I joined the Sarajevo film Festival 27

Very nice place.

I was there couple of times for a film during SFF in summer cinema. The chairs were clean and all but the space in between the chairs, I couldn't even feel my legs while sitting during the almost 3 hour film and when I was getting up I couldn't see where I was walking

Amazing venue

Can you believe it? This place was Jewish temple before WWII.

Unexpectedly well organized, the show itself was absolutely great!

It is a national cultural center established in 1966. It is housed in a former synagogue built in the Moorish Revival architectural style, but the Great Hall exudes a retro socialist style. A rich cultural program takes place in BKC - concerts, exhibitions, theater performances, promotions, projects, etc

Packed with various cultural events. One of the best opera halls ever. The center was actually an old Jewish Synagog, a gift to the people of Sarajevo who welcomed Jews after their exodus from Spain.

Great vanue for concerts

I went for a stand up show last Sunday. No possibility to leave your jacket. And on the way out only one exit, which served as the entrance on the way in, was open while there are another 2 exit ways/doors. So, it took about 15 mins for the crowd of some 400 people to leave the place. Poor organisation.

Soooo much improvment to this place is needed...

It' a Jewish Temple...there is art and kino...whats not to like

Nice place i was only in one room, was some book promotion. But i didn't find anything bad or annoying.

Great location, but no parking. There is a parking close by that you need to pay. Hall is great. It is very acoustic, but the inventory inside is very old, starting from uncomfortable seats to ripped carpet. It screams for restoration. Hopefully country and city will start to invest in culture instead of in politicians pockets.

We saw Joan Baez on her Fare Thee Well your there, it was a fantastic evening. The venue has a perfect size for seeing an artist. The place could use some renovation, but that didn't distract from the event.
