The place is good but maintenance is worst. Polluted water and garbage . People take bath washes the clothe and the management team does nothing to stop .

The lake needs some proper care. Though ambience is calming and its a good place to have some quiet and relaxing time.

The place has a good vibe but needs maintenance for sure. Perfect for cycling around this area with connected route towards santaneswor height.

You can get a public transport from Lagankhel or just walk from Satdobato like I did. It took me around 50 mins. It's a quiet place. There weren't many people. Quiet a few number of cafes( I didn't try any) There is another legend that unites the two lakes, Taudaha and Nagdaha of the Kathmandu valley. It was said that a female serpent lived in the Nagdaha and a male in Taudaha. Every year during the rainy season, the male serpent visited Panauti to participate in a Jatra. He used to visit Nagdaha during his journey two and from Panauti as Nagadaha is on the way. In Nepal, the snakes are believed to bring good rains and prosperity to the country.

The lake is little polluted. You will spend your 15-20 minute here. Nothing much.

Disappointed ,the place is hard to reach not because of distance but cause of the road condition for 4 wheeler , dusty, bumpy and narrow roads, place in it self is neglected,it could have been lot better but alas neither the local govt nor local is bit concerned about such a gem of a place
