Great restaurant and experience to enjoy a tasteful and innovative menu. Service attention is on point and the availability of a creative drinks menu complements the indoor and outdoor seating options. Ambiance is great and I recommend octopus plates and deserts for sure. Will go again. Enjoy.

Wow!! Highly recommended! Had a remarkable experience at Ajuala!! Must visit if you are in Santo Domingo. Perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner and or even enjoy with family. The food was not expensive compared to its quality. Everything in the restaurant was just perfect from the service to the food. The atmosphere is splendid.

Amazing service. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food is creative, flavorful and beautifully plated. The flavors are well balanced, an achievement considering the number of ingredients they're using for each dish. The experience felt upscale and elegant, yet very relaxed.

If you want fine, gourmet dining in the Dominican Republic this is your place. The food is out of this world. The drinks are amazing. It is an eclectic and decadent experience. Highly, highly recommend it!

What an amazing experience! We went for the Restaurant Week event, and chose the Earth and Fire Menu. Our experience was just impeccable. It was a five course menu. We started off with a ceviche with toasted corn and sweet potatoes, just the exact amount of sweet and crunch. Then we had ravioli filled with frog legs, wild berries sorbet, steak and yuca mash. The dessert was a mango tartine with lemon with mango ice cream on top. My drink was a "Pa que te pique". It was a good portion that lasted for the entire dinner. A little bit too spicy for my taste, but it was exactly as described on the menu. We were a party of 3 and we were all very pleased. It exceeded our expectations completely. The service is great. You can definitely tell that the staff is well aware of every single detail from the drinks, to the food menu and anything you can think of

I had a wonderful lunch at Ajuala. Our server, Alvaro, is a great asset for the restaurant. His suggestions of carrot soup (and I am not crazy about carrots!) and the heart of palm and ceviche salad were incredible. My dining partner is a wine aficionado and Ajuala's wine list is the most extensive he's seen in Santo Domingo. The food, decor and design meld into one amazing dining experience that should not be missed. Along with professional and attentive staff, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food. True Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 experience. The host was amazing. The food was extraordinary and the wine exquisite. Hope the have the Blush Rum for desert. The woman that makes it, knows rum! Atmosphere is earthly, tranquil and inviting. Definitely stop in for an amazing experience for your taste buds!!!

What a fantastic find here in n Santo Domingo. We were warmily welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. And the staff was great and attentive even though we were ugly Americans who insisted on speaking English. The food, apps and drinks were fantastic. Try the lobster ceviche

The tasting menu with wine pairing was the best meal we’ve had in the Dominican Republic in 8 visits over the past two years. The Nebbiolo was a revelation, and the cheese pansotti with beef reduction was the ultimate flex. Superb service, good pacing, beautiful setting, fair price. Can’t recommend Ajualä highly enough.

Ajuala is hands down the best restaurant in Santo Domingo. The food quality and imagination of the chef were exceptional and the service was impeccable. The wine list is extensive and very well curated. Highly recommend!

Great food and service. Menu was so creative and fun. The chef steps out and explains what you are about to eat so you can have a better experience. The staff was so knowleadgeable and professional as well! Everything we ordered was so tasteful, would definitely recommend.

There was a lot of hype about this place and had been on the list of places we wanted to visit for quite some time now. Worth mention the originality, indeed an experience. The menu is displayed in an unique kinda way is hard to explain, like the main course has one fix price for like six or seven options. I'm led to believe that they are big on appetizers, since there's two options for a large group. Sadly I was on a diet so I couldn't go crazy 🤪 with tasting things, the beef was incredible and I also had some tuna, based on cheese moments that had others they were not blown away. In all honesty need to visit a second time and try other stuff. Negative experience no prices on some menu you could end up going over budget easily, waiters were pushing down your throat the wine and other drinks so you could go onto the next bottle. Not cool! We were a group and a policy they have that makes not sense is that they don't split the bill, so was a pain to divide.

Ajuala is not a restaurant, it’s a culinary experience. Chef Saverio offers creative and absolutely delicious food that combine Caribbean, Southamerican and Italian gastronomic heritage. I recommend you leave behind everything you think you know about some ingredients because you will be blown away by how our most traditional and simple products in the region can create exquisite dishes.

When you see the beautiful and impressive front door of the restaurant, you can never predict how cozy, intimate and absolutely stunning is Ajuala on the inside. Besides it's beautiful decoration and one-of-a-kind ceiling, the entire staff was great and extremely helpful, and the food was unforgettable. Their menu had both a la carte options and three different tasting menu options. I went for the tasting menu with meat options and my boyfriend ordered from the menu. We enjoyed every single bite! We ordered some champagne, which came in the ideal temperature and appropriate glasses, and were even surprised by a birthday cake for my boyfriend, which was not only beautiful and delicious but quite unexpected, since I only mentioned it once. If you're going there at night, don't be afraid to order whatever you feel like, since the food is marvelous but also quite light, doesn't make you leave so full. I went to a lot of places in Santo Domingo, but this one is definitely one of the very lucky few that I am definitely coming back again and again!
