Perumambalam Dam is located at the foothills of the Kadampur Hills and is 14 km from the Satyamangalam Bus Stand. The Dam sells nutritious fish and is also under the control of the Bhavani Sagar Water Resources Department.

I totally love this place . It's the most beautiful when the dam is full with water. One can enjoy solitude when they are here. There are local people who can do fishing and cook it for you if you want. Best time to visit is from November to January

A Heaven - for those who look for solitude, eerily silent atmosphere but for the chirping birds, a looong walk, and quite a green place. Occasionally, becomes a good spot for birding too. However, if you're one of those who look for the picnic spot in a conventional and commercialised sense, then it is not for you. Literally there are no facilities whatsoever. No parking, no shops, no toilets, no shelters.. And yes, it isn't a tourist spot.
