I lived in many parts of Sarajevo city but living on Grbavica near Vilsonovo is really something special, especially if you have kids. Vilsonovo is closed for cars after 17:00hrs. Its a beautiful alley along both sides of river Miljacka with beautiful tries, parks, bike lane, parks for dogs etc...

A nice road by the river surrounded with trees, restaurants bars and cafe shops Good for riding bicycle running and walking They close the road to car traffic after 16.00 h. Or 17.00 and on weekends no cars So its safe for kids I would suggest cafe bar TITO Its a good place for kids on summer spring seasons and they have a small open air museum regarding civil war They don't serve food but you can order from other restaurants or bring food with you
