(Translated by Google) An interesting little museum, a former school from the Ottoman era. Next to it is the huge library and opposite the jam. There was a movie screening in one of the rooms. See my pictures: (Original) Érdekes kis múzeum, volt iskola az Ottomán korszakból. Mellette a hatalmas könyvtár és szemben a dzsámi. Az egyik teremben filmvetítés is volt. Lásd képeim:

This shouldn't even be called a museum. As a local, I felt totally ripped off there. Paid for a group of visiting friends and was led into a room with a TV that was showing some very basic information in extremely bad picture and sound quality and a few old letters, that was it. Went back and demanded my money back. Please do not visit this, no not support this scammy "museum".

A beautiful building, very calm inside even though busy street just meters away. The introductory film is good at explaining the contribution made by this philanthropist to the city. If you buy a joint ticket to visit the Mosque across the street then you pay 5KM instead of 6KM for seperate tickets. A number of exhibitions inside including display of astronomical instruments used to determine lunar time and hence specific times for prayer.

(Translated by Google) Gazi Husrev Beg was a sancakbeyi in Sarajevo during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent ’At the same time he is the granddaughter of the daughter of Bayezid II. Hüsrev Bey, who lost his parents at a young age, was educated in the education methods of sultanzades. He served in important positions in the conquest of Belgrade and was later brought to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Hüsrev Bey is considered to be the second founder of Bosnia and is still in existence despite the wars, occupations and migrations he has built in the center of Bosnia, in Başçarşı. The library's library was heavily damaged in the events of 1991, but the books were rescued. wedding dress Ottoman wedding dresses Nowadays, this dress is called bindallı and gradually re-used in accordance with its original style. After the marriage, this dress was worn again when going to weddings. With the metal ropes on velvet and atlas fabrics, various local motifs are made with the touches of the belt, and the area where they are worn with belts and shoes. In Europe's fashion, the white coat was replaced by a white wedding dress. For those who could not hear the call to prayer, Ramadan-i Sharif and Ramadan were announced with ball. Nowadays, it is tried to live in some towns. The first ball to announce the Ramadan and piety times to the Muslim community exploded in the Anatolian Fort in Ramadan in 1821. If it was to speak, then it went out. It was first used in various places in Istanbul and then in the whole of the Ottoman geography. It's nice to see a memory from that era still here. photo Good thing I have photos The students and professors of Gazi Hüsrev Bey Madrasah were on a sunny sunny day in Sarajevo (because the shadows were clear; but sweaters, sweaters and overcoats were worn), facing the photographer's bellows machine and posing with a mixture of respect and sincerity. There are students from different age groups. The youngest of the younger ones were put forward and the masters and teacher masters took their places at the rear, and the most advanced pupils posed at the back. All of the people in the photo who are looking at you are already in the ground. But the photo was brought to your presence today. Medrese is longing for the old days to come again. Don't you get some rose water? rose water A ottoman embroidered ottoman from the Ottoman period is a beautiful souvenir of the period in which the chemical industry has not yet become so dominant in our lives. Nowadays, even the roses were not smelling ır In the past, fragrances and essences were provided by the plants and flowers God has created for their servants and used with their comfort. One of them is rose. The deliciously fragrant rose water obtained from the roses was put into the artworks and served to the guests. Bu gelenek Osmanlılar’a Selçuklular’dan miras kalmış

(Translated by Google) Nice little museum in the very center of Sarajevo. The building is beautiful by itself but the museum is small and very fast looking all over. At the beginning, first take a short movie of ten minutes, where everything is beautifully explained about the museum. The ticket price is very favorable (3 convertible marks). The salesman at the entrance is very kind. (Original) Lijep mali muzej u samom centru grada Sarajeva.

I was completely astonished that they had learned so little rooms at that time. Very interesting are the hundreds of years of writings as well.

Although built as a religious school, it now hosts a small exhibition about the colourful life and philanthropic legacy of Ottoman governor Husrev-beg, who received the honorific 'Gazi' (meaning hero) for his role in the conquest of Belgrade. Within the same courtyard is a strikingly modern library. Hidden behind the museum lies the pretty, colonnaded Haniqah; originally built as a Naqshbandi Sufi philosophical school, it is now an exhibition space. The 1537 Kuršumlija Madrasa building is distinctive for its pointed chimneys and the lead roof from which it takes its name.

Definitively worth a visit for anyone who is interested in the osmanic history of Sarajevo! You get a good overview of the immenese impact that Gazi Husrev Beg had on the city and his philosophy behind that. Besides that, the building (which used to accommodate a school) offers a beautiful atmosphere to learn more about Sarajevo!
