Wonderful beach. It has many restaurants, cafes, bars and others to choose from along the beach. The beach is fairly clean for the most part, but be warned many corals and sharp rocks at some parts. Went here for sunrise once, it was absolutely stunning, you can spot Mount agung at certain times.

It’s going a bit busy during the weekend but if you managed to come earlier (around 6AM) you’ll have such a great views along the beach, from Pantai Karang to Mertasari. There’s a bike and e bike rental if you don’t want to walk, but it’s better just have a slow walk around the area and enjoy the views. Don’t forget to get some Lumpia!

One of the beautiful beaches in Bali. On this beach we can watch the beautiful sunrise. Along the beach there are also many food and drink shops. In one area there are many cafes and restaurants. So that all social levels of society can visit this beach. There is also a turtle conservation area here. On this beach there is a departure pier to Nusa Penida Island, a famous turtle conservation place in Bali. Interesting place!

Personally speaking, Sanur is great for families, and that's why so many Balinese locals and expats like to come to the beach here. Calm sea waves and shallow water make it an ideal place for kids to swim, and there's a fantastic breeze in the summer months (May through August). Reflection: If you are interested in immersing yourself in Balinese culture, exploring ancient temples, and indulging in art and wellness activities, Ubud would be an ideal choice. On the other hand, if you are more inclined towards beach relaxation, water activities, and a laid-back atmosphere, Sanur would be more suitable.

It's very rustic and beautiful. Unlike Singapore, we have beautiful hawkers and restaurants along the stretch.

We found this beach to be SO much better than dirty, trash littered Seminyak. Very quiet, long stretch of well maintained boardwalk. Lots of restaurants and lounges as well. We saw lots of small birds, dragonflies and crabs. Family friendly and plenty of activity rentals such biking, electric scooter, canoe & paddle boarding at an affordable cost.

Sanur Beach is one of the most kid-friendly beaches in Bali. Lots of activities that you can do, play on the beach, bike, run (there is a jogging track). There are lots of spots to take photos of, and lots of boats (because it's near to the port). One of the recommended places to see the sunrise. Very recommended beach!

This is a very family oriented beach, with a boardwalk filled with resorts and restaurants. The beach itself is nice, and good to swim if you go to a spot without boats. They have many activities along the beach such as beach volleyball, turtle nesting sites, massages, and lounge areas. If you are coming from Canggu, traffic can get really heavy! Coming by scooter is way faster!!

Had a great time at the beach. Plenty of protected areas to swim in, plus some nice lounge chairs you can rent. We also enjoyed a nice outdoor restaurant there

Sanur beach is full of sharp corals but if you just walk a few minutes to Sindhu beach, it has very clear waters and soft sand

Less crowded during weekday. Not too many activities though. Good for walking and enjoy the sea views. Since it is east facing, you can enjoy sunrise here in the morning.

sanur beach is located in south denpasar, apart from enjoying the beautiful sunrise we can also play canoeing at a price of 20k. after tired of playing there they also sell traditional food, namely spring rolls. easy parking and road access and only pay parking of 2k for motorbikes. takes about 30 minutes from the city

Total local feel on this beachwalk daily, but a 7am Sunday walk is something incredible. At this early time of the morning the number of Balinese families, youth, and friends, walking, cycling, dog walking, sitting on the beach, swimming etc is AMAZING! No sleeping in here. Lots of foreigners as well so the walkway on a Sunday morning is a feat of patience dodging and darting around all the people.

Sanur Beach is a popular destination for tourists who want to experience the natural beauty of this island. We only need to pay for parking for 5 thousand rupiahs to enjoy the beauty of Sanur beach. This beach is known for its stunning sunrise views, which are a great start to the day. Crystal clear waters and white sand make for a scenic view that's hard to beat. Cycling along the waterfront is a great way to take in the views and get some exercise, if you want to rent a bcycle you only need to pay ten thousand rupiahs until fifteen thousand rupiahs. The calm waves also make us want to play canoeing. The beach is well-maintained, with staff regularly cleaning the sand and picking up any trash to keep the area looking pristine. The beach itself is clean and well-maintained with a long stretch of white sand which is perfect for relaxing or swimming in the ocean. There are also many restaurants, cafes and bars in the area, offering a wide variety of food and drink options.

One of my favorite beaches in Bali. I love the sunrises and sunsets. Beautiful beach for swimming and walking on the shore.

I came here to take some beautiful and captivating sunrise scenery in Sanur beach, and take some silhouette best picture, so i go in dawn till sunrise is coming, and i walk around the beach to see many people activities in morning, such a good day. There are many food stall and transport boats service to Nusa penida island stall around here. Maybe next time i will go with my family via Sanur Beach to Nusa Penida island.

Beautiful sunset if you’re lucky with cloud condition. Sand, especially near the land side, can contain many small sharp pieces of trash so not the nicest to walk on bare footed. Sand is small and fine otherwise which is nice. I personally think Canggu beach has better sunset.

Relaxed beaches, not too busy, many places to cool down, looks like middle age tourists zone.

Very developed now compared to 2017. Many sitting spots. People seem to enjoy themselves here which makes such a good vibe. Downside: stray dogs. I was sitting when a dog started to bark at me randomly n aggressively. I moved right away. Jeez. Many cafes along the beach. You can also rent a motorboat. There are fishermen n their boats within the scenery. You can move to another spot if u bother ✌🏻 Lastly, I bought one scoop of chocolate ice cream from a stall just beside the sidewalk. It tasted heavenly. 30k / scoop. If you like my shots and review, checkout my Instagram @ameliakrali

A very calm beach that is an easy swim for those looking to avoid waves. In one of the older resort areas in Bali, there are countless shops and restaurants on the road just off the beach. Recommended for those looking for a more relaxed area of Bali frequented by families and those who are older.

👍 First…the traffic! It is very difficult to get to this harbor because of the terrible traffic here, so be sure that you leave earlier than usual to get here for your boat. Also, many taxis will not enter the harbor area because of the traffic snarl, so be prepared to get out and walk a few hundred m...

👍👍 This comment is not rated for the Mola Mola Express Boat.
