Called in last minute on a Saturday. Food was great. I tried to stop by again on Monday before I left Sarasota but I wasn’t lucky, they close between 3pm and 4:30 or thereabout, double check the time on google. Great food, no complaints.

We had sushi for dinner. The sushi was quite okay. The flavor is heavy. The waitress (?) I guess it’s a part of owner. It feels odd to see someone to wear a T-shirt and a Birkenstock to serve while the other waitress wore the formal one.

First time coming here. Wasn't the best food you'd rather just go to Tsunami Sushi.. The miso soup had little to almost no flavor to it only slight. The Salad dressing looked like a cat barfed all over the salad (all chunky). The salad looked like it came out of the fridge along with the bowl it sat in. Thought maybe the sushi would be better than the soup and salad... not quite. Sure the presentation was nice but once again this sushi did not thrill me. DO NOT GET THE PHILLY SINCE IT IS APPARENTLY RAW AND NOT COOKED (it was under the cooked category) Friend thought it was cooked and they got it wrong. They seem to have a plague from 2017..guess they went the wrong way. Step up your game with fresh fish and menu design especially if a item is meant to be in the raw section. People need to know. The ginger was probably the best out of anything which is sad🤣💁🏼‍♀️

I love this restaurant. They always have fresh fish. I think they have the best sushi and sashimi in town. The price is very reasonable. I can recommend it to anyone who loves sushi and sashimi.

Sushi was really good however I thought the price was a bit high. It’s a basic location on 41 nothing special except as close to the airport.

We stopped in for our first time. Looks to be an old fast food place which they turned into a small restaurant. The woman sat us along with being our "server". The sushi maker actually had to tell her we needed "service". Although friendly, not very good service. Drink glasses are much smaller than usual. With that said, we didn't receive 1 drink refill. We ordered appetizers. We ordered the Fantasy sushi, it was very good. Shrimp tempura had 2 shrimp and the rest veggies. Kind of disappointed beings it was very good. The pot stickers/ dumplings were great. We had the hibachi The soup was flavorful. Salad not so great. The rice had a good flavor. The veggies cooked correctly, although sliced very thin. The scallops were small but cooked perfect. The shrimp was as well. The food was Great. The service was lack, although friendly. We will return, but probably takeout. Average prices.

This was our first time here, and overall it was pretty great. I tried the dragon balls, Rangoon, and some sushi rolls. All were really good, but the dragon balls were my favorite. I was a bit disappointed that they weren't doing lunch specials even though we went in on a Monday. The only thing that I really didn't like was the service. We were the only table there and there was one person at the sushi bar, yet service was extremely slow, I only got 1 refill on my drink and left thirsty.

Great small hidden sushi restaurant gem. Great for take-out but does have a nice quiet dine in experience. Good priced sushi with good quality ingredients.

We read the reviews but tried it anyway. Just as all the others have said, service was meh. The food was good but not the best around. We had to ask again for our drinks after we had our soup and salad.

I asked if I can get sushi without tempura flakes and received it with lots of tempura flakes. The tuna didn’t taste fresh. I left more than half of my sushi untouched and the server didn’t even ask if everything was okay. Miso soup tasted a bit off.

I love your food, especially the fried rice. My Mom and Dad think your sushi is the best and freshest in town and it's always consistently good. I love getting take-out because it's always still hot by the time I eat it at my house.

my family and i love japanese food, for that reason we go to several japanese restaurants, but kasa sushi surprised us! what wonderful food! made me want to take the cook home!!!! it's been a week since we went there, because we live in Orlando, and we're still talking about the wonderful food we ate, really wonderful! We will definitely come back to this wonderful restaurant to eat the wonderful food you guys make! congratulations for the excellent work you do!

An absolute disappointment. The sushi was not fresh at all and the portions are a joke. I couldn’t even finish the spicy tuna roll. How do you mess up spicy tuna?? It’s clear that the owners have sacrificed food quality to enhance their margins. Service was equally disappointing. Overall, I would NOT recommend this restaurant or their sushi to anyone. It was a complete waste of money.

This was a great find on HWY 41. The fish was of great quality and the rolls excellent. Our server was great and attentive. Best sushi I've had in a while!

Wonderful restaurant! Highly recommend this nice, clean, and quiet Japanese restaurant. Everything from the sake, to the appetizers, to the rolls were delicious and beautifully presented. Everything arrived in a timely manner, and even on a Friday night where other places had long waits, KaSa Sushi had no wait. We ordered the Dynamite Roll,, Fire in the house, and the King of the Sea roll, and each was incredible and flavorful.. The atmosphere was great, and as I said before I highly recommend! We will absolutely be back again.

Kasa Sushi delivered a fantastic experience. From the moment of arrival we were greeted with a fantastic Mural of what seems to be a Volcanic Mountain surrounded by Cherry Blossoms (I don't want to assume it is mount Fuji, but it looks like Mount Fuji) The food was well priced and tasted lovely. Would definitely return here once more.

We arrived when the restaurant opened at 4:30pm on a Saturday. The staff members were speaking Mandarim Chinese among themselves. We were greeted and served drinks as we perused the menu. We ordered some nigiri sushi which were well presented and delicious. As our meal, we shared three maki rolls which were again well presented and delicious. We were satisfied and can recommend Kasa Sushi Japanese Restaurant in Sarasota, Florida. Enjoy!
