Sind eigentlich zum Currywurst essen nach Magdeburg gefahren und haben es dann mit einem Ausflug in den Zoologischen Garten verbunden. Das Wetter war leider nicht so toll, aber es hat sich dennoch gelohnt. Ist ein schöner Tierpark.

Toller, gepflegter Zoo mit so vielen Attraktionen, da braucht man wirklich die vollen Öffnungszeiten um alles zu sehen. Ich persönlich würde es im Sommer gut finden, wenn bis 19 Uhr geöffnet wäre. Alleine schon die Tierhäuser sind total interessant. Die Kinder erleben die Tiere hautnah. Gerade zur jetzt heißen Jahreszeit konnte man ganz oft durch die gepflegte Anlage im Schatten laufen. Viele Bänke zum verweilen. Die Preise an den Imbissen waren noch vertretbar. Der Spielplatz ist grandios, ganz viele tolle Highlights für Kinder aller Altersgruppen. Und Mama und Papa können im Imbiss nebenan verweilen, während die Kinder toben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Leider etwas enttäuschend. Es gab zwar viele große Tiere (Elefant, Nashorn (sogar mit Kind), Giraffe, Löwe...), aber die Käfige sind teilweise recht klein und manche Tiere haben daher Lagerkoller. Die Fläche ist merkwürdig genutzt - entweder ungenutze Grünflächen, dann wieder Käfige eng an eng und direkt am Spielplatz. Es gibt keinen Rundweg, man sollte einen Plan mitnehmen. Preislich okay, dafür dass man ca. 3 Stunden (ohne Kinder) unterwegs ist. Leider kostet das Parken nochmal 3 Euro extra. Die 2 Mitarbeiter am Eingang wirken genervt/unfreundlich. Der Eingang über den Zooshop ist äußerst ungünstig gelöst und sehr eng. Extrem gut ist, dass Kinder bis 15 Jahren kostenlos rein kommen.

Ich habe einen Gutschein für eine Führung durch den Zoo bekommen. Los ging es abends, als alle anderen den Zoo verlassen haben. Es war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis und so spannend gestaltet. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Wir waren zum erstenmal in Magdeburger Zoo. Es hat uns allen sehr gefallen. Der Spielplatz war ein Highlight für unseren Enkel. Die Eintrittskarte sind preislich sehr gut. Wir kommen sicherlich nochmal in den Zoo. Es war ein schöner Tag.

Ein schöner Tierpark, nicht zu groß, aber auch nicht klein. Wir waren knapp 3h dort, haben viele Tiere zu sehen bekommen und auch was vor Ort beim Imbiss gegessen. Das Restaurant war sehr voll, dort haben wir keinen Platz bekommen. Es gibt zwei, drei freie Gehege, die zum Teil umgebaut werden, aber das war nicht schlimm. Zwischendurch stehen immer wieder Bänke, auch ein weiterer Imbiss- und ein Getränke- und Eisstand gab es unterwegs. Toiletten waren sauber.

Schöner Zoo mit viel Liebe, die man überall sieht und spürt. Wer Erdmännchen liebt der wird diesen Zoo niemals verlassen wollen. Es gibt tolle Spielplätze für die Kinder und auch für die Ziegen....Insider. Genießt eure Zeit hier und atmet mal durch von dem ganzen Stress im Leben. Danke an das gesamte Zoo Team

Wir waren gestern im Zoo Magdeburg. Das Wetter war nicht so das beste,aber dafür war der Zoo nicht so voll und man konnte die Tiere ,die nicht geschlafen haben, sehr gut bestaunen. Allgemein sehr schöner Zoo. Da ich ein großer Fan von Giraffen bin, was das für mich das größte Highlight 😍

Beautiful Zoo. Not that big, but with many various animals. Possibility to feed monkeys (together with the stuff) was amazing! Our whole family loved it. There are many attractions even playground for kids. Descriptions of animals are very interesting but those of us that do not speak German that good, would appreciate English texts being included/added as well. Parking is close to the ZOO, and costs 3 EUR per day. Kids up to 15 years do not pay entrance fee, adults fee is 13 EUR per person. Well worth visiting when in Magdeburg.

A nice Zoo for a smaller city. Big playground. 3 Restaurants/ snack areas. Lots of shade.

Animals have small cots and paddocks. It was sad to see some animals just run in circles as they simply don’t have space. I believe that animals are taken care of well enough as all of them look healthy, active and all. Wish they had more space. Overall, the zoo is good: accessible, has goats to pet, and very green. In the summer/spring it should be much better

Had a great day, the zoo is large and we could have spent much more time there. However the food option was terrible. Bad food and horribly overpriced. Playgrounds are great as well as the range of enclosures. Take your own food and you will be fine.

I was impressed about the place. So many animals and birds, a lot to see. Also, there are interactive ways to see the animals. You can spend all day here and not get bored. I recommend it especially for families.

I strongly recommend visiting. Especially for families with children. Not crowded. Well maintained and children friendly. Lonely to see the animals and probably the closest we can get to see them . The outlay of the zoo is also simple. Highly recommended when visiting Magdeburg Or if living in Magdeburg. The people at the counter too are super friendly and helpful.

Wir waren Anfang Februar da. Es war sehr leer und leider nicht nur von den Besuchern her. Es waren auch sehr wenig Tiere zu sehen. Für mich war das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht gerechtfertigt. Am Schluss war auch jeder ausgewiesene Ausgang zu und kein Hinweis zum Drehkreuz was wir dann durch Zufall gefunden haben. Personal war keins zu sehen.

I really enjoyed visiting this zoo! Beautiful view, lot of animals, bathrooms all over the place (that's an advantage) restaurant available! You can even get a closer view to some animals into their cages, that was awesome! I highly recommend it!

Netter Zoo 🐅 Bisschen schade das es kein Kiosk oder ähnliches gab an welchen man etwas zu trinken oder Pommes hätte holen können. Es gab nur ein Restaurant bei welchen man es nichts zum mitnehmen gab. Der Zoo ist leider wie jeder Zoo in Deutschland nicht artgerecht muss aber jeder mit seinen Gewissen selbst vereinbaren. Jetzt im Winter sieht man leider nur bedingt Tiere.

Wir waren am 13.Jan '24 im Zoo, Eintrittspreis mit 15€ völlig okay, Kinder bis 10 kostenfrei, Auf Grund Wetter waren wahrscheinlich wenige Besucher vor Ort = kein Gedränge vor den Gehegen oder in den Häusern ( Elefant Nashorn Affe etc.), Gastronomie war auch super, WC in der Gastronomie sauber & ordentlich = nichts zu bemängeln, Spielplatz groß und noch nicht alles erkundet, Werden auf jeden Fall nochmal her kommen,

Ein sehr schöner großer Zoo mit vielen Tieren. Wir waren bei 30 Grad dort und ich war froh das es dort viele Bäume gab. Für Kinder ist extra noch ein sehr schöner Spielplatz gestaltet worden. An den Kiosk's sind die Preise etwas sehr übertrieben ( Currywurst Pommes 11,50€ ) aber es gibt ein sehr schönes Restaurant im Park mit Buffet oder großer Auswahl an Speisen für vernünftige Preise. Da es so heiß war konnten wir leider nicht alles sehen und werden nochmal dort hin fahren.

Schöner gepflegter Zoo in dem man viele Stunden verbringen kann. Für die Kinder gibt es wirklich sehr schön gestaltete Spielplätze mit einer Menge Rutschen.

Ich war Jahre nicht dort und war erstaunt wie schön sie ihn hergerichtet haben. Manche Gehege waren leer oder in manche konnte man nicht rein ....keine Ahnung. In der größeren Gaststätte waren wir eingekehrt . Aber böse Überraschung das Essen hat nicht geschmeckt. Ne Currywurst am Imbiss wäre wohl besser gewesen. Alles in allem waren wir 3 Stunden Tiere gucken und im grünen bummeln und es war schön . Kann man ruhig mal machen . Vorallem mit den Enkelkindern . Essen und Trinken kann man ja mitnehmen. Die Spielplätze sind auch schön . Die Kinder konnten sich auspauern.

It is a great zoo with a playground and quite some animals, including chimp's, lions, snow leopards, exotic birds. Pity that some places are closed due corona. The place has an Africa themed restaurant.

Zookeepers are taking care of the animals with love and attention. Nice place to have a walk and see different types of animals.

Es war okay. Aber muss sagen das was die anderen berichten haben müssten wir leider auch fest stellen das sehr viele Tiere ruhig und apathisch waren. Teilweise sind die Gehege auch nach meinem Gefühl zu klein. Bin zwar kein Experte aber so ist meine Meinung. Auch das beim Kinderspielplatz direkt neben der Rutsche die Ziegen frei Rum laufen muss nicht sein die haben sich deshalb auch nur in der Hütte aufgehalten.Die essen und Trink Preise sind auch mega teuer. Das tapirhaus war das schönste am Park mit den Binnen

Really big variety of animals, it seemed all the workers were really respectful and friendly towards the animals, the atmosphere was great, lots of space and overall really fun experience. Open spaces with animals (feeding and touching was mostly forbidden) were also really fun and the architecture of closed spaces was really smart and added to the experience.

Couldn't see tigers though overall not bad.

We spent a really nice day here. The staff was very friendly. The zoo is small compared with other zoos we've been too, which is nice because one can see everything in a day. The information given about the different animals was very informative and well presented.

Also worth a visit in the cold season. Free for children (under 15) accompanied by an adult. Just great for families.

I love this zoo very much. Its a very good price and not only are there a lot of animals to see, it also has big playgrounds for those with kids, of all ages. At the moment there are a few extremely cute and fun baby monkeys too ... whats not to love!!

A great Zoo in Neustadt Magdeburg. You can see Elephants, Giraffes and so many other wonderful animals. Lots to explore indoors and outdoors. Kids have a very big playground in the Zoo area. There is also a lovely park area next to the Zoo. Here you can easily spend a whole day. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Zoo and a fantastic example of possitive enclosures that are both well maintained and expanded when possible. for example the flamingo exhibit is currently being doubled. The animals seem very comfortable and without stress (no odd behaviors). the penguins was my favorite exhibit as they are very interactive and expressive. They are still a smaller zoo and will grow wonderfully in the next few years. The price of a ticket for the size of zoo is a little bit more expensive than I wanted, but their conservation and education processes made it worth it.

Really amazing zoo😍 It is cheaper than the zoo in Hannover but wayyyy bigger! My husband, baby and I spent a good 3.5 hours inside! What I loved the most about the place was that each animal had a HUGE space to enjoy, which is rare in many zoos. To compare to Hannover Zoo, this zoo has lesser animals to see, but, definitely worth a visit for any one visiting Magdeburg - especially for families 😃

This was a really fun day trip for me. The zoo was spacious and had lots of different animals to see. Also there was a mini golf course and a buffet style restaurant inside

Fantastic mid-sized zoo that's really making its mark on the German zoo landscape. It's amazing how far they've come in the last ten years.

Great zoo with lovely attractions. After all the lions and giraffes though my one year old preferred the friendly goats on the playground. Just for this playground you need to go 😅

It's a large place of nature. Lots of animals not seen, missing or there place was cleaning. Elefants see only one,tiger not there. The Pinguins was very nice, giraffe and little monkeys. We love it !

Great mixture of different animals. Timed it right and got to feed the giraffes without paying anything extra! Good day out.

Very nice and clean zoo. The animals are treated well and there is free access for kids. We have been to zoos in Hamburg and Berlin, this is the best in the area.

Ich war schon mehrmals in diesem schönen Zoo, seitdem ich in Magdeburg wohne. Es ist jedesmal wieder ein Erlebnis. Mit Kindern kann man hier den ganzen Tag verbringen, um nicht nur die tollen Tiere zu bestaunen. Es gibt einen tollen Spielplatz und für das leibliche Wohl ist auch gesorgt. Der Zoo ist auf jedenfall einen Besuch wert.

Sehr großer Zoo, sehr viele verschiedene Tiere gibt es zu sehen. Zwei Spielplätze, unser Hund konnte bis auf die innen Gehäuse überall mit hin. Mein Sohn hatte sehr viel Spaß, wir waren fast 5 Stunden dort und hatten ne Menge Spaß. Reichlich Parkplätze sind vorhanden, die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und ich habe nix negatives zu sagen. Beim Restaurant dauert es ein wenig, war bei uns sehr voll und sehr laut
