The hubs loves breakfast! It’s his favorite meal out so after reading a ton of reviews about this place we headed over for breakfast. The place was packed and I can see why! They have excellent service, and very good food!! The hubs had pancakes and bacon with coffee. He really enjoyed the pancakes, the only thing that would’ve made them better would have been real butter (not spread… which we understand that spread actually “spreads” unlike cold butter.) I had scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and a waffle. The waffle and pancakes are made with different batter - which was a pleasant surprise! As a total aside I loved that this place is a real picture of America … all kinds of people working hard to serve all kinds of people. The owners must be very cool people.

A top rated restaurant, serving primarily breakfast dishes. The food is always great, served within a few minutes of ordering, and a ample amount. A diner type of establishment, with seats at the serving bar, tables & booths available. What's special about this place, is the friendly staff. With employees working here for many years, you get to know them personally & makes for a more pleasurable and friendly dining experience. The prices are inexpensive for the generous amount of portions served. For a great breakfast, stop in here. A thank you, to Tashana, my server, for doing a great job as well. Always great food.

Delicious food, seat yourself dining experience. Only been here once but the speed and efficiency of this place is amazing. The small diner voices are wonderful but the place could use an update. Still, not sure that could improve the great overall experience.

Great place for breakfast. I kept it simple and had a ham and cheese omelette it was delicious.

As previously mentioned the outside of this restaurant located in a strip mall leaves u wondering. Must say it's obviously a staple in this neighborhood. Got there bout 40mins before it closed at 3p. Sat ourselves, server came got our order and in 10mins piping hot food was before us!! No waiting, quick service.... also as previously mentioned, it's a very diverse grp that are working behind the counter, and they seem to be quite happy, either b/c they were closing soon or just happy to be alive 🙃.... defitively an experience. Hubster enjoyed his catfish the best.... prices were very reasonable.

Sunny side up, truly the best breakfast place in town with the best prices for the quality and and quantity. My usual order is the Chicken omelette with a side of hashbrown!

Atmosphere was really welcoming. This is a nice little hole in the wall place. My boyfriend and I stopped in for breakfast/brunch before getting back on the road and this food really hit the spot. It is seat yourself, which is always a little confusing, but the waiter and staff were really nice and service was fast!

Great food hit and cooked to order. I had a Patty Melt with crinkle fries remind me of how the food used to taste when I was 20. Excellent customer service bravo.

INCREDIBLE FOOD! We went here 3 days in a row. The owner waited on us twice and he was so quick and friendly. Seriously, you have to try it! It may look like it's in a sketchy area but just trust me. 😊 I highly recommend the sweet cream pancakes. They were so, so good... And I usually prefer waffles.

We went here for breakfast and it was awesome! The coffer and the coffee cups were my favorite part. The coffee was top shelf amazing and the cup kept it hot longer!

I absolutely loved my meal. Our server [Shana] was courteous and made a mocha for me. She cleared tables, took orders, and provided food in a way that could only be called graceful and effortless. The grits were creamy and the Seafood Delight was just that; a delight! This is a local gem we found on our couples getaway.

I am very big on good customer service, especially when it's my hard earned money I'm spending. They met my expectations! The waitress was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed but our food still came really quickly and it was fresh and hot. The prices are very reasonable (Waffle House scale as far as price, but WAY BETTER taste). If I'm ever visiting Savannah again, I'll definitely make this one of my stops! 👍🏽👍🏽

I got a delicious shrimp poboy! You can't go wrong with that. It's delicious hot and tasty! Fries come with the poboy! I went on 2/10/2024. I wish that I could post my pic of my meal.

Enjoyed a hot breakfast at Sunnyside up over the weekend. I have not been in ages and decided on the chicken n eggs breakfast with raisin toast. Food temp was great and the taste was good. Only issues are : I did not get apple butter for raisin toast and only sugar substitutes were on our table

Don't let the outside fool you. This is the place to be for breakfast. You do seat yourself but our waitress was awesome. The food was outstanding and we didn't wait long at all. When I tell you that wast absolutely the best waffle I have ever had!!!

They have definitely gone up on their prices a few times over the past few years but I guess everyone has..? The employees are not always the most friendly..always seem to be very overwhelmed and no personality at all but the food is always good. I normally get the food to go because it's always so loud in there with it being an open kitchen, and tables being so close together, you can hear everyone's conversations.

Need a good local diner staffed by friendly people? Here you go. If you're wanting a to go order there may be a small wait as they are POPULAR to go. But when I sat down I had no problem, no weight, and had a tasty meal.

The health dept needs to take a look at this place. Absolutely disgusting. She rung my order up wrong. Overcharged me. Gave me pancakes I didn't ask for. Touched cash then made my orange juice and put her finger in the cup. Disgusting.

Disgusting! Ordered shrimp and grits with scrambled eggs with cheese. The description stated that the shrimp and grits came with bell peppers and onions. The grits were bland! The shrimp came separate from the grits with no bell peppers or onions. The cheese came SEPARATE in a different container. Never have I ever ordered shrimp and grits and got this B.S.

I have never seen such a well-organized and speedy breakfast rush! The cooks obviously work well together. Our server was extremely attentive and took great care of us. We went specifically for the chicken and waffles and we were not disappointed! All of our food was delicious and fresh.

We enjoyed our breakfast. It made us feel like we had been transported back to Michigan and our old breakfast place. The eggs were perfect and the grits were creamy and my coffee was smooth and Hot 🔥. We will go back to try lunch.

The food here was well worth the price. Large portions and very good. Every time I go here the staff makes me feel like I am at home.

Never disappoints. I've eaten here numerous times and it's always great! This morning, I had went somewhere else and never even got to order due to terrible customer service so I left to find somewhere friendly to eat. Sunnyside up NEVER disappoints me. Immediately was greeted by a friendly male server with a warm smile and good morning. That goes a long way and sets the tone for the visit. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend!
