Truly a beautiful location! These pictures don’t do the atmosphere justice. I was very pleased with the food options (cheese & crackers, soups, salad, and desserts). I loved the intricate details of roses and Lillie’s (my mom’s favorite) with covid going on, my sister and I wanted to do something small and intimate. This was the perfect setting. My mom and I stopped by a few days ago and had a wonderful experience! We were so blessed to have found this place in Sarasota and are already making plans to come back. This was the most unique cafe experience I have ever had. Everyone should get to experience the ambiance and detail that Shoogie Boogies has to offer.

Today we celebrated my beautiful daughter with a sprinkle in honor of her second child being born. It was just 8 of us because she just wanted a low key intimate gathering. Kathryn was amazing in helping me decide which table she felt would best serve us and she did not disappoint. The room was decorated with flowers 💐 in every single spot imaginable even white long stem roses hanging from the chandelier over the table. The teas, wines and flavored waters were all delicious and the presentation of everything was right on point. The food was delicious with unique menu choices all served in a timely fashion. The desert tier was not only beautiful but yummy. From start to finish we could of not been more pleased. I definitely would recommend them and I for sure will host another event there in the future. What an adorable sweet place to have events or just an intimate lunch with friends. Thank you Kathryn for all your help and kindness shown to us during the planning and at the event. You definitely have a wonderful business and with your great personality and your go above and beyond expectations, I feel very comfortable in referring others to hold events with you. ❤️

Romantic and magical! Kathryn was brilliant and we had the most memorable luncheon. From the moment we walked in everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, the presentation was just beautiful and the service was flawless! Kathryn took the time after our luncheon to take pictures and it made our day. She made us feel so welcome and so at home. We can’t wait to return!! Kathryn, thank you for this unique and one of a kind experience!

What am I missing here? This place was not only a disappointment, it was a complete ripoff. We spent $160 to have terrible food and listen to pots and pans clanking around in the kitchen the entire time. The owner said it was a fixed price of $80/ person. Are you kidding me? For quiche and a salad? Would not recommend.

I’ve had the best experience working with Kathryn for several years. I initially worked with her to plan my wedding but had to change plans during covid. Regardless, I know a wedding there would have been beautiful, and she was able to recommend a lovely officiant. I was so glad to keep in touch with Kathryn since then and plan the most stunning baptism reception and luncheon for our friends and family. Kathryn is such a pleasure to work with and makes sure every detail is perfect. I absolutely love her story and her inspiration behind her café. It made the occasion even more meaningful. She and her team did an incredible job planning and hosting our event. We did not need to add or bring anything extra—they took care of everything. The venue itself is so elegant and charming. We booked Shoogie Boogies for an engagement party, which caught our eye with the stunning photos and videos we saw on their website. Honestly, they do not do the venue justice. Everything from the decor to the ambiance to the food was perfect for the occasion. Kathryn and her team have put together a really beautiful experience, complete with an atmosphere that absolutely nailed what we wanted for our celebration. It was romantic, elegant, yet not at all stuffy (not to mention, great selection of music!) The food was also delicious and everyone was tended to with the utmost care, including providing vegan or vegetarian options for guests who requested them. Only thing that surprised us was how unassuming the location is; it's nestled in a quieter area near downtown Sarasota so I was looking for a large building and not a quaint little cottage! All in all, my fiancée and I were so thrilled with the evening, and highly recommend the Garden Room Cafe at Shoogie Boogies to anyone looking for the perfect intimate venue for their special outing.

What a hidden gem!!! We booked my daughter's Bridal Shower here, sight unseen in 9/22. All was so easy, stress free, all inclusive. Shower was today 9/2023, and WOW, a magical experience, my daughter was SO happy with everything which made me happy as her Mom. A hidden gem! I searched to the depths to find the perfect spot for my sister's bridal shower. I knew I wanted something small, intimate, unique, and special - Shoogie Boogie far exceeded my expectations, something you would see out of a movie. Simply Spectacular!!! Kathryn (the owner) made us feel welcome, as if she had known us for years. There is something truly special about her. Kathryn is not only incredible and personable, she was super attentive to my desires for the event, and it turned out beautifully. I had my baby shower at Shoogie Boogies in December '22. Catherine and her team made this day so special! We had an amazing time. The venue is gorgeous and their services make having your party SO EASY. We basically arrived and within thirty minutes pressed play on making epic memories. The caring and friendly service was genuine, the food was delicious and the backdrop had us all constantly taking photos. Thank you again!

I'd like to start by saying Katherine exceeded our expectations! My first visit to the cafe could not of been better. She took the time to give us a tour of and took some beautiful pictures for us throughout our time there. The food and ambience was perfect. I Will definitely be back!

Off a quaint street in the artsy Towels Court is a hidden gem of Sarasota. The Garden Room Cafe' at Shoogie Boogies transports you into an magical garden experience, complete with delicious food, top notch service, and decor to die for. We hosted my bridal shower here and Kathryn Kittinger was amazing! The ambiance she created for our party blew me away. I was able to live out my childhood dreams of dining in the Secret Garden. The staff accommodated our dietary requests, making vegan-friendly options for some of the guests - so no one missed out on the full experience. I can't wait to go back for lunch and host more parties there!

Had my surprise bridal shower here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! It was so beautiful from top to bottom with plants and decor. The food and drinks were wonderful

From the moment I walk in, I felt peace,happiness ,the atmosphere at this place is wonderful. You can see the personal touch in every corner, the service is supreme, the deco is exquisite, perfect for pictures. We had our wedding here last night and every detail was perfect. Katherine is wonderful and she pours her heart into her garden cafe and it shows. She was incredibly hospitable and flexible with us in the planning process. She is a really special person and and shoogie boogies is a special place. I highly recommend them for any small wedding or event. My guests raved about their dinner. The portions were very good and everything was really yummy! It’s a gorgeous atmosphere and I’m so thankful we had our wedding here.
