Memphis Lake is a Nebraska State Park campground and day campground. They have sites for tents and campers. They also have some shelter set up for day use. The lake is perfect size for paddling around on a kayak or paddle board. I also saw a lot of people fishing there. They have vault toilets but they do not have showers. This would be a lovely lake to kayak our canoe! It had a small island. I understand from a local I met here that canoe & kayak rentals and concessions have been closed the past two summers, but he hopes it will open again this summer. There is a cute older playground. My girls were delighted that it still had a teeter totter 😊 (most have been removed these days).

Saw Sandhill Cranes, Eagles, Canadian Geese. Fishing was good, and off season camping was wide open. Pick whatever spot you want.

Why did you remove the picnic tables and fire pits from so many of the camp sites? Now they are all just sitting in a pile near the maintenance shed. Couldn't find any staff to break a $20 the entire time we were there so I guess that one was on the house
