👍👍 Listen, when you're the only white person there, you know the food is going to be fire, and it was! Everyone was super nice, and several people offered to translate for me if I needed help. Make sure you tru one of the agua frescas, the pineapple was delicious! Would definitely recommend! People often mention order, authentic, good, rude, sauce, Mexican,

I'm had the combination fajitas. Tasty and definitely authentic cooking. Price was right and plenty for one person. There was way too many green peppers in the meal. Would have liked more variety of onion and tomatoes for me personally. Beans were good and there bottled sauce. I would recommend this to you.

Probably the most Authentic Hispanic Restaurants I've ever been to, anywhere, aside from Mexico. So much so that only 2 people working spoke English and only only one of them fluently. Its a very small place, it's almost easy to miss in the strip mall it's in. They have bar style seating that overlooks the open part of the kitchen and tables as well. The staff are all super nice and were accommodating to my Vegeterian diet. The seafood and everything else is super fresh, and the salsas were out of this world. My mom and I ate 2 delicious meals for only $23! I will definitely be back, can't wait!

Not sure how this place was in the first few pages of Google suggestions. Took over 15 minutes to order after attempting to order near a sign that said "order here" and being shooed back to our table by exclusively Spanish-speaking staff. We attempted to split a combination fajitas dish. Asking for extra plates, tortillas, and salsa that wasn't literally marinara sauce was all extremely difficult. Even paying the bill took multiple minutes just conveying that we were trying to leave. All of that would have been understandable if the food was worth it, but it was not. Maybe I'm used to authentic places in Michigan being less authentic, but all I know is I wouldn't go back

My brother in law went to get soup , we have eaten here a few times and it was never anything special but he really wanted a soup at this time of night. When he went with his girlfriend and his soup came it tasted very off and plain and he asked if he could get something different after only taking two spoon fulls. When he asked if he could just order something different he was told since he put his spoon in it that no matter what he was paying for that soup. After she yelled at my brother in law in front of everyone in the restaurant and embarrassed him (he’s 19 by the way) he just paid and left. When he came home and told us and we called they talked to us like garbage and said that he should have said something while he was there which he did and got yelled at and embarrassed. The lady we spoke to was very rude , the food was never anything to brag about and the service was always trash. We will NEVERRRRRR be back.

I’ve been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant and finally found it! I went in to order food to go and it was very easy and didn’t take long. I ordered 3 different tacos and steak fajitas. The fajitas came with yellow rice and black beans which were very good. Also ordered chips and salsa and I must say…they were THE BEST chips and salsa I’ve ever had. (Boyfriend agreed) ☺️. This will be our go to spot for Mexican from now on.

Not like your typical Mexican Restaurant. Very authentic. Servers dont speak English. Asked for chicken burrito. Plate arrived with grilled chicken on one side, rice, then shredded lettuce topped with sour cream , then a folded flour tortilla with a pool of very hot (spicy hot) green sauce. Fortunately able to eat the chicken without getting the sauce ..way too spicy for our American Mexican pallet.

Another top 10 in the country!! They have self serve salsa and vegetables as well, so that always makes a higher rank!

I called to make my order and asked couple questions about the food I going to order, was a rude lady on the phone barely answered and when I asked about if they do delivery said not which fine. But she asked me if going to order yes or no when I’m ready to answer she hangs out the phone. My suggestion is needs training their people customer services skill.

This place was packed when we walked in, and I knew right away it was going to be a good meal, the auroma from the open kitchen was divine. My friend and I neither spoke much Spanish so we had to wait a little longer as the first person who attempted to help us during their rush didn't seem to speak English or at the very least she started in Spanish and the confused look on my friends face as he grabbed the menu to point might have lead her to believe we weren't ready yet. Either way it was well worth the wait. I was not patient enough to grab a photo of my pork chops with onions before I started eating so hopefully my empty plate tells you enough about how enjoyable this meal was. One of the staff from the kitchen area saw us using hot sauce and brought us a house made sauce.. possibly diablo based on my previous experiences in life lol 💯 I couldn't stop eating well past the point of 'full' will return for sure.

Not truly mexican but a blend. Great food. Staff speaks very limited English. But better than my Spanish :). Be patient and kind and use your pointer finger on the menu. Lol. that helps. It will be a place we frequent now that we found it .

Tacos are just ok, but the steak is a low quality meat. Ordered yuca frites and never got them, but they sure made sure to charge for them somehow. They charged me $8 for 2 tacos while my partners 2 tacos were $4, clearly they overcharged. Disappointing and while still cheap after being overcharged, will never come back. Have plenty of better authentic joints in the area. Hope the extra money was worth it to ensure no repeat business!

The food was awesome. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The servers were friendly and attentive to your needs. The owner also is very nice and makes sure each guest is happy. Definitely will be going back since the menu was pretty extensive.

I used to love going here before , because the service and food were so good, but the people there José the owner and the other ladies, have treated us so badly the last 3 times my family and I went there! It's so disappointing because we love supporting small businesses, but not when they don't even let you go pass the door (in a really rude way) if the restaurant is full without even asking if you are there to order to go!

Food was pretty good somehow. But just didn’t appreciate how rude those Spanish speaking ladies are. Very rude.

The food was ok, big portion, mostly is rice and lettuce, the waitress was rude is very true. It is a tiny restaurant and seats are very close to each other. Anyway, my whole family got Covid-19 positive next day after we dine in here.

Mofongo and enchiladas are a hit. The food is very authentic and delicious. Homemade and cooked to order. When visiting Guadalupana expect to be there for a while. Not the fastest service, but worth the wait. Don't be shy come in find a seat, dont just stand around.
