DO NOT STAY HERE! These people are anything but hospitable. And are downright weird and creepy. They promised warm room, three room was freezing cold and heater didn't work. That said that bosnians are used to sleeping in a cold environment. They turn off WiFi at night. When WiFi is on, it's intermittent. They force you to take your shoes off to get in. Shower didn't work properly. Water was brown before it got clear. When we complained, they threw our bags out. These people are downright criminal. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Just be careful. Owners can beat od bully you. To the owners: actually I was. I can show some pictures of damages you made to my and my stuffs.

In the morning before we enter the hostel, we tried to contact with the given number that is in booking for arriving a little bit late just in case of any problem in the border or traffic. They did not reply and before we arrive, we called them to ask if it is possible to be late just 10 minutes or something like that. Also they did not reply. We arrived to the hostel like 23.42 after climbing a huge slope and ringed the bell. First they did not open then we called and ringed again more and more because outside was really cold. Then someone opened the door and said 'I can not take you because you came late, go find another place to stay', but we did not have internet and there was no light around in any building. I was just like 15 minutes late and they never answered us. So we tried to invoke to take us inside but they did not. Then they canceled our reservation and closed do door. Not only they did not answer us in the day, also they did not help us with anything. Moreover it is written like it is near to city center but it is not. There is a huge slope, if you have your backpacks it will be harder to find it. It's place so confused. Workers are irresponsible and disrespectful. So we did not recommend you this place. Have a nice traveling!

I stayed there two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The hostel is a small family business, it's located pretty close to the city center, has a nice view over the city, is pretty quiet, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and was able to recharge my batteries. Also, the courtyard is bicycle-friendly and I had no particular problem with the wifi.

My short visit there was an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, I could not stay there for the night – earlier the owners (three big guys who looked exactly the same but at different ages) literally kicked me and my friend along with our things out on the street. Reason: I brought to their attention that the internet didn’t work. Additionally, they hit and pushed us, hurt my friend (they broke her toenail) and destroyed a few our things. So it’s a good place for you if you want to experience an extreme adventure, but if you are looking for a good place for a nice holiday without fighting for survival, every place is better than his hostel. In conclusion, probably it is the worst hostel in the world. But in every room there is a Holy Bible so maybe think twice!

Very nice hostelowners. We got scammed by our airbnb and had to find a place for the night. Even though it was 12am and almost every room was booked they answered the phone and found a solution for us. We had a nice and educational conversation and even got offered some free beer. Very hospitable people. The rooms and batrooms were very clean. We felt save and comfortable and even extented our stay for another night. The location is very good its a 5 min walk down the hill to get to the center. Whenever i come back to sarajevo i will stay here. Thanks again for helping us out.

The Tower Hostel is warm and feels like living in a local house adapted for accommodation. Very quiet, clean, affordable, and well taken care of. Nice entrance and garden. Talk with the staff about Sarajevo's history, they know more than your local newspaper. The best of the best was our Room Number 3 located on top of the building with breathtaking view of Sarajevo. Big balcony alongside. Takes 10 minutes climbing the hill from city center to access but it gives you the quiet aspect and there's a bus anyway. Great place. Strongly recommend !

5-star hosts, affordable, got a huge private room with cityview (was lucky). Also a superb pizza from nearby restaurant were ordered for us. Wifi slow sometimes, parking on street (free) or inside.

Great hostel. Hospitable host. Clean rooms. The only drawback - often lost Internet.

Great location and above all very clean

+ Good location - Wifi doesn’t work,we had to pay to leave our baggage in the reception after the check out, we slept with our sleeping bags as there was only one single bed sheet in a double size bed. The staff wasn’t helpful at all, they made us feel very uncomfortable with their “jokes” /judgements

Hostel Tower is a superb hostel. The owner is superbly friendly and was highly accommodating. He was always there to greet us no matter what time we came back. We are backpacking through the region and he even recommended certain places we should stop next. The Hostel also offers an affordable laundry service which we used and were highly satisfied with. The room was fantastic and gave us a great view of the whole city and was spacious and comfortable. The location is very near to the old town and the journey there is up a steep hill with lovely views on the way. We really could not recommend this hostel enough and it is perfect for anyone from families to young travellers. Hvala Hostel Tower!

Very good hostel. We called at 1:30AM in the night and he picked up and made sure we had a place to stay. We called 25+ hostels for a room to stay and those hostel was the only one to pick up. Very friendly
