Mak was a wonderful tour guide. His extensive knowledge of Bosnia and Sarajevo encompassed the history of the political, religious, and ethnicity of the region. He took us to see the Tunnel of Hope which we would never have found on our own. The tunnel showed the risk the people were willing to take to survive a civil war and go underground to get out out of the area. We also saw the Yellow Fort and Jewish Memorial Cemetery. We highly recommend Art and Tours Sarajevo and Mak as your tour guide.

I can’t recommend Mak and Bakir enough . They were not just your guides , they become our friends in such a short time . Knowledgeable , experienced , walking encyclopedias of Bosnia and Sarajevo . If you go visit Sarajevo , make sure you go with them . We can’t wait to come back !

I have enjoyed a great tour with Bakir. His knowlegde about the history of the country really impressed me. He explained a lot to me and even gave a presentation about the Siege of Sarajevo. I highly recommend this tour to everyone who is interested to learn more about the history and culture as well as about the present situation in BiH.

I did two private tours - the Grand Walking Tour and Street Art, both with Ado. Both tours were excellent. Ado was knowledgeable and his enthusiasm for Sarajevo and its stories is obvious. Our tour was excellent and your guid called Mak was also brilliant. He explained things to us and the whole history. I had a great walking tour today in the old town with Art and Tours Sarajevo. Definitely one of the best experience I ever had. The tour guide is super knowledgeable. He knows all the details! We really enjoyed the tour with Mak. He was knowledgeable and provided a lot of information about Sarajevo. The tunnel of hope was a different kind of experience. Hopeful that the economy improves and the political system can get some things done too. Sad that a country with so much history isn't doing better.
