Nice hostel, spacious private rooms, helpful host. Hard to find as there is little signage, and worst of all, the reason i deducted 2 stars: NO MATTRESS PROTECTORS…. very unsanitary… sheets do not protect against bed bugs or viruses. A nice & tidy place otherwise.

The host is just the best, the kindest person in the world. 10/10 recommended.

Good budget accomodation just a few steps away from the old bazaar Sarajevo area. Also cab available near this hostel for trip to Sarajevo airport. Hostel is on second floor, and the very kind receptionist help me with my big luggage and we really appreciate it.Clean room. Will stay again as it is situated in a very convenient area.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the old town yet still very quiet, within walking distance of everything you would want to see. The owners were extremely helpful, offering loads of advice and always on hand to help. They even threw in a free upgrade as we travelled in the low season when space was available!

What a great location with wonderful owners! The view overlooking the square is great and you’ll be right in the middle of Old Town. There’s also a tram station right across the road.

Great location, nice owner and great hospitality. Clean and quiet place, which is suitable for families. I liked Damir's(owner) hospitality, he was very kind and friendly. Place were really quiet and clean. Location is awesome, you can reach anywhere with just 5 mins walking. So, that's really a good bonus point. I preferred the quiet room however, quiet room with private bathroom and for 3 people is at the beginning of the place. It was quiet and clean but there were no window to see outside, and there was no sightseeing. It's a trade-off that you need to make. If you want quiet room & private bathroom, you'll lose the sightseeing, or vice-versa.

Everything was 100% perfect. Location,rooms,simply everything! Looking forward for another visit :)

It will be hard for anyone to find a better hostel in a more convenient location. The hostel is no less than 50m from the old town and nearly every historic location you will want to see. What’s more, the personalized service and friendliness of the staff are beyond incredible. The rooms are clean, the facilities are perfect, and the hostel is quiet amd calm. Aside from the dormitory, Pigeon Square hostel offers several private rooms and all are at a very reasonable (i daresay, cheap) price, making this hostel perfect for any traveler’s budget. I cannot recommend this hostel more. 10/10.

Location is unbeatable, the rooms and common areas - perfectly fine. It's maybe more for groups of friends than for couples on romantic holidays but we liked everything about it (6 guys in their 30s).

The staffs were so helpful, friendly and informative. We walked in and was arranged for a double room on the spot. Lucky is #2, their kindness is #1. We got the room with city view! Strategic location, just few steps from the tram station, the old city and main attractions. The room was comfortable with basic amenities. The bathroom was clean. The wifi was exceptionally great. Highly recommended!

Perfect location, quiet, safe, well-equipped, comfortable and cosy. In the kitchen refrigerator, electric kettle and even tea filters, coffee and sugar are available for free. The staff, specially Damir, is very kind, helpful, easygoing, very pleasant personality, who gave precise explanations and answers to all our questions, which we could easily follow. The hostel just could not be at a better place, easy walking distance to most of the main sites, supermarket in the building, bakery next door and authentic old town atmosphere – so everything is available for a very pleasant stay. Hope to return!

The location is perfect. The facility owner was so helpful explain everything even the questions were not related to accomodation. My sister and me stayed at single room with private bath although the price was average.. strongly recommended!

Just in the heart of city, across the Baščaršija... Very clean, best price-performance comparison, well located but the most important is the attitude of the owner 'Damir'. He is very friendly, helpful, solution-oriented. I had had a reservation in March'22. I had to cancel for private reasons (my fault) He didn't forget this situation and he gave me the one night money back in June'22. I will never forget such a kindness and even it is the unique reason why you should stay at his rooms without any doubt. Thanks Damir, it is not about money, it is about being a good human-being. Probably the best possible location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Pretty tidy rooms for a good price. Didn't regret staying there the tiniest bit, a five-star rating no doubt.

Great hostel in the parf of old city Sarajevo. So beautiful rooms, services, so clean... People is so professional. Rate is so high!

A stone throw away from the Pigeon Square / Sebilj Fountain. Tram stop practically right at the door step. The 2 guys who run the place also were very friendly. Price was super affordable. The only thing that's one star lacking was about hot water - it ran out fast so had to wait some time to get the water heated up again.

You are not going to find a more centrally located hostel with a friendlier staff than Pigeon Square. Comfortable rooms with a view. Helpful and informative owner/staff. This place is a winner.
