Krisna's four villas at Kubu Gajah in Sanur were so special! We stayed in a 1-bedroom private villa house with our own pool, outdoor shower, and immaculate kitchen and living space. Krisna and team welcomed my husband and I warmly with a chocolate honeymoon cake and a photo and continued to be extremely attentive and helpful throughout our 4 nights with her. I loved the little extras like offering us a bluetooth speaker (great for playing some music by the pool!), the courtesy bikes with locks to take into the further parts of town, honest advice about getting around for the best price & lessons in how to use the taxi-hailing app MyBluebird or the food delivery app GoJek. We slept so well in our beautiful king-size bed with dreamy canopy mosquito netting. Having a daily housekeeping visit with fresh fruit, water, and neatly made bed was also above and beyond the typical airbnb. Krisna's property offers a pretty unbelievable assortment of satellite TV, Smart TV streaming services, and good quality WiFi. This was the very end of our honeymoon and we had some really wonderful relaxation time by the lovely pool. About the location and part of Bali: Sanur is a slightly sleepy little town centrally located in Bali and a great jumping off point for sunset dinner in Jimbaran (try Made Bagus Cafe), seeing the temple at Uluwatu (about 1 hour away). Sanur's night market starting at 5pm nightly has some amazing treats and this is walking distance from the villas. Tons of walking distance cafes, restaurants, spas (Hyu was my favorite), light souvenir shopping. This was a nice complement to Ubud where we started in Bali as Ubud was much more congested (but had the best shopping and hiking).

Simply Stunning. The most awesomely appointed and functionally designed 1 bedroom pool villa you will find. Not a thing needed. Fabulously appointed, excellent staff and clear instructions. It was that good, we came back 4 weeks later and stayed in the 2 bedroom Villa adjacent to the 1 BR Villa. Just as awesome with even more space. Located between the Maya and Hyatt Regency in Sanur. Central but very close to the beach and shops. The staff bent over backwards to help us and Krisna the owner is so accommodating. Can't wait till we get back next year :)

We have been to Bali many times and this might have to be the villa that I come back to. It is in a super central location in Sanur, not right on the beach but a 5 minute easy walk to get to the beach. Right in the middle of all the great restaurants on the main street but far enough away for the location to be quiet. The villa provide free bikes that you can use and explore the area and each day fresh fruit which was a pleasant suprise. On arrival the fridge was stocked with eggs, bacon, bread, beer and softdrinks for us to enjoy during our stay. The kitchen is stocked with all utensils that you might need, rice cooker, toaster, pots and pans, frypans, juicer, smoothie maker etc etc The jacuzzi on the deck was beautiful. The gardens are amazing, the beds are super comfortable, the villa is clean and the furnishing are super cute and balinese (which is nice considering were are in bali). The showers had great water pressure (sometimes no water pressure in some of the villas we have been in) The villa was a really great size and have everything that you could/would need. Definaltey will be back and the staff here are amazing really helpful friendly and kind. Thanks for letting us stay in your villas

The best place.. nice, clean, very homey place.. smell nice too.. they provide all the amenities including daily fresh fruit supply.. love it so much! I am very sure to get to here again when i visit bali..

Good villa peaceful place

Stayed at Kubu Gajah for a five night stay in November 2022. The villa was beautiful, well maintained and clean. Had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Krisna, Tony and staff were really lovely and really easy to contact. The position was really central, just off the beach in a quiet lane. Bikes on hand to ride everywhere. Really happy we booked this villa. Will definitely stay again when in Sanur.

I made a reservation on Tripadivisor. After the reservation is done, Kubugajah tells me the villa is not available anymore. They propose an other villa instead. I asked them to concel the reservation. After 1 week it is still not done.

This place ist amazing and luxury pure. Each Villa has it's own pool and a jacuzzi. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Staff is really friendly and in case you need something they will always help. Great place to stay at. Also really quiet but stores, beach, supermarket are in walking distance. If you come to Sanur... go there. Insider Tipp: Instead of booking with a 3 party provider send a mail to the Kabu Gajah and book directly. Most likely they will give you a discount ;-)

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful villa and a wonderful safe complex. The staff are wonderful. Only a few minutes walk to the beach.

Stayed in Villa Barong - thru air bnb (there's 6 villas here) all 6 were booked but it felt very private, quiet and peaceful. The bed was very firm, big fridge, good sized pool, TV with Netflix, a beautiful villa, quick 2 minute walk to the main road for restaurants. There's a massage/beauty shop only a few steps from the villa complex, onsite security/gardeners/cleaners all ready to help with any request. Great stay!!
