👍 Still up there as a great option on the beach (sindu beach @ sanur) the nasi goreng is outstanding here definitely around. Hamburgers are delicious really good buns and meat great quality. Very slack on the beetroot though little tiny pieces. They probably ran out and didn't order ahead. Nice sett... People often mention beach, good, staff, friendly, lunch,

Had a nice ice cold bintang and a really nice serve of benno's chips. It was quite relaxing in a comfortable chair under the shade of a tree looking out over the beach. 2023 nothing has changed beer, good fries good scenery appreciated a whole lot more. Adjacent shopping at lotus living at almost end of gang ? Still good option

Ate only once there but in my experience the food was really good, fresh and tasty. Prices were very affordable. About 100 000 rph for main dish, dessert and a soft drink. Might have visited second time if I stayed longer in Sanur.

Glad this small resto survive the hardship of covid. Lived in Bali 2016-2018, Benno's was a placed for weekend hangout on Saturday. It was a weekend ritual. Always chose to seat at the brown sofa in front of beach. Remember one time dinner with a strong wind yet we were still able to enjoy the food. Myself and my daughter could stay to have lunch until dinner. The food was good and the staffs were amazing. Wish can dig in all photos and post it here. What a memorable place indeed for me and my daughter. Will be back to Bali soon and definitetely will visit this place again!

Disappointed. This used to be a "go to" venue for relaxed casual dining - not anymore. It has now been sold, refurbished and caters to a more upmarket clientele. Less on the menu at much higher prices. I visited during the refurbing stage and all the original staff were there assisting and so excited about the future. Unfortunately, nearly all of the old staff have been replaced. So sad for them. This more upmarket approach to the Sanur beachfront is becoming ever more prevalent and in my opinion to the detriment of the Bali experience. While the new theme may appeal to some, sorry it is not for me.

I am so disappointed this is no longer the great bennos that once was. Me and my family spent many a lunch and dinner here over the years. Menu is not family friendly and none of the Bennos charm remains. Gone are the famous family friendly menu and now replaced with what they call Mediterranean cuisine. Service and staff were amazing Unfortunately I will not be returning Bennos menu had Indonesian and Aussie goods that were the best. Call me uncultured but some of the items and ingredients are alien. So disappointed... don't if you expect same as bennos as polar opposites I

Unfortunately, they didn't handle fish well. After dinner there (tuna steak) I got the classic symptoms of scombroid poisoning. It happened if fish was not saved properly. Eat on your own risk!

We used to come to Bennos all the time. Upon return from our COVID induced hiatus we were keen to come again. It now seems to have changed hands and gone upmarket, now calling themselves Moreno Bennos. Looks more upmarket, but now with a much more limited menu. You would think that with a limited menus things would be quicker. However, our meals trickled out over the course of about an hour, with my meal being about 20 mins after the second last meal. This is despite me questioning where it was, and it only being a chicken sandwich. When my meal finally did arrive, the chicken looked like the deli sliced chicken you find in supermarkets, with a small, squashed foccacia roll , plus stall potato crisps ( I have expected Fries) This meal was also at a similar price to what I would get in Australia. Very disappointed, wont be back

We were here just to relax after a walk. We just had drinks. The staff were nice. There are seating indoor and outdoor. We sat outside with a view of the water. The toilet was clean.

We did a 4 km walk from Jl Duyung Sanur towards the east along the beach and stopped at Pantai Sindhu and decided to stop for lunch here. Firstly with it being so quiet it is so easy to make mistakes. Benno's made none. Our lunch had all positives. Probably the most perfect all day breakfast ever for me and Chrissie had Chicken Noodle Salad and a main of Garlic Chilli Chicken. Absolutely yummy she said. Staff very friendly and a great view being on the beach further enhanced our experience. Jaen Gati. Thank you. Pete and Chrissie. Balivilla4u.

If you make your own beef broth and put a handful of msg that’s how flavourful their broth is! I heard their ribs or so called balung will be sold out after 12pm so come quick for their rib...
