From start to finish this was a very happy, memorable day on the water. Our guides Toto and Made were so helpful and happy. They made us feel very safe both diving and snorkeling. All of the crew couldn’t do enough for us - even removing our flippers in the water, keeping us laughing with magic tricks and taking fantastic underwater photos and videos of us. There is plastic and jellyfish at manta bay but this didn’t detract from an amazing time in the ocean swimming with 10+ beautiful big rays and friendly turtles. Couldn’t recommend more.

I signed up for a Nusa Penida day trip with 3 dives approx 3 days beforehand. Had a little trouble making the 50% deposit as my credit card added extra fees to their payment platform's fees, but apart from that communication was quick and easy via emails and WhatsApp. Free transfer to and from my Sanur hotel was included, and paperwork at the dive shop was very thorough. Nico recommended we take anti-nausea meds before the boat ride over as waves were pretty big, and he didn't want us having to bail on a dive because we felt unwell. He kindly provided those of us who wanted to take his advice with a tablet. I was super happy to end up in a group with 3 other Advanced open water experienced divers with a good guide who provided very thorough briefings prior to each dive. He was quick to spot mantas and turtles in the distance so that we could enjoy watching them, and even found a shark hiding in the reef. I felt very safe diving with him despite the swell and current, and me not having been diving in similar conditions in a while. The fast boat had two excellent drivers who were able to handle the waves with ease. Drinks, snacks, and lunch were fabulous - best dive lunch I had in 6 days diving. Towels were also provided, and though I brought my own 3mm wetsuit, I was given an additional 3mm shorty and hood to add on top as I get cold easily. I definitely needed those! Nusa Penida sites were much more crowded than where I had been diving in Tulamben and Pemuteran/Menjangan, but we didn't have trouble sticking with our guide and avoiding some of the crowds. Only downside was that we didn't get lucky enough to see the elusive Mola Mola! I would definitely dive with this team again.

Absolutely perfect! The pre trip responses were prompt and totally informative and accurate. The crew was professional and fun. The rental gear is high quality and maintained. Great prices and pristine dive locations. We spent a week diving with these guys and loved it!

I had the SSI open water diving course with Nico Dives Cool and it was a great experience! My instructor was Frenkie. He is a great teacher and really knows a lot about diving and all the marine life which made it an even better experience. My wife would join one day to go snorkling and the crew of Nico made her feel so comfortable that she dare to take a scuba diving test dive. Although she was really nervous at first the instructor managed to make her relax and gave an unforgettable experience. If you go dive in Bali make sure to go to Nico! You guys rock :)

I also initially looked at the reviews and proved it myself, Nico Dive center is the best, all the information you need will be explained well, the equipment is high quality, Nico and the entire team are friendly, fun and always prioritize your safety and comfort, making us like family. Mr. Toto with his magic, be careful you're gonna be amazed, haha and Mr. Mitha.. Yes, my instructor was very good, taught me patiently and clearly. Also good photos and videos. So, in my opinion you don't need to hesitate to choose Nico Dives Cool, Cause this Dive Center is really Cool !

I am Open water certified but not a regular diver and my daughter was doing her exploratory dives. So we wanted someone who was patient and could give us the confidence to enjoy the diving. Nico was super responsive with his emails and that's always a good thing. We went through pros and cons of the locations and went with Tulamben - the site of the USAT Liberty shipwreck. I had Eltoro as my instructor and my daughter was guided by Mitha. Super patient, efficient and we had a fantastic time. They also had a gopro and we got some incredible pictures and videos to remember the dive with. I have been with about 8-10 diving companies and Nico is definitely the best so far. My daughter enjoyed the dives so mucn we are back in the summers for her open water certification with Nico!! Can't go wrong with Nico and his crew. They are amazing...

I can't speak highly enough of the Nico Dives Cool team-- they were prompt, professional, and accommodating from start to finish! Melly from the NDC team was always quick to respond to emails and very clear about pricing and what to expect at each dive site. They were very flexible in accommodating me and my boyfriend's schedules and levels of diving. We did seven dives total over three days (Padang Bai, Nusa Penida, and Tulamben), our guide Made helped us feel comfortable and safe with each dive and helped us improve our diving skills over the course of three days. Got to see all sorts of amazing creatures while diving-- sea turtles, nudibranches, mantas, clams, and all sorts of fish 🐟🐠🐡 Thank you NDC team for such a wonderful and unforgettable experience! PS: don't skip the snack cakes the team brings on dives, they're awesome and you will need the carbs for diving anyways.

I just completed my Open Water certification with Nico and could not have made a better choice in Bali! Thank you so much for everything! I had difficulties with 1 specific exercise, and Nico went above and beyond, giving me so much of his time to feel comfortable, secure, and finally, pass! My boyfriend came with us for my last dive and the experience was incredible. We will definitely return and maybe dive with other guides who are super nice as well! Fully recommend.

I started my experience with NDC through the recommendation of a friend who is getting his dive master cert through Nico. I had never been diving before so I did a basic diver course and did a discovery dive with them to see how I would like it. I enjoyed the dives I did with his instructor Vivi so much that I decided that I would complete my open water course with Nico the next week. I had a great time getting certified and everyone on his team made me feel very welcome and comfortable in the water. It was a great foray into the world of diving and I’m glad NDC was able to give me such a positive experience and introduce me to a brand new activity that I immediately fell in love with! It was my first time diving with Nico Dives Cool and ended up doing 3 dive days - Tulamben, Padang Bai, and Nusa Penida. It came highly recommended by friends and my experience totally lived up to what I had read from the reviews…. I fully enjoyed my experience from start to end. Our hotel pick-ups were always punctual, actually even 5 mins early; Handy, our driver, was super friendly and fun. The dive equipment was in great condition and felt new. We were all well looked after and I felt comfortable, safe, and in good hands - which is especially important given I’m not a frequent diver and my last dive was more than 3 years ago! A big shout-out to Magic Toto, who was entertaining both on land and underwater…had to try not to laugh out loud when Toto was doing his magic tricks underwater so that I don’t spit out my regulator 🤣. Also big thank you to helpful Husen, friendly Moko, funny Mita, awesome Rudi, and the rest of Nico’s fabulous Dive team who took so great care of me. Highly recommend Nico Dives Cool if you are looking to do dives in Bali! I will be back for more.

I just had the most amazing experience diving for the first time with the team from Nico Dives Cool! I have never dived before but was supported all the way by an experienced dive instructor who took time before the dive ensuring I understood all the essentials and stayed by my side the entire dive to ensure I was safe and getting the most out of the dive. It was such a fantastic experience!!! My partner (an experienced diver) and I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering diving in Bali - they are professional, safety conscious, friendly, supportive and lots of fun! 10/10 experience getting my PADI OPEN WATER license with Nico Dives Cool. I tried learning once a few months ago but struggled massively with feeling anxious in the water and not being able to clear certain skills. Tried again this time and was lucky to be assigned Pak Toto, an A* instructor who was patient and encouraging throughout. In the open water on my first 2 dives, I almost wanted to give up but he helped me push through. The last 2 dives as part of the course, the anxiety melted away and I had a blast - can’t wait to be back in the open waters and Nico Dives Cool will absolutely be my dive centre of choice! By the way, Pak Toto is also a magician so he performed magic tricks both on shore and even UNDERWATER during the course. Everything was impeccable from the equipment to the rest of the crew. Thank you Nico Dives Cool!!!

One of the best dive experiences I’ve ever had! The whole crew was knowledgeable, focused on safety, and a lot of fun. We were lucky to see a lot of wildlife, lunch was standard Indonesian and delicious. Plenty of snacks, drinks and entertainment on the boat. Photos available for an additional charge (well worth it), don’t forget to tip!!! 10/10 highly recommend. I will be back!

This is my second time diving with Nico Dives Bali. This time, I took 3 days dive trips to Padang Bay, Tulamben and Nusa Penida. Cool and excellent trip and services. They have new equipments and try their best to cater to your needs. Lunch was great to my taste and they provided some additional snacks. My guide was Eltoro and ohmai he takes good photos and videos. Eltoro knows how and where to find all those underwater creatures . I saw so many creatures I have never seen before . Great trips and excellent services. Definitely coming back for another dive trips with Nico Dives Cool!

Fantastic experience, all the instructors are skilled and the equipment is good. Me and my girlfriend had three day trips of diving with them, all were very good. On one day the rest of the family went snorkelling, they were also very happy. The experience was definitely worth the money, the crew are good at adapting to everyone's needs and skills. They will also make sure that you smile. We had both Eltoro and Toto as instructors. Toto is, as you read in the other reviews, a funny and clever magician, who is skilled at what he does. We had Eltoro for 2/3 of the days, and we were very happy with him. He does what he can to ensure that you have a good time, and you don't have to stress with anything. He is an incredibly skilled photographer, and does what he can to make sure that you take many memories home with you. Incredibly calm and skilled instructor, who knows the various places very well. Overall, I highly recommend Nico Dives Cool and I'm very glad I didn't choose anyone else!

Made two dives on the Liberty Wreck near Tulamben. Instructor was nice and material was good. A great school and recommended if you are in Bali and want to dive or take a course.
