A memorial created during the communist Yugoslavia. One of the many that was built by the communist system in frequent places to remind people who were important for that system. Đuro Đaković is one of the founders of the communist party of Yugoslavia. After the war 92'-95' in the place characteristics, the name of the street, i.e. the square, was changed.

Nice park to relax for a while. If you are eating here, you should not be surprised that it will soon be full of pigeons, crows and sparrows. And where do they come from??? But also a place where you are painfully confronted with what happened in '92-'96. The statue with the bullet holes brings you back to the facts.
