Just a wonderful experience. The waiter Olivier added so much to my birthday dinner. The bread was delicious 😋. I didn't care for the vegetable soup. The goat cheese salad was sublime. Really yummy. The filet in pastry with blue cheese was not to my liking. The meat was very well cooked, and a perfect cut and temperature, but blue cheese did not blend well. I would order with no blue cheese, if I return. My wife loved her whine. Trio dessert with mousse, sherbet, pastry was not good enough to eat. It was very good but not worth calories.i didn't care for the Latay.

WOW! That captures it but doesn’t all at the same time. We had an incredible dinner here. It is small and quaint, which made an intimate dinner wonderful. Olivier was friendly and personable, helped make great recommendations throughout the course of our dinner - for both food and wine. I highly recommend the mussels - there are so many options. But everything on the menu was creative and fresh & had a homemade feel to it. From a dessert perspective - just go for the Trio! We loved it so much and made plans to return shortly after for another great experience.

Visited for the first time for a birthday this past weekend, and we were blown away by this husband & wife team! Don’t let the exterior fool you—this restaurant is a hidden gem. The menu heavily features classic French and Belgian recipes, and they offer ten different styles of mussels. They offer beer and wine only, but their diverse wine list offers something for everyone’s taste. We tried the curry mussels couldn’t recommend them more highly! Our only regret is not being able to sample more. We look forward to returning in the future!

This is our favorite restaurant in Sarasota! The decor is beautiful and the vibe is so cozy! We love the owner Oli and his gorgeous and talented wife Angela, who is the best chef! They make everyone feel welcome and special! The homemade breads were so good! And the asparagus and broccoli soup tasted divine! The best tasting filet wrapped in puff pastry and a wonderful Halibut dinner after delicious Escargot and mussels! The desserts were so great-crème brûlée, chocolate moose and the best homemade salt ice cream! We will come back here every single time we come to town.❤️

I cannot speak highly enough of Antoine’s. I had high expectations and they were exceeded. This is the best meal I’ve had in a quite a long time, and I’d call this the best restaurant in Sarasota. The price is certainly worth it for the amazing food and service.

We had the goat cheese salad, octopus, mussels and chilean sea bass. All of which were simply fantastic. As someone who's had the great luck to visit the regions these dishes are from, I can say that the experience left me genuinely speechless. The service was impeccable, and our primary server happened to be the owner - who couldn't have been nicer. The combination of everything was the closest I've felt to being back in Marseilles. No other french restaurant I've been to since then comes close.

The best meal I've had this year. They are a pleasure and a treat. Worth the hour drive from my house to go and savor dishes, cooked perfectly. Flavors which have blended and married are now a joy upon your tongue. If you get a chance stop in pick your favorite and be wonderfully surprised.

Favorite restaurant in sarasota, reviews are accurate. Olivier the owner treats regulars like family, frankly he is like family, kudos to Angela in the kitchen. The best of Sarasota

As it came highly recommended, it was a very disappointing meal . Warmest greeting upon arrival by our gushing host, heightened my expectations. However, the "slab" of bland unseasoned salmon served with undercooked vegetables, especially the cauliflower, totally underwhelmed. Even the minor touches, normally added to elevate the elegant dining experience, like the bread rolls, were beautifully presented, but totally overbaked. No apology was offered when my plate, still full of food, was collected, and we were still charged, hence my first ever review.

Absolutely incredible food, service and warm family atmosphere. The chef and her husband Olivier were absolutely incredible not only in quality of the food but in the quality of the service. If you haven’t been there, you should go. Absolute gem in Sarasota.

My husband and I dined there for our anniversary. Originally we thought it wouldn’t be “nice enough” for the occasion. Don’t let the looks on the outside fool you. They do a great job with ambiance. And the waiter (who is also the owner) was fabulous! The escargot and steak tartare were by far our favorite. Next time we’re hoping to sample the octopus!

I guess we came with very high expectations to this establishment base on reviews. I felt the menu is over-priced , definitely did not enjoy my mussels and a little anoin being charge extra for french fries. Olso not a kid friendly restaurant . We came from Naples and the Blue Provence was a restaurant were we dine , can't compare ,service , and quality of food. I'm a business owner myself and I understand what a negative review means , I just hope they can learn and do few things better

My son believes he really hasn’t ever tasted food until his first visit here. He is 23 and has an advanced palate for good food. We love going there and the good is always top notch! The service that owner Oli and his chef Angela give to their patrons is why this restaurant consistently ranks near or at #1 in Sarasota. Our other son got to enjoy his first visit last night and said he can’t wait to take his GF there when they are both back in town- his new fav as well. Also, they offer many items GF which our family finds extremely considerate.

I am only giving two official stars because the black men that serviced us here were exceptional!! I wish I could remember their names but we came on November 28th for my birthday at 6:30pm Before coming in I checked the website because I was like does this place have a dress code it looks nice also from the reviews I was like let me check. Also at the same time my husband was putting on his blue jeans that had lots of tears in them. We get to the resturant the guy notices jeans ripped and tells us about policy according to your policy jeans are not listed nor is ripped it's says Athletic wear. And just so happens a white woman was behind us and had the same thing on . Matter of fact the rest of the guest that came in had casual wear and or jeans. And they weren't the same as my family but go figures. This place idk the whole environment was just uneasy I could only imagine what these workers go through working here. But again I am glad to the two young men who took care of my family, they ultimately made the dinner worth it!

I highly recommend this beautiful quaint restaurant! Oliver threats you as family as you walk in! The food is absolutely riveting! The mussels were fantastic! We will absolutely be back to try every single item in this menu!

We were greeted by one of the owners with a friendly smile. The service and food are excellent. A smaller restaurant in a strip mall with a wonderful menu and nightly specials. The escargot and mussels were cooked perfectly. The seafood dishes were fantastic and recommendations for a wine choice were made with ease. A high recommendation indeed

Amazing food and service! The goat cheese salad was a perfect start and the scallops are the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. The profiteroles stuffed with salted caramel ice cream, blood orange sorbet and lava cake are all things to come back for. Antoine makes you feel like family.

Antoine's in Sarasota was worth the time. Mushrooms in Chardonnay sauce as an appetizer was amazing. The mussels all you can eat in 5 different sauces was one of the best I ever had. A+

Small restaurant, 12 tables. Monday night, packed...reservations needed. Limited menu of EXCELLENT meals. Cream soups, smooth texture and taste. Port loin, scallops ...tasted wonderful. Profiteroles and other desserts finish meals perfectly. Staff could not be better.

This restaurant defines authentic cuisine and delivers a trully unforgettable experience. The manager is one of the most friendly men I've meet and it almost seems like it is his job to entertain you. Not to mention, his wife is a master of her work in the kitchen and I have no problems at all with her dishes. Best of all, the atmosphere of the room is absolutely beautiful, creating a friendly and comforting mood.
