Very nice small hotel, located in the beautiful colonial area of santo domingo. The room is big with a huge bed. The hotel also has a jacuzzi and the breakfast is good

Nice little hotel in the center of Santo Domingo, cozy and cute. Clean and tidy, high quality bed sheets, very comfortable. The staff is friendly, we were received nicely. The only thing keeping me from giving 4 stars was the breakfast, it was very small, no fruit, just coffee, juicy, bread and egg. I would have expected at least some fruit being in a tropical island. For the price it could step it up a bit. Had to go out and find something to complete the breakfast.

The place is very nice, clean and the staff is available. We could walk easily to the Conde street and to the Colombus plaza and to a supermarket close by.

No window in most rooms, no hot water. A terrible experience. They offered a refund but said they could not process it as it was the weekend. Now they claim they never offered a refund. I had to go to a different hotel in Parque Colón to get a shower and the staff and rooms were wonderful. Stay elsewhere, the city has plenty to offer. UPDATE: I paid 90 USD for a windowless room, sorry for thinking your hotel provided adequate rooms. There was no hot water for the WHOLE OF MY STAY, please do not make things up. Your response just adds insult to injury

Staff was wonderfull and the house itself is amazing and really beutifull. We had an early flight and staff let us wait inside until our check in was available. and we got checked in well before the official time. Highly recomend this bed and breakfast!

Awesome service and beautifully redecorated colonial house into this cozy hotel. Rooms can be small but for the location, decor and price it's totally perfect

WHAT A GEM!!! such a nice small hotel. very stylish. super comfy bed and sheets, awesome spacious bathroom. we just loved it. we had a late check out. breakfast was good. everyone very friendly. good location. felt safe and comfy. a big yes to this hotel!

The hotel and location are great, however we did have an issue. My fiancé and I stayed there from 9/01 - 9/04. WE checked in around 4 PM on 9/01. As soon as we got the room we checked it, the bed was full of hair and when we pulled the covers the bedsheets had random blood stains and the duvet was also stained. We reported said issue however the house keeper was gone for the day. So we tried to clean the bed as best we could, bought disinfectant spray and covered the pillows with T-shirts. The next day we once again reported the issue to the manager. She quickly spoke with the house keeping staff and the sheets were changed and the room cleaned. The manager mentioned a discount due to the inconvenience. Said discount has yet to be received.

We just came back from our holiday. Location is good. The hotel/room is very clean. Helpfull staff and a good breakfast to start your day with.

Great location! AC, Cable TV, bathtub, and a small pool in the courtyard. We spent extra for an on-site breakfast (toast, eggs, coffee, juice) and it was just perfect. Walking distance from every attraction in Santo Domingo, including a grocery store 2 blocks away. Friendly staff and very very safe. Thanks everyone!

Called in for lunch, food was good service excellent, it was very clean.

As soon as I entered the lobby I was greeted by a nice hostess whose name is Raymond. He showed me all the facilities and I was very pleased when he opened my room door (Don Juan) and I saw the beautiful bed, the nice bathtub, and the very spacious room with a nice balcony. The next morning, I had the pleasure to meet Santa who made me an excellent breakfast ( eggs fried in water). It was a simply but tasty breakfast. In general, the Colonial 154 is a nice place to stay for business, vacations or just a getaway. Thank you Raymond and Santa I will see you again soon!!!

We stopped here for lunch as part of our city tour. Food was good enjoyable
