This is a beautiful little square, so nice and peaceful. Whitefield Square is a great spot to take a relaxing stroll or some much needed chill time in the gazebo. Although its not exactly well lit at night it has always seemed like a pretty safe spot to me.

I absolutely enjoy all the squares of Savannah. If you ever visit Whitefield Square and encounter Mr. Bernard, the local tour guide and historian, listen to him intently, he has so much history and knowledge, specifically about Savannah, to share.

I wanted to visit this place because of its association with Rev George Whitefield. He was a leader in the First Great Awakening in USA. Nothing in the park to celebrate his great work. The wedding gazebo was donated by actor Burt Reynolds. Although it was part cleared in the recent past, there are many slave bones and poor peoples bones buried here.b

One of many beautiful squares in historic Savannah, Ga. We spent hours exploring the monuments and smelling Magnolia blossoms. The gazebo in Whitefield Square is so pretty and a perfect spot for a rest and some great photos. We visited after dark and the square was well lit.

Peaceful square in the heart of downtown Savannah. Enjoy the beauty of the old historic homes and the First Congregational Church. The gazebo provides benches to take a moment and the large oaks provide the shade. Enjoy

The cozy gazebo weddings @Whitefield Square are memorable in Savannah's Historic District. This the wonderful, wonderful to behold. God bless you & "We've Only Just Begun" is a national favorite to begin WITH!🖤

Nice quiet square in Savannah to get away from the crowds. However, it can get busy with walking tours coming through.
