First impressions - definitely gives that "family run business" vibe, in a good way. Small, cramped entry but surprisingly roomy dining room. He was busy with a few takeout orders when we arrived, but he acknowledged us and had us grab a table. Apparently, he was shorthanded as although we heard another person's voice from the kitchen, we never saw anyone but the owner. He was preparing orders, cashiering, and serving. So, it took a bit before he was able to come take our orders. Roughly about 10-15 minutes. But we didn't hold it against him as he was hustling as fast as he could. There was another table with about 8 folks there ahead of us. After he took our orders (2 medium pizzas and sodas) it took around another 10-15 minutes for the food to come out. We both agreed it was worth the wait! The pizza was some of the best thin crust pizza I've had in a long while. The toppings were all fresh and flavorful. The crust was crisp with just enough chew. Great pizza! Also, the other table ordered several pasta dishes and they looked great also. The owner was very friendly and apologetic for being understaffed. The awesome pizza made up for any lil inconvenience we went through. This is a nice local small restaurant with good food. Support them and get some pizza!

I was craving pizza and this places totally delivered on exacting what I wanted. Nice thin crust, not oily but very flavorful. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely check this place out if you want some delicious pizza.

Fresh Mozzarella is TRULY THE #1 PIZZA & ITALIAN FOOD RESTAURANT IN FLORIDA!!! When I moved to FL 23 years ago, I was disgusted to find that restaurants don't know how to cook. Dining in is an enjoyable treat. Rocco, the owner & chef, is a very talented & attentive chef. He multitasks waiting on customers while also preparing their meals. He is super pleasant & very courteous. The latest employees are just as helpful. I've gotten items like Two Slices of Pizza: 2 Pizza Slices with Extra Cheese, Ricotta & Tomatoes; Fettuccine with only butter & cheese on top - another yummy treat. The latest creation I've ordered was Extra Cheese, Ricotta & Eggplant Large 'BYO' Pizza. Delivery is available. But the best thing is to call the restaurant directly & tip well. Quit messing with 3rd party delivery.

I feel a little bad leaving such a poor review because the staff was nice. This seems like a very cheap ingredients nickel and dime kind of spot. First sign was when I was asked what size slice of pizza I want 😅🤔 then next was seeing the Walmart brand great value garlic seasoning in the basket. The food tasted like the rest of the ingredients were of the same quality. Like something you would get at a concession stand. I wasn’t drinking soda but I noticed the large print saying refills were not free 🫣The $11 Philly cheesesteak sandwich I got was the size of a small breakfast burrito and any sort of taste or flavor was not there. If you’re looking to try a good new pizza spot like I was, maybe literally anywhere else.

NO STARS. I had a pizza delivered. It was cold and burnt to a crisp. When I called to complain the man couldn’t understand English. He then laughed at me. Very bad business

Best pizza around. I tried getting a picture of the garlic bread, but my kids ate them all before I could get a picture. The pizza was so fresh, and the crust was perfect. I highly recommend it.

Incredible! Truly authentic Italian pizza that will challenge your all time favorite, and surpass it! This place is clean, organized and timely. When in Sarasota——be sure to place an order and see for yourself.

I enjoyed it. Small local establishment. Friendly service. 😊 food. Nice gluten-free options. The gluten free white pizza🍕 hit the spot 😋 The spaghetti and sausage was very filling. 🍝 I have family in the area. Was traveling from Texas. Will definitely come again at some point in time. 😜

I came here with my family and the pizza was very good! When I saw the pizza first time I taught it was going to be bad considering it was thin but it was so good! The crust was also very crispy that just make it even more better. The hot wings are very good too! The people that work thier are very friendly .I will definitely be going back with my family. It was delicious!

This place is a gem! Rocco (owner) takes pride in serving fresh, authentic Italian dishes. The pizza is great - thin crispy crust, and it is light. The chicken parm sandwich is easily the best in town. Rocco is always so welcoming and pleasant, and a pleasure to speak with every time I'm there. Informal, owner-run and operated business with great, fresh food at reasonable prices. The quality and freshness of the food was a (pleasant) surprise. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Rocco is the best! The pizza is: 1. Fresh 2. Mozzarella 3. Pizza The pizza is a delicious chewy thin slice type of pizza. Reheats amazingly in the oven. Nothing fancy, just pizza for the people. Haters gonna hate.

I went to this restraunt with a huge band and I think the staff handled having well over 100 people really well. The pizza was also really good especially the mozzarella. The reason I gave them 4 stars though was that the sauce and crust of the pizza could also be upped in quality to match even better with the amazing mozzarella.

I am not one to ever leave a bad review and always try to find a redeeming quality to a local place but this is just beyond unacceptable. I’m exhausted and had no intentions of cooking, I’ve been up and traveling since 4am, so I spend $50 on dinner here hoping it would be good given the reviews. My chicken wings are burnt beyond recognition. We tried eating the edible bits, what’s left is too hard to even chew. The homemade Alfredo sauce has random red bits all over and the cream sauce, no it’s not crushed red pepper…smells expired and made with bad milk or cheese, the smell is strong and soured and it smells so bad we had to throw it out immediately. The pizza was average. Very disappointing for the amount of money I paid. Won’t buy here again. Edit: I have since received half a refund for my purchase, which I is exactly what I was going to ask for. The owner was quick to reply and refund my money. I changed the review to 4 stars because it takes a lot to own a business in this town (I am also a local business owner) and I know finding good help is tough. Also the desserts were pretty tasty, I ate those after my review. I am also pleased with how the owner has handled my situation and the speed my money was refunded.

My husband and I ordered takeaway from here for our anniversary to bring to the beach, not only was the food INCREDIBLE. The service was fantastic. The man I assume to be the owner or manager was so sweet and funny. Gave us a few extras like plates and things without us asking. We ordered the meatball pizza, the salad, and chocolate cake and devoured it all. We will most certainly be coming back again.

Service is amazing and super kind. Food is pretty good. The pizza is delicious. Finally some good wings down here in Florida. And the salad is the best salad I’ve had at a pizza place here in Florida. Another great feature that we love is putting our order in advance online, so it’s ready to pick up after work on the way home. AND.. if you have a Marriott Bonvoy card… you score points. It’s literally a win win. And my boyfriend is finally happy with a place that gives you a normal amount of fries.

Absolutely the best! Wonderful host and staff of a family owned restaurant. Gracious and hospitable. Fresh ingredients with large portion sizes. Pizza is worth a long journey…we ordered an extra for later! If you’re looking for authentic, fresh, DELICIOUS pizza, this is your spot. The only place to go in Sarasota!

Picked up a slice while on a bike ride. Located just East of Legacy Trail on Ringling. Authentic Italian bistro, will have to go back for pasta. Owner from Regione Puglia. Pizza was great, thin woodfired...one of best I've had in Sarasota

Polite owner! Great LASAGNA, & Garlic Cheese Bread. I'll have to go back to give a more thorough review. But a good place for carry out during lunch for sure! And he offered a Veteran's Discount! 💯

This was the worst pizza spot ever it didn’t even taste like pizza . I asked to leave it a little long and it was left to be burnt. I’m so disappointed and the wings was sloggy. I didnt go back because I didn’t want to unprofessional and make a show.. but a frozen pizza at Walmart taste 1000% times better. That shop with one guy with priceless emotions should be closed on Sunday if he was that mad to make a pizza you need help. 😡

I ordered a pizza from this place a few day ago! I can't wait until I come back to get another one! Delicious, delicious, delicious!!! The owner is from Italy and he knows how the pizza has to taste! Highly recommended!

Ate here many years ago and have continued to return since. Pizza is a must try! Garlic knots are a must try! It’s also definitely worth it to get drinks with your combo since it’s pretty cheap per person and refillable. The staff is friendly and the lady who owns the place is super welcoming! I still remember coming here 4 years ago when they first opened after seeing the storefront while driving by. Give this place a try!

I recently purchased two pizzas, garlic knots, and two dozen wings. $90.00 but let's really get to the review. The pizza crust was soooooo thin and there was barely any sauce or cheese. I mean a store bought box pizza (any brand) was better than this garbage. They must have forgot to put any garlic in their knots because it was just twisted bread. Lastly, the wings were undercooked and pink, soggy and just plain aweful. Please avoid this business unless you are looking for expensive paper-thin pizza.

Altho I live close by I have never eaten the pizza here and was excited to try it because they have announced they have gluten-free pizza Yesterday we had two slices of regular pizza which were pretty good. Thin crust, Nice flavor. The complaint I have is fixable. I hope management is reading this. By the time we added mushrooms and spinach, I'm not exactly sure but I think the price was someplace around $16 for this small 12 inch pie and I'm going to show the pictures of spinach and mushrooms that they put on for this price. Each topping is priced. If they fix that we will continue to buy it. But The price is not cheap for the toppings but the amount they use is Cheap and not like other places

2 mozzarella sticks for $7. The pepperoni pizza had barely one piece of pepperoni per pizza slice. Terrible value for the money when there are so many other top rated pizza options close. The garlic knots were good and the quality was good overall but had issues with the portions.

Since you asked. ... I didn't want to leave details only be because maybe it was a off night or because maybe you are primarily a lunch and take out but the night we were there we were the only ones in the restaurant. The young man who waited on the table was barely functional and not friendly. The cook or owner came out and served us a couple times and seemed to have a good nature, the only redeeming factor. The pizza didn't have a bad taste but the order skipped one of our toppings, the crust seemed tough like frozen, and there was no glass offered for the beer. It seemed strange being so empty. It reminded me of some little roadside town in CA central valley. So pizza had good flavor and the main guy seemed nice, the rest was disappointing. Probably made worse by the high expectation caused by the many good reviews here. I didn't want to complain in detail because we all have enough troubles these days...but since you asked....
