I loved it at Celebbest Kuta, but one of the staff members, Gerry, turned out to be very unprofessional. If you go on a trip with him, be careful because even though you paid for an all inclusive trip, Gerry will make sure to exclude you if he does not like you. This man is 30+ years old but acts like a child. He didn’t like one of the guys from our group, so the guy did not get to ride the arranged taxi back to the airport. Straight-up bullying a paying customer. Also, don’t sleep next to him if you’re a guy. Just a warning.

An awesome hostel that I keep coming back to. This is a great place for meeting new people and having a lots of fun. Gerry, Alfret and Harris make you feel welcomed and included as soon as you arrive and give this place it's real family feeling. The hostel has lots of space for chilling out, a pool table and a great swimming pool. The rooms are big and clean with your own balcony and you can walk to the beach in just a few minutes. A few days can easily become a few weeks or even months in this place 😁

Awesome place to stay if you want to surf at kuta beach, because the beach is actually in walking distance. They even provide surf lessons:)

I love this hostel so much ! The kind with a family vibe, really close to the beach. I had the best surf lesson ever with the teacher recommended by the hostel, and also had the best cooking class there! The pool is good and the rooms are clean and big. And I have met so many great people there, love you guys ❤️

Great hostel with free breakfast, great pool and solid wifi. AC isn't bad either and staff is incredibly friendly.

One of the best hostels to stay at here in Bali. The people here are great along with the amazing events organized every so often to ensure a great time. Since I was a paying guest, my review is honest so which is why I can't give full marks due to the actions of a certain individual staff member. So everything was great but I personally can't stand hypocrites. One of the staff member with the permanent surprised look on his face decided to enforce some rules on me not just once from not allowing a visiting "future" guest that was supposed to check in the next day for 5 min, to sitting on someone's bed. The problem isn't enforcing the rules itself but when you knowingly hear and see at the same time someone bringing a guest overnight AND also have someone who had previously stayed but left to visit and use the shower facilities just because he is friends with another staff member but have no problems with that, is that not hypocritical? Also same dude freaked out at me sitting on someone else's bed but he himself sat on my bed and that was ok. He is not a bad dude but chill, just don't do things like that and I pray that little man syndrome never comes back out. I also can't give any credit to the cleaners who do a terrible job and by that, I mean I actually saw the guy sprayed air freshener for 50 seconds and leaving. Credits to Alfret and Gerry though

"The best hostel that I've ever stayed at". This is a bold statement, but what makes it true? First of all, the folks running it. They're uber friendly and fun. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. They're also well connected to help you maximise your time here. The food it mega delicious too. Plus, they cater for vegans and vegetarians. Other things that make this place supreme are: Location: 2 minute walk from the beach and surrounded with trendy cafes and restaurants. Price: ridiculously well priced. Cleanliness: mega clean Superb environment and atmosphere: nice pool, seating areas and amenities. Vibes: this place has a great vibe!

I stayed in the dorm room. Nice and clean room for only 6 people. The beds made quite some squeaky noise when you move. Bathroom is clean. The outside pool is a nice refreshing after a hot walk or some shopping. Free breakfast is only tea, coffee and pancakes but you can get that 24 hours a day in the kitchen. The kitchen is nice to make your own food. Really friendly staff. They also organise surf lessons that where really easy to follow and gets you stand on the board the first lesson.

They have nice pool, songs & atmosphere. They have a rule not to bring shoes inside the room, but the floor is not very clean. It'll be nice if they can change bed sheet more often because I'm allergic to dust mites. Wifi is good, though.

Good place, clean with no bed bug, they have open space on the poolside. They offer unlimited pancake that you can cook by yourself. Only 1 bathroom inside the room, but it spacious. Wifi works pretty well. And the important thing is quite even they located near legian street.

Booked for 2 nights, stayed for 2 weeks! The staff Alfred, Harris and Gary are so so lovely. It’s not a crazy party hostel (although there is the option to go out) Harris was always up for a game of pool and just to have a chill evening if that is more your thing. Gary planned so many trips ranging from 2 day stays to taking us on his motorbike to watch the sunset at a bar. This was an amazing opportunity to see some more of Bali without the expense as he would book a car and everyone would split the cost! (We went to Uluwatu, North Bali and waterfalls - he also runs longer trips to Java etc). He would also sometimes whip up free lunches/dinners if you were hanging around the hostel. It made us feel so welcome like a home away from home! The seating area is right by the entrance so it’s really easy to meet people, also the morning pancakes makes a difference as everyone sits together on one table. It’s cheaper to book directly with the hostel (200k). We were sad to leave!

This place is a must! They have the greatest atmosphere and if you want to meet amazing people this is where you’ll find them. Don’t expect a luxurious stay, the beds are actually awful and the toilets aren’t the best. But the connections you make and fun memories make it totally worth it! Absolutely loved this place and will be coming back to it!

This was an absolutely amazing hostel! Gary and Alfret just made the experience so good. Full of good tips and trips-there was always something going on. There was such a nice vibe at the hostel and it felt like you were part of the family after just a few days! Would highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back !!

Such fun welcoming kind staff! Gary the owner is so funny and fun to be around, great social atmosphere I went here with no intention to make friends and I left with plenty. Right next to the beach and close the the airport it’s the perfect location with vegan food right around the corner. And many other options. They do day trips and take you on adventures no fee for driving you around with them. The kitten Rosa is so cute she is just the cherry on top!

Lovely hostel. Gary was super helpful and even went out for dinner with us one night, can arrange drivers and get you tours for good rates if needed. No hot water as advertised but big pool and chill family vibe 👍👍 I booked direct over WhatsApp

Hands down the best vibes out of every hostel I've stayed in bali. There are some people who move to nearby hostels and end up coming back here to chill because they are often bored where they moved to haha Management really helps in booking excursions and trips. They also provide really good information on whatever you need to know. They even helped me get a Sim card. They have laundry service also which makes it convenient. Saved me time in searching where to laundry. Express service arrives the same day in the evening. Recommended stay for great vibes!

There isn't a rating high enough for this place. The staff are amazing the location is fantastic and this is the cleanest, friendliest place I have ever stayed. The hostel provides free pancakes, tea, coffee and fresh water 24/7 and if that wasn't enough the hostel also provides a meal which they spend the day preparing free of charge to bring everyone together. This is also the best place to book day trips etc as they have the best price and service. Celebbest is the best place that I have stayed, I felt safe and really was home from home. The only struggle I had here during my stay was having to leave however I will be returning. Thank you Celebbest for making my trip a memorable one.

Wow. Best place to stay in Kuta Bali. I've traveled the world for 25 years and this place is amazing. Great people, place, location and facilities. I'll be back and bring friends and family. Super pool in paradise garden right in the center of everything. Clean, comfortable, economical & joyful.

I tried a lot of different guesthouses in kuta, Bali and this one is the best. Cheap prices for dorm, really clean n comfortable. Free pancakes for breakfast and the swimming pool is really nice ! Don't hesitate to go there, people are really kind !

I enjoyed my stay at Celebbest, the free tea, coffee and pancakes is amazing! We also got treated to a free hostel dinner one night. The vibe is super friendly and quite social with people hanging around and playing cards and board games in the evening. The rooms are clean, just some of the mattresses were a little old and tired.
