We got the most expensive platter for 2 people that comes with the lobster and crab, mussels, shrimps fish etc. It was good. Our table was too small for all the items! Service was great for the most part, really friendly staff. It's definitely more for an older crowd with the type of music also being played but we absolutely loved it. My one gripe, maybe change the mussel sauce, that's the only thing that I wasn't too keen on. It's like a bbq sauce but I didn't like it on top of my mussels, other than that definitely recommend for seafood in Sanur.

Great restaurant with a great atmosphere. Food was very well priced and delicious! They also have a great range of cocktails, which we took full advantage of.

My wife and I are regular visitors to Sanur. We stay away from big hotel restaurants and try to sample as many local dishes in as many locally operated restaurants as possible. We have eaten at most of the restaurants along the beachfront and the main drag but for some reason we hadn't tried the Mai - Mai Restaurant before. We ate a selection of Indonesian dishes and the service was outstanding, the food delicious and the prices very reasonable. A delightful dining experience in a pleasant ambiance with very graceful and attentive staff. We will be back!

September: What a difference 3 weeks can make. I returned to Mai Mai for their beef rendang and it was totally different. The flavour was quite ok but the meat was dry and tough. Disappointing on this occasion. August: I have been on the hunt for a good beef rendang this holiday and so far Mai Mai served up the best one. The other two l tried elsewhere where not as authentic as this one. Friendly staff and good service too. Plus free welcome drink and 10% off your bill (at the time l visited). Service looks great when you enter the restaurant, but after the first minute it will take a bad turn. They won't ask you anymore if you want something to drink or if you need anything else. The beef rendang was really dry and the beef was slippery? Didn't taste fresh.

Amazing, well priced food and friendly service!

Random find based on Google reviews but the food was overly pricey for its taste. We ordered 2 Balinese dishes, with spring roll and nachos as appetizers. Food took a while to come. The spring roll was good while nachos was quite underwhelming. Balinese dishes weren’t bad but they were not worth the hefty price tags; you can find equally or better tasting local dishes around town that’s much cheaper.

Excellent restaurant with authentic as well as quality dishes. It is actually one of the best restaurants you can find in that area of Sanur. The staff are very nice and their suggestions were really helpful. I visited the restaurant twice during my one week stay in Sanur. The restaurant has a good variety of dishes to offer at very reasonable price.

We have rated here twice now. First on our last trip to Sanur and again on this trip. It's a lot for us to go back to the same place, especially as there are so many great restaurants to choose from. We come back for the satay (pork, beef, and chicken). They are served over coal to keep them warm with rice and condiments. We also had the spring rolls, so good. The atmosphere is great. Staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. Drinks are good also. Service is pretty quick.

We enjoyed excellent meals here on 2 separate occasions and each time the food was delicious. Recommend prawn curry not hot but beautifully seasoned. Chicken and spaghetti, and chicken with mash potato. The chicken satays are excellent also.

Real Indonesian food, great staff and at very reasonable prices. Good atmosphere, love the traditional Balinese dancing which was performed.

The food was incredible, very tasty! My only suggestion will be more for the staff! I feel some of them they need training and supervision in their personal care! 🪻
