Dr. Hodge is awesome. He is super patient always and especially under pressure. All of the staff from when you walk in, to the hygienists and even walking down the hall passing other staff, everyone has a smile and a positive attitude. As I’ve gotten older (gasp), apparent anxiety at the dentist happen more than I would like to admit, but there is no where else I would want to be than under Dr Hodge’s and his teams care. I would give 100 ⭐️’s if I could.

This was my first visit to establish care since I've moved. I take great care in the health of my teeth and have high expectations of a practice. Hillview Family Dental and Dr. Hodge were highly recommended, I see why, the energy in the office is upbeat, friendly, professional and very thorough. Not a long wait at all. The hygienist Annalise and Dr Hodge were amazing very professional and empathetic. They both answered, sometime silly questions, easily and simply. All in all very I'm super happy with my new dental team.

I left a dental practice that made me less than confident in their abilities to care or diagnose. Happily, I found Hillview Family Dental. Everyone from receptionists and hygienists to doctors were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. My confidence was restored! Dr. Hodge gave me the most complete, comfortable lidocaine block that i have ever experienced in 75 years! I am a nervous dental client. Having crowns and fillings removed and replaced was a fearful ordeal for me. They made the experience much less stressful and fixed everything properly! I had to have an emergency tooth extraction at this office, and the staff here are the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever met. Dr. Bettner immediately found an opening for me the same day and spent a long time with me to explain everything that he was doing and was very careful with extracting an extremely painful tooth. He did everything possible to make me comfortable and listened to all of my concerns. Matt assisted Dr. Bettner and was incredibly caring, gentle, and knowledgeable in his practice. The team at Hillview provided the most compassionate care when I needed it most. I will be returning to this office from now on for all of my dental needs and encourage anyone seeking top tier care to do the same!

This is a brilliant dental practice. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing a practice who cares about their patients. I used to go to Aspen Dental in Sarasota. I started to experience substandard care and decided to move to a more “local hometown, family feel” office. A place where I could feel as though they cared about me and my dental health. A family member recommended Hillview Family Dental in Sarasota FL. I am beyond thrilled I changed practices. I’m 68 years old and have had many dentists. Hillview Family Dental has made it to the number 10 out of 10 spot for me. It starts with the office staff when you arrive, continues with the hygienist’s care and concern and finishes with a down-to-earth, friendly dentist possessing a phenomenal bedside manner, Dr. Michael Bettner. Highest quality and his knowledge of the care I need adds to an overall feeling I am in the best place I could be. Office staff is supremely knowledgeable of insurance-patient payment requirements prior to the procedure. If you have a need for a dental practice/dentist who would be everything you could ask for in dental care, then look no further. I guarantee you will be happy you did.
