I did not enjoy the meal. I ordered it for pick up. It was ready on time although no one was around when I arrived. It was a receipt attached with my name and it said “paid”. So after standing there for about 5 minutes, holding a sleeping toddler I grabbed it and left. I ordered the paella valenciana and I was not pleased. The rice was watery which kind of sucks because it’s a rice dish. The chicken was flavorless. I didn’t like the taste of the mussels either. I may possibly try another dish from this restaurant but I’m not completely sure.

This is a great place to eat. It is a well kept older building with nice decor and excellent food. There is a bar on one side with TV's to watch any sporting event that you would like. You can see a television set no matter where you are sitting on the bar side. There is seating at the bar or at small booths adjacent to it. There is also a formal dining room, where there are no television sets. The food was excellently prepared and served just right. We started off with the traditional shrimp and garlic and spanish sausage. Then for our main courses, there was shrimp salad, veal marsala and then a BBQ rib special. All were prepared to perfection and tasted wonderful. The service here is exceptional and you will not be disappointed. If you are in the mood for Spanish/Portuguese you cannot go wrong with Costa Verde.

Was not pleased with our meals this past Saturday. This used to be our go to place. Don’t know what happened here. We placed an order for pick up. My son ordered the red snapper, it was rubbery in parts. Turned him off to only eating the rice and chips. The chicken francaise had a green/grey tinge! So disappointing because we ordered six dinner meals! Maybe new owners? Will not be back sorry. Photos added

My husband and I had a small wedding reception here (about 40-50 people). They catered to all our needs and guests. They worked with the bride, groom, family, and guests beautifully. They set up our tables as we requested even assisted us with the matter and allowed us to decorate as we pleased. I cannot thank the Costa Verde staff enough for ensuring my day was special. Thank you!

I've been going there for years. Food is an 8 out of 10 for me. Sangria tastes good but barely any alcohol. Food portions are great. I usually don't order anything but the entree unless you want to take food home. If you don't like crowds or a loud restaurant don't go Friday or Saturday night during prime dinner times. Prices are more than reasonable. Sometimes the bread is hot from the kitchen, sometimes it's not. Atmosphere is good in both the bar and dinning area.

Food was good. My son asked for Chocolate Lava and he was given a Cup Cake. The picture below is Chocolate Lava. I am requesting the owner please do not keep in the menu what you do not have. Do not cheat the Clients. I will not visit again and will not suggest anyone.

Loved everything about this place! The food, service, and atmosphere is great! I tried the codfish croquettes and mussels 😋.

Delicious food all around. Paella was straight up awesome and the portions were great. I will say however, despite the food being fantastic, there was a notable wait for it, but it was a busy saturday so its understandable. Honestly though, I dont mind waiting if the food's worth it, and it definitely was. Will be coming back for sure.

We’ve been going to Costa Verde for 15 years now, and there’s no other places that make a better Red Sangria!!! Costa Verde’s Red Sangria got to be the best we’ve ever had from Florida to Connecticut, and anywhere in-between!

Over-rated came here for dinner because every time we would pass it the parking lot was crowded and reviews weren't to bad, food was decent clams casino was dry not tasty at all didn't even look like clams casino also shrimp with garlic sauce needed more garlic sauce and could have been hot not warm I personally won't be running back but I guess to each his own. Stay safe and have a great day .

Just alright. There’s another place closer to home that is much better. My sister in law wanted to come here. We sat in the bar . It’s extremely noisy. The service was nice the girl was sweet. The food had no flavor. I tried salt and pepper but it wasn’t helping. I had the chicken and rice. My husband had the prime rib , him too needed flavor. My sister in law had some lobsters thing she said it was alright, however as I’m typing she’s still eating. She ate the whole thing. As you can see from the pics.

Went last night. Made reservations for 6pm. Got there at 5:55. Was met by about 15 to 20 people All waiting for their table as well. After about 20 minutes a gentleman came in and looked at reservation book and walked away not asking one dam question. As if no one was even there. Finally seated after some time we ordered sangria and appetizers. The sangria was equatable to a pitcher of Sunny D. Then came the apps. Calamari was rubbery and greasy. Stuffed mushrooms stuffed with same as clams casino. And can't say anything about the fried ravioli....Never happened!! Although that paella was good. Prime rib was mediocre and that's being polite. Needless to say we will not be dropping another 500+ dollars in this establishment. Go elsewhere.

My husband and I joined some friends that had eaten at Costa Verde many years ago. The server was friendly and attentive and answered all my questions about the many entree's offered. Happy to say that the food was still as good as ever! The grilled calamari was delicious and all our entrees were fresh and plentiful. One of my friends had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly and my husband tried the pork and clams which he loved. I had the seafood paella and I still have leftovers 2 days later! Great Portuguese bread and sangria too. There was a birthday party at another table and the whole room sang! Will be a retuning customer!

Amazing spanish restaurant. I used to take my wife here until we left NJ 20 years ago. We visited again recently during our trip to NJ. They updated the building but same owner and same great food! Thank you

Went there the first time the service was horrible but the food was OK. Went back a second time on a Sunday for dinner. The service was absolutely horrible. Waiters are very impatient. It’s. almost like they are doing you a favor to serve you the food was absolutely horrible. It seems like it was left over from the night before, and God for bid you should bring it to the waiters attention they get very offended. I have never seen anything as horrible as this before and when I called to speak with Steve, his answer was he was too busy to speak with me that was after I called three times so clearly it’s not just the waiters it’s also management I don’t think I would ever be going there again and I would advise anyone else who is reading this to think twice before going there and wasting your money.

This is an authentic Spanish restaurant style. Casual is ok. but not shorts and tank tops. Wait staff is very attentive and keeps your beverage full. Portions are good size to feel holiday full or take some home. I really enjoyed this place.

The food was great. Drinks were good as well. Prices are definitely fair. had a good time with the family the other night. Service at the bar was quick. The restaurant part was a little short staffed, so the food took a while. But it was delicious. It's definitely a good bang for the buck restaurant. And the renovation looked great. It has been years since the last time I went here. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the bar was.

Ordered a small white and small red sangria for me and my wife. Sangria was nice size pitchers and were fresh and enjoyable. We split an app of class and chorizo. Broth was nice and flavorful, not too overpowering in garlic like some places typically do. Ordered the sliced filet and shrimp for entree. Filet was nice and tender and cooked properly. Sauce seemed to be a mushroom and port wine sauce. Only complaint was that the oil may not have been the freshest for the chips, they weren't oily they were just darker as if cooked in older oil. They were still nice and crispy and enjoyable
