We had a great final meal in Bali at this restaurant. As we were running out of cash, I used my travel credit card to pay (it was the only time we used it in Bali). Unfortunately, a few hours later while we were flying back to Australia someone had tried to use the card fraudulently to buy something online. I have no direct proof that they were responsible, but it seems very likely that someone associated with this restaurant had skimmed our card details. Just a warning. Pay cash, and enjoy this funky little Warung.

No idea why this place is rated so high. Utter disappointment. The reggae music is nice and the presentation was good, but that's it. The meat was extremely chewy, worst pork I've ever had - so bad you could have served me 2 yr old old frozen chicken and I probably couldn't tell the difference. Smallest portion of rice I've ever seen. The sambal (which they charge extra for...that's a first in Indo) was disgusting, bland, and less spicy than a McChicken... It tasted like ketchup mixed with onion juice and vegetable oil. Even though I'm conversational in bahasa Indonesian, the server literally said not a single word to me in any language. At least when I left he smiled at me. Extremely overpriced. They are preying on tourists who don't know what indonesian food should taste like. Maybe their sandwiches are good..I don't know. Would not recommend to anyone I want to remain friends with.

This is our favourite Warung. The guys there were really good. They were polite, the place was clean and tidy. Great ambience about it and the music was a blues/rock theme in the background. We regularly had the Mie Goering and satay Ayam. We shared this and two bintangs each. All up lunch came in around 200/220K ($20-$22 aussie). Love this place and highly recommend it. When in Bali, eat Balinese. You'll love it. Thanks guys

We found this lovely little warung while wandering the back lanes of Sanur and decided to go back for dinner. The staff were welcoming, it was a stunning setting and the food was delicious! I ordered chicken in spicy tomato sauce with vegetables and rice while my partner had pork bumbu bali. Both dishes were tasty and fresh, and together with 2 mojitos and two large Bintang the total came to IDR 275,000 or around AU $30. Great value for a lovely meal...we will be back.
