I think the did a great job overall. Splitting this into different sections. Service: There was a lot of confusion from the waitress. She was yelling at another waitress to order from the other side of the table but then they must have argued so she left. Speed: Granted, We had a super large group of people (30+?). However it took 2 hours to get our first food dish, and they were still bringing out dishes when we were basically done eating. Food: The food was great 5 stars. Compliments to the chef. Water tasted like it was tap water though, which only matters when you're from another country and your immune system isn't used to the local water. Bathrooms: This was odd. The bathrooms were outside on the side of the building in the alley, and they were broken down, disgusting, smelled bad, and dirty. I felt like I was going to get robbed just walking to the bathroom. Overall I'm giving it a 4 because even though the food was great, the other aspects brought my overall feeling of this place down. It's borderline 3.

The staff and employees there are great. The Naan bread is STELLAR, and it is because they make it the right way. Deba was kind enough to show us the oven they used and introduced us to the head Naan chef! The food here is really good. It's a bit different than the Indian food we are used to in the states. Probably because the ingredients are a bit different. But I love that, discovering how the same dishes we eat are different in other countries. We had the chicken korma and the chicken Tikka masala the night b4. The chicken korma felt like the cream had split and it tasted a bit sour. Was interesting they used raisins and dates?? I still ate it all though and was fine. They also serve Thai food, which I didn't get to try. Price is very reasonable. Decor is simple and welcoming. They will take credit card for an extra service charge. It's all well worth it, though. Get the Naan bread!!!

For the starters this is not an Indian restaurant, it's a Bangladeshi restaurant run as Indian . We ordered 4 dishes paneer butter masala , Palak paneer , dal makhni and aloo Matar. All the 4 dishes were well below par. Posting the pictures of Palak paneer and aloo matar. The Palak paneer was white in colour. I can't understand in which country is palak paneer white . It's not just white and tasted very bitter . As for aloo matar goes , the potato is not cooked well. The paneer butter masala was very sour and the dal makhani tasted like stale oil . The roti and paranthas were made out of Maida and not atta . They were very thick and felt like having a chewing gum. All in all the food was very very bad 👎 , would never ever recommend this to anyone .

Mostly outdoor setup. But they do have a indoor area with fans. Nice Indian food. Large variety of choices. They can make the food spicy or mild. A good portion was served, every one enjoyed the food. They brought us extra plates for the cake. Even played a Indian happy birthday song on their sound system. Parking seems to be pretty small. The other customers have to park on the side of the road. Nice Restraunt overall.

Decent. A little pricey but not surprising based on proximity to Wailoaloa. If you crave spicy Indian food, this is a great place (they ask you how spicy you want it). Thali is a good option if you want variety. Duck curry was ok but duck was probably not very fresh because it was not the juiciest.

Slow & confused service, took almost an hour to get our drinks and no water provided. Pakora and breads were good but the Fiji style chicken curry we had was very bland. Bathrooms in terrible condition.

Came here with a group of 12 friends from Australia. We had the best time.. really authentic Indian. Orded entrees, mains and drinks. All fantastic with really great servive

The dishes were super tasty, the quantities were enough. For those who can’t handle chili, you can ask for a no spicy dish. The staff is welcoming and kind. I warmly recommend for your trip in Nadi!

Forgot the Fiji time, we went for a dinner and got foods after 1 hour after the order, however I couldn’t leave a bad review as the taste was wonderful ! Even though we waited for 1 hour of starving. Pineapple special dish and paneer curry with spinach were so awesome !

Enjoyed our meals.. staff were lovely. Our waitress was very welcoming and attentive. After we ordered, meals came out quick considering we ordered alot, my pictures are only quarter of what we ordered I forgot to take more photos lol Highly recommend the lamb korma and tika masala grilled chicken, nicely cooked, would prefer if the lamb korma had more chillie! Naan breads were tasty and delicious too! Pricing is reasonble, would dine in again. Vinaka!

The food was good but the staff took at least 50mins to serve the food which was a test to the patience.

Nice food, atmosphere wasn't great, but staff are very friendly and helpful. Quite a variety of Indian & Asian food, One can easily underestimate this restaurant due to location or ambience -but won't regret, would definately recommend.

We came from New Zealand and had our first day lunch @ Sitar! Food was great and nice services too. Their Duck curry & Fish fry was really yummy.

Conveniently located along the highway in Martintar, Nadi, its a great restaurant with outdoor ambience. The food is great and very cheap too. Manager and staff are great as well.

This review is based entirely on a dish of Pakora, which were absolutely fantastic. I didn't even have a beer because I was driving, but I reckon an icy cold Fiji bitter with those Pakora, sat outside would be frikkin awesome.

It was fine. Much more memorable because of the staff than because of the food.

The food was expensive and the portions were very small. We ordered tea for 4.5 dollars and it came in a tiny cappuccino mug. The flavours were not very Indian … Service was friendly

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! The restaurant doesn’t differentiate on masala tea and milk tea and charged an insane amount for it! For vegetarians it would seem they wouldn’t be happy with their food as it was blend! Apart from the customer service I wouldn’t recommend anything great about the restaurant. I hope the restaurant can at least improve on its authenticity for its food and not disguise its food as something else.

Such a beautiful restaurant! We had seven different dishes and they were all incredible. Best butter chicken I’ve ever had! The drinks were also amazing. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be returning every time we are in Fiji :)

We stayed in the hotel next door and ended up dinning here 3 nights in a row. The service is excellent, everybody is very friendly and nice. And the food is great......big variety of dishes, naan was sooooo good!!!

Best Indian food we have had on this trip. The chicken Tikka masala was the star but the channa masala was excellent as well. Very reasonable prices as well. If you are looking for a good dinner in Nadi this is your place.

Food quality is really poor

Just worst overall expereince. No Air con, mosquitoe coils all over the place, run down property. Food had no salt, unclooked and unflavoured chicken, calrose rice was served, paratha was plain roti, ordered fries for kids too oily and hard. The only thing good was live music.

Terrible food. Tandoori roti was completely crisp and brittle. Could not fold the roti at all Salted Lassi was a mix of milk and salt and almost no yoghurt. Please save your money and don't eat here.

Very poor service. Waitress seemed like we inconvenienced her by ordering food. Service was slow. Many items on menu were not available. Staff barely seemed to care if we ate there or not. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Been to plenty of nice restaurants while on my vacation here plus I’m born in Fiji as well. Very disappointed at this restaurant that was recommended to us. 2 big thumbs down.

Nice outdoor area. Palak paneer was somehow dry, Chicken Korma was very sweet. Naan was so so. Expected better.

Overall Sitar Indian restaurant is not good. The food was cooked in way too much oil. The food took a long time to arrive at our table. There were animals such as cats roaming the restaurant under the table we were eating at. the garlic naan had no garlic and the cheese naan had no cheese.
