Stopped by during our bar hopping this Saturday. Marlowe is super friendly, nice and welcoming! Gave us a tour and made us amazing drinks. Felt like we were at home right away! Initially we were the only guests because we came right when he opened. After strolling around Zona colonial we came back and place was popping! So many cute boys there ;) They’ve got a main bar area where you can socialize and listen to the music (I’ve also been trying to convince my bf to dance on the bar shirtless 😂😂😂), then you can have a smoke on the patio, also there’s lounge with comfy sofas and as a super nice bonus - the dark room 😈😈😈 We are moving to the area soon and definitely plan on being regulars!

Marlowe must have a lot of friends because that place it’s RATCHET!! and GHETTO!! same as their clientele. They need to invite more Latinos and good looking guys so people can have the Dominican experience that will also reflect in the drinks. Skip this tourist trap.

I went this past June with a group of friends to celebrate his birthday. Marlowe's bar was one of the highlights of our visits! We had an AMAZING time! Marlowe was extremely nice and very welcoming. The hosts provided service with a smile. This has become my go-to spot.

We took an overnight excursion from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo. We found this little bar while walking the town. Went inside and Marlow greeted us warmly. They had just opened so we had a quick drink, left for dinner and decided to go back later. When we arrived back the place was jumping. We had so much fun we stayed until 1:30 am. We are planning a trip next year to Ounta Cana In March. We are flying into Santo Domingo for a two day visit . Then off to Punta Cana. We will definitely be spending time at Marlowe’s. Looking forward to going back!

Great, new, stylish gay bar, right in the center of Santa Domingo. Friendly and fun owner, and bartenders. Reasonable drink prices, with occassional strip shows. Check it out!

Marlowe's is a phenomenal place for gay men to enjoy great drinks and good music in Santo Domingo! The owner is welcoming and the staff members are helpful! A relaxed setting for locals and travelers to meet....We will definitely be coming back soon!

This places is very small, most of the Dominican boys that come are hustlers. Dirty bathroom, very low class clientele. Hosting barbecue in the back. Horrible experience. Thinks twice before going in.

My husband and I visited Santo Domingo for one of our friend’s birthday and decided to come to Marlowe’s, and let’s just say this is the place to be!!! Marlowe himself was very friendly and nice to us made us feel right at home. We will definitely becoming back when we return to the DR.

Marlowe is very friendly. We weren’t the only English speakers there. Seedy out back where the hustlers are but fun in the bar. Most importantly they don’t have a credit card machine so you pay via Zelle or with cash (any currency, they’ll give change in Dominican Pesos). Fun time! Wish they had better tequila.

First off Marlowe is wonderful, so nice and welcoming. Gave me a tour of bar area and explained the ins and outs of the layout. Air conditioning is great on a hot summers day. You can order specialty drinks from menu or well drinks, beer, wine, soda. This bar is men only, for men only fun. This is the place to be low key, relaxed, chill and find a Dominican man for the moment or your stay in SD.
