before deciding to put your trust in their hands keep in mind; - transplantation is done by no name assistants for who you can not verify expertise - it is a mass transplantation clinic, you are one of many and your results depend on mood of assistants who work that day, whether they are in hurry or not (having surgery in the afternoon was additional mistake I made as the girl who was working on me was obviously in hurry to finish and leave), how long they do this job (many are just a few months in this job) - transplantation itself is done by multiple assistants and therefore there is no accountability for the results. In my case left and right side are not the same (not in density, not in hairline) - if you are lucky success rate is 70% and donor area is not ruined - the procedure is painful and months are needed to recover and to look decent, so it's not just about money and results its also about time, as if it turns bad you will need to go elsewhere to fix bad work (if your donor area is not ruined) and lose another 6 months to 1 year of your valuable time. - they indeed have patients that turned out well (who knows maybe those are not done by assistants but by the doctor) and they base their promotion on that patients, but keep in mind that you might not be the lucky one - Sandina Šeketa who is a manager there answers questions selectively (e.g. my concern about donor area being overharvested and how do I know its not overharvested was completely ignored) . So, if you are not happy with results its your problem. (under bad reviews here they ask patients to send them email to resolve the problem but it's just to look they care. They will play you out as they did me when I complained).

I've done my hair transplant surgery recently in Sarajevo.And I can only say the very best about VatanMed clinic and their employees, from start to finish they do their best to make the whole process as smooh as possible. In December 2022 I had a hair transplant procedure done at this clinic, and overall, my experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff was incredibly professional and attentive throughout my entire visit. The procedure itself was performed with great care and precision. The doctors and technicians were highly skilled, and I felt confident in their expertise. The results of my hair transplant have been good so far, but as mentioned by doctors it takes up to 14 months to see complete results. The clinic's facilities were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. However, I must mention that the most challenging part of the process was having to lay on the bed for eight hours straight. Although it started off comfortable, it did become quite uncomfortable after a while. Perhaps incorporating some additional cushioning or adjustable positions could help enhance patient comfort during the procedure. Now, I just have to give special review for Selma. She was an absolute gem and made my experience truly memorable. From the moment I met her, her warmth, kindness, and genuine care for my well-being shone through. Selma went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are truly commendable. I can confidently say that Selma is one of the most pleasant human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If I ever need further hair transplant treatments in the future, the main reason I would choose this clinic again is because of Selma. Her presence and dedication to providing outstanding patient care make all the difference. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking hair transplant services, and I urge you to ask for Selma when you visit.

Great work. I will come again here if needed for another part of my head. Many friends of mine have done it and all of them are happy. Some people have already done it first time in Turkey and yet they say here is higher quality then there. Highly recommend this place.

Several issues: customer service is a bit unprofessional, didnt even ask about possible diseases. Second, there lacks a "good connection" and communication between Serbian/Bosnian speaking staff and pacients - you go through most of the surgery without translator, and turkish doctors know some basic frases that are so badly pronounced you cannot understand them. Overall feeling is being treated as a capitalist product - you come and go, and basic medical empathy is lacking (although the exeption is a bosnian female doctor/nurse Neira who was very nice). Thrid. The price said 1500 euros, but all of a sudden it is 1530 in total, PLUS the hair care package of 350 euro which you must take because you obviously want a good aftercare. And also, they did not tell me that i cant get a full transplant, but only half of my upper scalp, and they told me that on the day of operation. They also said nothing about not drinking coffe 3 days before surgery, but they told me that in the middle of operation. Summed up: fast fashion capitalist medicine with good visual PR, with lack of empathy. Some good staff, lets see in 6 moths how the hair grows (though my hairline is now higher then it used to be before going bald, so also not good of a job in that area also).

Simple and reliable response from the staff douring the planing. Neira was very direct and friendly first contact, relaxed staff and atmosphere at the clinic. The doctors do their job with ease and professional all the way. The surgery is not so pleasant, but you have to go through it, in the end it is worth it. Above all, the clinic and Sarajevo are a special place to visit. I had surgery on 7/6, relatively fresh, everything is going according to expectations and briefing.

Was recommended by a friend who had theirs done there. Whole process very smooth, relatively painless (injecting anesthetic was the only part with discomfort, if any pain was felt during surgery I informed the doctors and they applied more) and time passed comfortably, was allowed breaks up until the insertion part. Neira was amazing in supporting, arranging and answering all my questions

The experience at Vatanmed Sarajevo was excellent and professional. The team consists of top nurses, technicians and doctors. The team is experienced in hair transplant and knows every aspect of the process and they guide you along the way. The process itself is not painful, although it takes 6-7 hours, under local anaesthesia, from start to end with a break in between and is very manageable. No swelling or extra pain after operation at all, have followed their post operation instructions to the letter. The staff was very kind in explaining every step of the process pre and post operation. Also before coming for the procedure, they explained in details what needed to be known and answered all of my questions that I had. And even now I am sending them pictures of my progress for their assessment and guidance. They are available for any inquiry I might have post procedure. Can't praise them more. Imam potrebu da se zahvalim i na ovaj način komplet osoblju VatanMed klinike, od prvog stupanja u kontakt sa agentima klinike pa tokom boravka u klinici i svemu što je pratilo taj proces pa do post operativnih usluga u vidu informacija i brige o svojim pacijentima sve je prošlo i prolazi na veoma profesionalan i srdačan pristup koji komplet proces čini ugodnim, ono što nije teško također primjetiti da je klinika opremljena na vrhunski način i da osoblje ostavlja dojam da znaju šta rade a kao dokaz tome su slike prije i poslije pacijenata koje potvrđuju sve to.

Prošla su skoro dva mjeseca od transplantacije kose sapphire metodom i rezultatima sam više nego zadovoljan. Ukoliko je postojala ikakva skeptičnost već nakon prve posjete klinici ona je nestala kada sam vidio da je sve na jako viskom nivou. Naročito bi pohvalio ljubaznost cijelog osoblja, pogotovo Neire koja je uvijek bila dostupnna za sve moje upite.

Everything went perfectly fine, pre surgery, surgery and post surgery. The whole staff is amazing, very polite and highly professional. I didn't even have to take pain killers after surgery. I am already much satisfied with the result, after only 2 weeks. If you decided to do a hair or beard transplant, look nowhere else, because this clinic is really good and they have good promo prices. Highly recommended!
