First…the traffic! It is very difficult to get to this harbor because of the terrible traffic here, so be sure that you leave earlier than usual to get here for your boat. Also, many taxis will not enter the harbor area because of the traffic snarl, so be prepared to get out and walk a few hundred meters from the main road if you need to. The harbor has two sides, one for smaller boats with no docks that require you to wade into the water to board your boat, and another side with docks and a terminal for larger boats. The terminal is fairly new with large waiting areas, restrooms, and posted boat schedules. There are some viewing decks on the outside, also. There are fairly large parking areas where you can park for a fee, and several stores, coffee shops, and warungs where you can get a snack.

Sanur Harbour is very busy if you are travelling by ferry. You have to make sure: 1. You have to check-in with the ferry company that you booked the tickets from (30 -45 mins prior to departure). 2. You will be given a lanyard to wear which shows the staff which ferry you are getting on 3. There is a ‘Departure’ tax, has to be paid in cash & cost 10,000 Rp per person 4. Your big suitcase or backpack will be stored safely on the ferry 5. If your trip is long eg Gili Trewangan island (4hrs), take water, snacks etc. with you 6. The ferry staff sell Bintang on board 😊 7. If you have mobility issues, the staff will help you to step down on to the ferry, without falling in the water

Very busy, allot of traffic to drive or ride down, plan accordingly. Get to gate and wait 30 to 45 mins for the boat, come in early. Try buying online or else you will have to talk to someone and my rip you in the process. Inside the waiting area very clean, spacious & cool. long walks.

The port are suitable and already iconic.. the only drawback was there is no online taxi.. so the price are not transparent even for local. This port are so good that the current road cannot support the crowd.. need more work in the road management or event build new road to make port access easier.. thats all..

Newly built harbour, quite modern. Clean but not enough to accommodate all the passengers whose taking ferry. Too many people waiting for the ferry the same time. Since it’s new, just give them more time for the improvement

Come here to go to Nusa Penida island. We can see the sunrise also from this harbour, the infrastructure is good & clean.

New Sanur Harbour officially opened last year by President Jokowi. Make sure you have your ticket printed (QR Code) before entering to make sure boarding process goes smoothly. Be careful of slippery floors especially during rainy season.

A very nice harbour with a beautiful view of sunrise (because its near sunrise beach). I use the travelling agent service to buy a ticket here to Nusa Penida. The harbour first boat departure is from 7.00 AM but make sure to arrive at the harbour at least 30 minutes before departure time.

This is the Harbour to go if you wanna visit Nusa Penida. The queue was quite long but it moved pretty fast.

Very new and clean port. But very crowded, make sure to come earlier in time. If you want to take online taxi from the port, you have to walk out a distance, they are not allowed to come in. But there are a lot of taxi around, price seem reasonable.

The new sanur harbour just really good. Good ticketing, no more wait too long, and very orderly than before. And the speed boat on time with the schedule. And we don't need to get wet when we want to get on a boat now!
