I go to the beach every morning, nothing make me bored, always sunshine although in rain season, just enjoy every minute you have. Unbelievable place in Bali.

The room was a pure big disaster. I've never seen any hotel room like this. The bathroom has no floor drain, so it will flooded all the time till the clean service come to your room tomorrow. Toilet, sink, and towel are dirty and smells bad. There's only 2 electric plug, under the table and on the bathroom, trust me you can't even plug the electric kettle in a normal way. The breakfast are pretty basic 2010s kinda meals, not much to choose. No complain on the service, just standard. Good thing it's a good and interesting location by the beach, especially in the morning. For that kind of price you can get a lot of much better option. I'll never coming back to this hotel.

Very rundown rooms, mouldy, sewerage smelling bathroom, so moved to room, which was the same without the smell. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast v hit and miss. Linens are very old/stained/raggy. Great, free wifi coverage. Great location, worth $AUD40/night without breakfast, no more.

Spacious room but hot, AC not working, have reported to attendant but have not changed from when we checked in until we checked out. Breakfast lacks variety compared to similar hotels with the same price. Beautiful location but needs management improvement.

We did not stay here but had lunch. One of the dirtiest beach areas in Sanur. Plenty of staff but we were sitting in litter strewn area. Tried to order lunch but had to go and find someone to take our order. Food then took a long time to come. When it arrived there was no eating utensils so had to ask for some. After several minutes they had not arrived so had to get up again and find somebody to get. Eventually we got our cutlery but by then our food was half cold. The food was very ordinary when we did get to eat it. With the number of staff here the service should be excellent and the area clean but the staff were far more interested in standing in a group talking to each other. We live in Sanur and this is by far the worst dining experience we have had. Will never return or recommend.

Convenient stay within walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops and massage services. Clean environment with courteous staff. Room was clean with comfortable bedding, good shower facilities and serviced every day. Hotel looks bit outdated due to Corona effect but comfort is not compromised. Entire staff team is great with special mention goes to staff Ms. Simpen

Right on the beach. Fabulous food at the restaurant. Great service from staff. The rooms are a bit tired, however the beds are comfortable, the shower is great and the air conditioner works well.

I give this rating on the staff and their willingness to help with the issues we had, as well as the price and location being right on the beach. This would have been a grand hotel in its day but is now very tired. But you can’t beat the location for the money you pay. Heaps of great restaurants close by like Shotgun Social and others all along the Sanur beach walk way. If you can get a great deal on the accommodation price it’s worth a stay.

We love the place, room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was testy. Great location. Prices was reasonable for where it is located. Right on the beach. Overall we recommend the place.

This place was definitely at one point top of its game. Mayne 15 years ago. The rooms are outdated and very run Pool was also in good condition but it was ot worth the 40 euros. Mayne for 15 or 20 euros.

first time coming to attend table manners. Spacious hotel grounds, friendly staff, international standard food. The place is very suitable for holiday purposes

Great hotel for relatively affordable price. Location was super great, direct access to the beach from the restaurant, lots of greeneries, family friendly. Room looked old with old furnitures & old tiles but quite well maintained. AC working properly, very spacious room with nice terrace. The surrounding area is perfect for tourist. But the breakfast was meh. Definitely will come back with my family.

Probably wouldn't stay here again. The rooms are more of a 3 star hotel. Very basic food options for vegetarian's or anyone with dietary restrictions. Nil gluten free options. Our room was very basic. No power points near the beds or in bedroom. Only one in bathroom, the worse wifi access, dead spot in bathroom. Wifi would always cut out. Balcony was nice and large... Aircon worked well, had heard others had issues with there's. Pool was nice, but usually hot water, And no swim up bar as it had said on the site. This hotel is right on the water, and in a pretty good location, but be prepared to be harassed by locals selling things. Markets near by and lots of shops... Supermarket also a short 15/20min walk..

Old dame, still government run, low profile food and venue, but worth the rates and food prices. Splendid beach side location

  • 4/5 Glenn B. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are a bit dated but the staff are fantastic and the location is absolutely beautiful. Over all a good place to stay and super friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend it if you don't mind the older style room. Also great price.

Stayed 1 night in transit to airport. The staff were really good. The location is excellent. The rooms need upgrading, bed comfy, aircon good. Nice pool area, but lots of moss on the pool tiles.

Depressing, sad and not as pictured. The modern rooms are very limited and an upgrade charge. After our first night we asked to pay for one night and check out. They said that we had to pay for our entire booked time. Unfortunately booking through Expedia made it complicated. The hotel had already reported the profits to management apparently. I felt trapped. They upgraded us to a larger depressing room. It was a nice gesture and none of the modern rooms were available for us to rent. The bathroom had a sewage smell that seemed to baffle maintenance. The main reason for a hotel room is a nice bed in my opinion. The bed was fine but the pillows were stiff with age and human detritus. This hotel is technically functional but it is surrounded by other, much more pleasant, clean and happy places.

Never again! Pool area nice and also hotel beside the beach! However the bathroom was disgusting with stained sink, taps, toilet seat, bath and pealing paint and wood work! The water took at least ten minutes to warm and frequently just stopped flowing altogether! The towels were like floor cloths, badly stained and grey! There was a stench from the drain in the bathroom floor that was nauseating!! The bed linen also grey and duvet covered in body fluid stains! Disgusting!!! Breakfast choice very limited unless you liked omelette. Staff friendly is the best I can say! Avoid this hotel like the plague!

Very dated and beds are hard. Paper thin walls so you can hear all from rooms next door. Great location, good breakfast. I would stay here again if it's cheap enough though. Nice pool as well.

Very disappointed with room asked for disable room with walk in shower I even checked before we left Australia and was told walk in shower was in the room it wasn’t and office manager showed no concern for my husband’s disability. 3 nights later moved us to a room with walk in shower which was filthy and charged us extra fee.I went and bought 3LTS of bleach to clean the shower. We were asked to pay the upgrade in CASH which I said no our friends had to pay $300 cash for there upgrade Very disappointing The pool was great location great Breakfast ok staff other than office manager very nice Have tried to send emails to speak to the General Manager but no luck. If you can’t provide what your customer needs don’t accept the booking.

Absolutely disgusting hotel, dirty stained sheets , brown stained towels, leaking toilet , cold water shower, dirty marks on walls in bathroom. Terrible breakfast , did not look appetising at all . Waited 20 mins for poached eggs. Would not recommend

we stayed here for just over 2 weeks in June. The rooms are in dire need of a revamp/repair (we were behind the pool) but they are okay! The staff are fantastic and very helpful and accomdating. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss in regards to the self serve items but the eggs were always spot on. Ask for bacon if you want it! Pool is as clean as the poor staff could get it and the kids spent hours in it. location is perfect, right on the beach and plenty of warungs for excellent cheap drinks/eats If you don't go to Bali for the hotel room, but look at location, staff and price. It is a winner.

Great location amazing staff, super helpful. It's an old hotel that doesn't need to be called run down. Maintenance is the key to make it a great old hotel to stay out.

Went to the restaurant on the beach for dinner Location 4 out of 5 stars 2 out 5 for the food Food was way over cooked, dry, chewy That was the satay sticks and the seafood meal Service very slow especially when there was only 2 tables of couples All in all location on the beach was nice but i would not eat there again

Not many people, great view, cafe nearby, most of all, you can see lots of diverse fish when you’re snorkling here. Don’t need to go far, just go to the point where seaweed is long enough. There are even some big fishes.

Excellent beach front location. Great service from staff. Nice breakfast. Convenient location to travel around Bali . Not crowded like Kuta or Seminyak. Proximity to beach ⛱️ is amazing. Great value for 💰.

Amazing place, good value for money and super friendly staff, even the ground and maintenance staff are amazing. If I was to note the cons, the pool has no shade in the heat of the day and the WiFi is almost non-existent.

We booked online two days earlier but the receptionist seemed unprepared when we arrived. The room didn’t yet ready by 4pm. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all of our rooms.

The location is amazing. Right on the beach, next to all the markets, fantastic pool, quiet location, great drivers available to take you anywhere with awesome local knowledge. Stayed here heaps of times and would not stay anywhere else! Rooms are comfy and homely. Price is awesome. Staff are amazing. Breakfast is delicious and eaten on the beach front. Just an amazing place. 5 stars plus!!!

Great location. Hotel very old and really needs some attention. Room was ok but bathroom old and very low water pressure in the shower. Old tiles and also basin cabinet old and heavily marked. Had to ask for hand towels as non in room and also to have towels changed after three days.Staff are friendly and it is used as a training hotel so lots of students learning which is nice.
