I'm sure the intention is not to cause suffering but that bowl is the tiniest thing I've ever seen and not fit for the fish to spend all of its days in. Thinking they have a short memory? That's been debunked. It was hard to enjoy the place with that animal struggling the whole time.

Oh boy ! This place is fantastic! I felt like I made a wish at a fountain and was transported back in time to the early 1900s. The decor is phenomenal! Prices are very reasonable. You have to, a must, to check out the bathroom !

Lovely place but I think its okay to put the note on the table if it's reserved for someone else. Bartender was very rude an unpolite. Started to argue with me when I sad they should put something on the table so they don't fool the people.. Cute place but I'm not coming back anymore.

This is great place for a drink after dinner in Sarajevo. It is an interesting looking bar with a nice atmosphere. There is a large selection of drinks to choose from like local beers. The service is friendly and it is close to the old town. It is worth the time to visit this bar if you are staying in Sarajevo.

Really wanted to love this place, had been planning to hit this place for a couple days, stopped in to see if there was availability, stepped inside and for sure it's beautiful....but service...the woman with a short bob cut looks me in the eyes continues doing her thing, hey you have to handle tables, I get it. She proceeds to bring drinks to the table by the door, I'm waiting to get her attention to ask and she goes to the back and gets on her phone looks up and nothing...oh well. And yes I've been to several cities locally and it's never been anything but great service.

Most cozy pub in Sarajevo! I went there twice in August, but forgot to review until now. I spent one evening chatting with the owners, who were really nice conversation partners. If you do bring friends, you'll find several cozy chairs and some barstools. The place is relatively small so during peak hours seats could be tough to find. The interior is overwhelming, ridiculous and really fun. It's basically your grandma's living room combined with a 19th-century cabinet of curiosities. I spent a week in Sarajevo but this was easily my favourite bar. You'll be fine at Zlatna Ribica.

This is my new favorite place in Sarajevo! Just wow. Felt like I was transported back in time. Drinks were amazing, we had cooked wine. Apparently cocktails weren’t the best, but wine is amazing! Interesting concept and cute menu. It’s super small and you will have to wait a bit for table unless you’re lucky, but it’s totally worth it. My favorite is that music isn’t too loud so you can have a really nice chat with people.

I don't even know where to start with this bar. Like others said, it is very much visiting your rich great-grandmother vibes. Drinks were just okay, but the ambiance was wild. Menu is a deck of cards. Goldfish is looking a bit rough but still the proud mascot. All antique phones are in working order and will ring once in a while during your visit. Cash only.

I love this place. I have come here since 2009 when I was living in Sarajevo and the place is filled with nostalgia and good vibes. I am just not clear as to why the owner has forbidden people to take photos? I mean it is fine that they have, after all it is their place, but it seems like a strange rule to me. People have always had fun taking photos and archiving their lovely memories of this lovely place.

This isn't just one of the best bars I've visited, it's one of the best places! Nina and Nikola were so welcoming and friendly, and they made my girlfriend feel really comfortable and she was so happy! I hope we can come back to Sarajevo one day and visit again. You can see by the pictures just how unique it is, it's a vibe you can't put in to words really. There's also feminine hygiene products in the toilet which was so lovely to see. Quirky and cool! A truly unique place to enjoy a beer or a tea. My only criticism is it's absolutely full of smoke so you have to be prepared for all your clothes to stink of tobacco.

We entered the place because it seemed interesting from the outside. There were some people having a good time at the enterance, there were some reserved tables and one that had nothing on it in the back. While we looked around the place, the bartender put a beer on it and said they were all reserved. Curiously enough, both me and my husband could have sworn there was nothing on it when we entered. We did the common sense thing and we left... A bit hurt and a bit wondering why he didn't like us as customers. He just didn't like our faces? This bar is a wonderful piece of history in Sarajevo! We came here both nights that we stayed in Sarajevo. The atmosphere can’t be beat. It’s unpretentious and you could stay here for hours feeling like you’re experiencing decades of Sarajevo history. The owners are lovely and and fun to talk to, which really adds to the ambience.

Went there for their famous Hot Chocolate but, unfortunately, was not given the opportunity to try. Went there yesterday around 19h, but were told they only serve those kind of drinks until 18h. Understanding, we went again today. Google says the place opens at 14h00 so we were there a few minutes later — still closed. Tried again half hour later, still not open. Tried a 3rd time around 15h15, remained close. Tried a 4th time around 17h00, it was finally open. Asked for the Hot Chocolate and a few other drinks and it all seemed good. 5min later we are told there is no Hot Chocolate because they have been waiting to restock for a couple of weeks but the delivery doesn't come. If that was the case, why were we not informed immediately? Or even the day before? The place seems great in many levels but we couldn't help to think the concern for the costumer wishes (or following their own menu and rules) is not really there. Maybe next time.
