👍👍 Best Indian food I have ever had. However, it took almost an hour to get our food. But I think the girls there literally were making it from scratch in the back so that’s why. The taste was surely worth the wait. It was exceptional! People often mention good, Indian, chicken, restaurant, ordered, curry, spicy, Bali, order, times,

Service was really good here. The food is fine. The samosas we had for appetizer was really good and the mango chutney was terrific. I had the chicken curry and my girlfriend had the chicken masala. Hers was better. Sauces were pretty good, but the chicken was a bit bland, like it was placed in the sauce to cook quickly rather pressure cooked or slow cooked to get the flavor throughout the meat. If they do that, this could be a better place. Decor was old and not too fancy. Bathrooms not too clean.

If had the choice, would not even give 1 Star.. Been 3 times before, great food, a bit pricy but all in all, we came away with fully satisfied tummys... until now, today... We were the only customers which is surprising, based on supposed popular times being 6pm... we ordered our usual, and asked one of the friendly girls for A Chicken Vindaloo, very spicy please with extra sauce as we found the curries to sometimes be a bit dry.. The food came and started to tuck into the Vindaloo... there was no spice at all, nothing... so we kindly asked one of the girls if we could speak to the person who cooked the dish to explain the minor issue... after a few minutes after seeing heated discussions between staff and who we now know is the supposed owner, Dewi, the woman in question, stomped over to our table and told us it was our fault because we told the chef / cook that we did not want spicy... Clearly their was a communication issue but up to that point and statement, we were absolutely shocked with this womans attitude, her name is Dewi, the Owner! and after a heated blame game, she promptly stormed off! Without even an apology! For us, it was not about the dish after that... it was attitude... She said they were full all the time, so i added photos to this post... make your own mind up, as well as a receipt for over 400,000 IDR the most expensive meal we have had so far with a healthy dose of attitude, rudeness and arrogance! Nice. We will state that the 3 young waitresses were very nice and very apologetic for the owner of the business... we assured them it was not their fault and we left without them losing face and embarissed by the whole episode. Obviously we will not go back, and we actually live in Bali for many years, we are not tourists that get back on a plane and forget... we are in the same service industry. Shame on you. Little India Has Now Become Even Smaller! Goodbye!

Little india ia also a good Indian Food Restaurant You can eat here, they open till little late then other Indian Restaurants, Food is good, their cheff is good for indian food, but they have timings 11.00pm they closed. They are not pure veg. If u are bored with other restaurant you can try this, except this Queen(kuta) is also good option for indian food, you can get tasty food there. But if you are in Ssnur or Near by, you should go to this restaurant for atleast trying for their food.

Ambience was good. Well maintained and the restaurant was appealing Service was bad. We ordered and had to wait for 40 minutes. Food was pathetic. We ordered dosa and we waited for more than 40 minutes. My wife started to scold me after having the dosa since I convinced her to order dosa. It was not prepared with dosa batter instead they did something. We ordered since it was in the menu but that had given us a bitter experience. My recommendation would be not to prefer as we have other Indian restaurant nearby where you can try.

Amazing and delicious! “Don’t judge a book by its cover” might applied to this experience. While strooling around Sanur, a good friend of mine suddenly craving for Indian food and here we are, at Little India. He know quite well about Indian food because he’s been to the country a few times so we trust in his choices of food. I recommend you to order Pulao Rice, Gariio Naan, Chicken Makni (this is the most delicious one!), Aro Goby, and Papadam. All of those delicious food will cost you under IDR 300,000.

We had dinner at this restaurant during our vacation at Bali. We ordered garlic naan, aloo peas kuruma and Gobi peas curry. The naan was soft and good but too much butter on it. They Curries were awesome but less in quantity. Price is nominal and ambience was good

Outstanding Indian food! Complex spicy flavours, freshly made from top ingredients. Has never disappointed us after many visits. The atmosphere is pretty basic, no flash decor here, just great food at reasonable prices! We eat here at least once on every trip to Sanur.

Expensive, when you add rice, naans, drinks + tax etc. Had our curry medium/hot and it was just completely tasteless, ended up ordering some fresh chilli to try and get a bit of flavour, as it was so bland. But in all honesty the Indian food everywhere I've tried in Bali (this is the 5th Indian restaurant we've been to) it's just been the same tasteless food, no herbs and spices, just either bland or full of chilli. Maybe we're spoilt thought, as we are from Birmingham, England and our curries are top notch! Anyway, hope you enjoy if you do go, service is good and staff were nice, just make sure you order it hot if you like flavour! 😊

We ordered dosa and it came out cold and dry. So we sent it back. The second time, it came out slightly warm and dry. Like it’s been made much earlier and reheated. Next day stomach issues from the food as well. Avoid at all costs

(Translated by Google) A pitiful semblance of Indian cuisine !!! I say this because many times and on duty I visited India, and ate in a wide variety of restaurants and canteens. In this restaurant, the food slightly resembles the Indian. (DAL) I was brought without oil, as it is customary to serve properly and traditionally. To (puri) that my wife ordered was a curry sauce, although there should have been coconut. And, and the price tag there did not please us at all, as it is expensive for a delicate cuisine. I do not advise, but this is purely my opinion and you decide what is.

Holidaying in Bali we found this place after wanting a little taste of home (England of all places) away from home. Firstly the food was priced really well. We were able to eat til we were full for the equivalent of £15... bargain! I would highly recommend their butter chicken and the tandoori chicken made on the grill. Food was lovely and the staff were great. Made sure I tipped the waitress. Highly recommend if you like your traditional desi curries.

Fresh hot vegetarian samosas with mint sauce, beautifully textured garlic nan and a fantastic chicken curry served in an earthen small pot - all delicious and served with grace by the young waitress. This simple eatery deserves a wider audience.

Little India was one of the better Indian restaurants pre covid. Dined there many times in the past. suprisingly standard has dropped dramatically. Was extremely disappointed with meals last night. Hope they improve for my next trip to Bali.

Very yummy food,, authentic we enjoy our dish. We had garlic nann, rice pulao, chicken curry and we have to order another tandoori rotti just to finish off our curry as we can’t leave it behind unfinished with this beautiful food made just for us. They’re all fresh cooked.

We love this place, food is super delicious, we tried the chicken murtika bad Malay kofta with peshwari naan ( maybe I did not spelled it correctly but I am very close. Any way really good, just be a little patient, but is worth it. And the owner is super kind. we go to this restaurant regularly and we will keep going.

Decided to visit while on holiday from the UK. It's a nice place, very clean and spacious with big, wide tables so you get lots of space. It was a bit too warm and humid to do the full Monty of poppadoms & pickles, starter and main course with rice and naan so we settled for poppadoms & pickles and a main each with one rice and one naan between two. I ordered tandoori chicken, my partner ordered chicken vindaloo. Tandoori was served as a thigh and a breast and was lovely and well seasoned, vindaloo was a bit of a disappointment apparently. He's an ex-squaddie so vindaloo needs to be seriously spicy (it is a British invention after all). This wasn't, and was heavy on potato and quite light on chicken, which I'm told was rubbery and dry. Gets four stars even though we probably won't call back because the girls serving us and doing all the work were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Worth a visit, but... if you order the vindaloo, or if you want something very spicy, go to the next level and ask for it to be "very spicy" to avoid any disappointment - They will ask you when they take your order, don't be scared!

Service is the worst I have experienced in along time. Waited 30 minutes for drinks, 1 hour for mains. Ordered Rogan Josh, 40 minutes later told they had no lamb. Butter Chicken was inedible. Nann Bread was pizza base. Won't be returning.
