The closest beer/wine/spirits to a mosque. Sarajevsko draft beer. Choice of spirits. You can sit inside or outside. "Birtija" is a Bosnian word for low-standard pub. While this place is "Birtija" by name and it offers what "birtija" should offer it has stylish interior it's conveniently located in city center and the people you'll encounter here - waiters and customers are civilized. Coffee swerved only till 3pm ;-).

Amazing place to have a drink. One of the few places that serves alcohol around Bascarsija. Staff is great. And try the varieties of Rakija. Wifi is excellent

Very very nice bar! It is well located and you can drink a good pint of beer for only 3 KM (about 1,50€). A special mention for the friendliness of the owner!

This is the bar you wish all bars were! Small, cosy, lights dimmed and many candles! Both inside and a small terrace. Drinks are cheap, 1.5€ for 0.5L beer! The atmosphere is great here, good music (jazzy) as well. Bartender is nice. Absolutely a must go to escape the crowd in the old center, it’s really nearby!
