cafe a try. I’m glad we did! I enjoy the ambiance of this place. It is very pretty inside. All of the servers were polite and helpful. We ordered the mac and cheese, which was our favorite dish of all. So delicious. We also tried the Tex-Mex wrap, deditos de pollo, and La Cuadra. They were all solidly good, though not outstanding. We would definitely go back.

This is a pet friendly restaurant in Santiago. Anyone traveling from the city to Chiriqui or Bocas del Toro might enjoy stopping in a real restaurant rather than fast food. While they are pet friendly the restaurant feels a bit small to be there with dogs, I would look for a different alternative if traveling with dogs in the future. I had the club sandwich which was a bit strange. For full disclosure I get a bad feeling whenever I am served food overly drizzled with sauces. This had a sweet sauce on it that while it wasn't bad it wasn't great. Unlike other club sandwiches this has egg on it which I didn't enjoy I would stop there again without pets and have something other than the club sandwich.

The location is nice, but the service is really slow. We got our food after 30mins. I got a quinoa salad and a passion fruit juice.

Great staff, great service, and great food ! Lunch here today Apr 10/22. We don’t speak Spanish but used our Google translate to read the menu. Burrito and Buffalo Chicken Burger were excellent. Thank you Central Cafe from your Canadian customers !
