Kitschy run down place for young kids. I would not recommend for any English speakers, it was clear we were not welcomed despite speaking German. Every thing is cash only, 1€ for the toilets and half the place is under construction. We could not go inside the theatre, the kids park was inaccessible and the statues are all fenced off.

Enjoyed the sceneries, at the moment a lot of building sites and wegs blocked and results a little bit crowded in good weather.

If you want to travel on a one day return trip this is the best place for a small and sweet weekend. A must visit place for nature lovers

Amazing views across the gorge, worth a visit to experience that. Unfortunately the surrounding area is a building site has been over developed. This rather spoils the natural beauty of the area

We drove to the car park at the top, plenty of room, and had a walk around where legends of witches and demons abound!! There is a big celebration here on 30 April every year. Lovely views over the gorge. There’s a zoo and a bobsleigh, and a funny house to go around, gift shops and a hotel as well

Some great views and a lot of different trekking paths you can take. There are also different restaurants, but we didn't try any of those. They were rebuilding when we were there, and it seems they are building a pretty awesome playhouse. I think we got there early, because when we left, there was a long line of cars waiting to get in, so maybe take that into account.

Good as a starting point for the cable railways, hiking routes and has nice views. The theme park will be rather enjoyed by small kids only, and the Walpurgishalle is not really worth entering for its 3 euro ticket price.

A very nice park with lot's of attractions such as a small zoo, alley with different animals and their paws, ice-cream stands, sausages on barbecue, coffee shop and upside down witches house. A lots of parking space in several parking lots, including a free line a walking distance. Enjoyed the walk and stay in the place.

It was closed when we visited because they are building stuff in the area, but we could see the upside down house and that was fun.

One of the must-see attractions in Harz. As of today, the entrance is free, also some free parking spaces could be found on the top of this hill. The view is also great, there are several good spots around the hill. If you are collecting stamps, there is one near Valkirie Hall.

Hexentanzplatz in Thale Hartz is a lovely recreation and relaxing area. You can take the luft up to Hexenplatz, walk around or have a beer or dinner there.

Nice place to visit, especially in the evening. If it sunny, you can see the beautiful sunset view from the view point here. The main attraction which is the building was under renovation so we couldn't go near. There is also a "Tierpark" here which is good for walk through woods. There is also a Rodelbahn nearby, we couldn't try it because it was closed by the time we reached. Still worth visiting here.

Great hike up. We took it steady and I would class it as a medium hard hike. We took the cable car down. Lots of fun.

Very nice cutter wood. We have been to other upside down houses, where we were more impressed.

The whole area is under construction and lots of things are closed and corned off, including one off the hiking paths back to Thale , we could find out own way through to get to that path thou , no sensible reason why it was closed .

Loved it!!! The place is unique, mountains and nature, there is small animal zoo, park, souvenirs shops and more attractions. There is parking you need to pay

Too many people. Paid zoo. Paid Rollercoaster. Paid restaurants. Why do you also need to pay € 3.50 for the parking?

Nice park with funny "witch museum" and activities outdoors for young and old. The open air theatre was closed when we went, but it is in our list of things to see in Harz. At least from the outside looked very nice and we can imagine the view is great!

Was a good hike to the top unfortunately the way down was half so good and covered only logged trees and nothing more. Recommended for Corona Hikes, shops were closed so bring your own supplies, masks are to be worn at the top/ view points.
